  Quality of work seems sufficient so far (siding/roof) and most employees were friendly and tried to help (repeat scheduling issues). Unfortunately, everything else from scheduling, showing up on time or even clean-up were far below a five star review. Edit: Left a review a couple years ago. Recently had other companies come out to supply quotes to repair the work Sambor did (on Eavestroughs and siding). Unfortunately, unless you know what to look for at the time of install you’re sort of helpless.

  Thanks for your feedback. You hired us four years ago - we were never contacted about these issues then, so we did not have a chance to fix them. We are surprised you hired another company without giving us a chance to inspect and rectify any problems.   We decided to give Sambor Roofing a second chance after a less-than-great first project, hoping for a better experience. Unfortunately, things didn’t improve. Communication was poor from the start — we were left guessing about when the crew would arrive and received very few updates throughout the process. When the installer finally did show up, the job was done completely wrong and had to be redone. While we appreciated that they came back to fix it, we were surprised to receive an invoice right away — especially considering the initial work was incorrect. To make matters worse, we started getting daily calls asking for payment before the issue was even resolved. Overall, it was a frustrating experience. We expected more professionalism and better communication, especially after giving them a second chance.

  They are doing work in our neighbourhood on the WEEKEND and it is terribly disruptive. We can not only hear but also feel the vibrational impact of their tools from inside our house. My daughter has autism and looks forward to the weekend when professional construction work is generally not an issue, and her nervous system can finally relax more than during the week. I don't understand why this is happening on a Saturday, surely the workers would enjoy having a weekend as well.

  Roofing is a seasonal job and weather dependant. We cannot do roof replacement or repairs in winter. We do have to take advantage of the good weather days which means sometimes the guys work on a Saturday. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience we caused.

  It's impossible to get a quote... I have called, asked to have some one come out many times and no luck... I get that they are in demand but customer service has gone down hill. We have used them for a few projects so not sure what changed.

  I apologize you have not been able to get a quote recently. We did stop quoting on new projects for awhile as we have been booked solid since April of last year. I am not sure what phone number you are calling as the office's main number is 519-822-9393 and is answered Monday thru Friday.

  I wanted to get a quote from them for a repair job. I called them and left a voice message but never received any phone call after. I also tried their online form to request a quote and never got a reply either.

  Paulo inspected my roof in August for repair and to date I have not received a quote after numerous follow-ups. Go elsewhere.

  They came out to inspect our roof for repair but after three phone calls and promises to send quotes have never received a quote. Suggest you just tell prospective customers you are too busy at this time to take on new work.

  Sambor Roofing did an excellent job of replacing the fascia and some shingles on my verandah roof, as well a replacing the front eavestrough. The estimator and workers were courteous and efficient, and the workers cleaned up after themselves thoroughly.

  Had a roof leak. Devin came out to inspect. Gave me a fair quote of the repair. Cory had it fixed in half a day and didn’t need to replace the siding from the original quote. They called me a few days later to adjust the price accordingly. Great job! Very professional! Appreciate the quality work done.

  We had a concern about our roof. We had previously worked with Sambor Roofing Guelph and had a good experience. Within 24 hours of us contacting them, their roofing person was on our roof, assessing our concern. He inspected the area of concern and  assured us there were no issues. We are so impressed with their professionalism, punctuality and honest approach.

  I had Sambor Roofing replace the eavestroughs with an additional downspout installed. I found that the workmanship was excellent. The installer was fast, cleaned up all the small pieces and leftover nails around the perimeter. PS: I had inadvertently dislodged the side gate in preparation for accessing the side of the house. Before leaving the installer restored the gate to its original position. I was truly impressed by his professionalism. thank you.
