Please do not hire Jim’s roofing. I wish I would’ve seen the reviews before we had them onto our property. We only had them in as he was recommended to us by another contractor. I should’ve known when he phoned me and asked me to send him an email giving him permission to come onto our property for his services. We only asked him to come and give us an estimate for our roof and explain to him that we could not find anyone to come and touch our roof until the weather was +5. He said he thought he could help us while he was here. He did an attic inspection which we were OK with then we heard people up on our roof shovelling when my husband asked why they were on our roof shoveling. He replied with I need to do that to see what the problem is. We had three other contractors out before who did not need to do this after he left we received a bill four days later for $1300 when we emailed back replying we don’t understand what the bill is for when we only had him in to give us an appraisal. We agreed to pay for the attic inspection of $300. Did not get a reply to the email. Got a phone call from Jim explaining that if we don’t pay the bill, he is sending it to collection. He also stated that I gave verbal permission for him to shovel off the roof. This conversation never happened. I would never have somebody do work for me without a quote first please take my advice and do not hire Jim’s roofing. in addition to this, we had heat cables on our roof, which he tore off and left hanging and beside our house is a walkway which we keep shoveled. They piled the snow that they got from our roof onto the walkway, which made it unuseable. My husband and I had been shovelling off the area of the roof and would never have paid someone to come and do that when we’re capable of doing it ourselves learned a lesson to always reviews before hand.

Sub contracting work out and scooping profit, who needs company's like this who can't actually do the work.

Jim's Roofing came to inspect our roof for a leak. They didn't find the source of the leak, mentioned it was likely 'condensation,' and charged us $1,300. It was a very bad experience and I would not recommend their services.

Sloppy, disrespectful to people on site. Left the areas full of nails and debris. Never cleaned the eaves trough so had to pay another contractor to do that. Not bonded, run!

Never used them as when they came out to evaluate they told me one thing. Then when my insurance company contacted me, Jim "the owner" told my insurance company something totally different. Jim never came to evaluate so I do not know …

Seems like the quality of the roof repair was good, although I still have to see how it holds up over time. My main complaint is related to their awful communication. I had to call the receptionist repeatedly to find out which days they were coming, and even then they didn't show up on those days half the time. Super inconvenient as my work requires me to be at the office in-person and I had to work from home for a few weeks straight. Second complaint is that their clean-up was terrible - I was still finding nails in my grass and garden for a couple months after the work finished. Even if the work was good quality, the lack of communication is enough for me to advise anyone to STAY AWAY!

Jim's Roofing was amazing. We had a wind storm and lifted/blew off shingles. They literally came next day and removed all the stress and frustration. Thank you for being so responsive and quick. Will always recommend!
