I was driving by this house that had this company workers working on a roof on a hot day. I saw these workers drinking out of a hose. Does this company take care of their employees by providing clean safe drinking water? These workers …

Thank you for your concern. We take the health and safety of our employees very seriously and comply fully with OSHA and state guidelines regarding heat safety. To clarify, all employees are provided with readily available clean drinking water on-site, as well as shaded rest areas when the heat index is at or above 80 degrees. Our crew members are trained to recognize the signs of heat stress and are educated on proper hydration, acclimatization, and rest breaks to remain safe in warm weather. While employees are free to bring their own beverages, including water and electrolyte drinks, we actively discourage drinking from a hose connected to a water source. This was a personal decision - not a reflection of our company's standards or practices. Additionally, we would like to note at the time that you observed our team, the temperature had not yet reached the threshold that would trigger mandatory shade and cooling protocols as defined by state law. Nonetheless, our safety measures remain in place regardless of temperature. We appreciate your concern and respectfully request that you consider removing this review, as it is based on a momentary observation and does not reflect the actual working conditions or standards we uphold. Our team works hard and we work just as hard to ensure their well being. Best regards, Jeremy & Jeanie Dumanovsky

This company doesn't give required notice. Has like 8 20 yr olds on the roof next to my sons room who works nights, making noise on the roof! Also the number is my daughters birth year twice! Kinda creepy. And they came knocking about why …

Hi Krista, We appreciate your feedback, and we'd like to offer some clarification regarding your concerns. In the state of Oregon, there is no universal legal requirement to notify neighbors prior to scheduled roofing work. However, we inform property owners (our clients) directly involved in the project. Oregon law allows construction work beginning at 7:00 a.m. Our team did not arrive until after 7:30 a.m. Most projects are completed in a single day minimizing any disruption to the neighborhood. We understand that your son works nights, and we truly sympathize with the challenges of daytime rest. With that said, our crew performed necessary work during legally allowed hours with professionalism and efficiency. Regarding your photo and comment about the crew's age. Every individual shown in your photo is over 30 years old. Our team consists of experienced professionals. We respect their right to privacy and kindly ask that you remove the image from your review. As for our phone number, we've used it for over a decade. Any resemblance to a birth year is purely coincidental and not something we have control over - nor would that be a reasonable basis for concern. Finally, our crew approached you politely to ensure there were no issues with access or safety as you were near the active work zone. This is part of our standard procedure to ensure both resident and worker safety. We understand construction can be disruptive, and we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. We aim to always conduct our work with professionalism and care. If you have any further concerns, feel free to reach out to us directly. Sincerely, Jeremy & Jeanie Dumanovsky Jeremy Dumanovsky Roofing

Wanted TWICE the cost of other more reputable places for roof moss removal. Sorry, but no Jeremy.

Have a couple leaking skylights. Sent some guy over several days later. Soft spoken guy looks up, calls it a window, says it might have to be replaced, say they don't replace windows. Also says he might have to tear apart part of the roof …

Avoid at all costs. Rude. Condescending. Poor communication skills (non-existent) & "Know it all" with no clues about customer service or etiquette what-so-ever. I originally asked for a section of my mothers roof to be re-done since it was leaking around the skylights. Done. No issues. I also asked about another - newer - section which was already re-done by another company, but still leaking asking if they could fix. They recommended that section of roof should also be re-done, but I opted to have them repair it instead. (a roll of the dice on my part, but thinking their reputation preceded them and it would likely be OK). However, it still leaked, although in different places and / or the amount of leakage has changed. I called many, many times asking them for that section to be re-done as they originally recommend. It took months to get a return call or follow up, but I was in no hurry. After they finally returned my call, I was told they needed to come out again and look. I showed them the same deck area and pointed out the leakage. They went up on the roof and later said they would get back to me on a price which puzzled me since they had done the attempted repair on the same area, but assumed they needed more measurements for the shingles etc. since this time, they would be re-roofing the entire section and not just re-flashing the skylights. A few weeks later I get an "estimate" for nearly $20,000 for the entire roof. I responded the same day on April 6th that I just wanted the section done as they recommend last time, NOT the entire roof. (in this quote, they gave me a "courtesy" credit of $200- presumably for the attempted repair on the section of room which still leaks). They never responded until today, May 7th in a phone call and now tell me they won't do the section anymore, but I need to replace the entire roof. Further, "bid" that was asked for and received INCLUDED a separate cost to CLEAN the roof. So, why would I ask you to

It's usually common courtesy to ask to park in someone's driveway. In an attempt to ask a question I yelled to get a guys attention he looked back and kept walking up to the house they were working on. So I walked up to the house and asked how long they would be there. He answered "not long". He did not apologize or even attempt to look at me when he responded. In a home improvement industry customer service is important. I myself work for a home improvement company as a direct seller. He handled it very unprofessionally. Reviews nowadays can cost a company alotnof money. This company has great reviews and it sucks I had to leave a negative.

Does not use EPA allowed moss treatment, took over three weeks from the time of the estimate for him to realized he underestimated the job from $372 to $1200, does not do zinc shingle application which is a bit sketchy since this would prevent moss from regrowing but I am sure this would cut into his profits, long delay between treatments which other roofing companies don't need, and his staff is rude. Cancelled my contract halfway through the job, found another roofing company which will charge me less and included the zinc strip application.

Excellent. Lots of workers. It is a lot of pounding if you are home. But it’s a whole roof. Will be noisy. Great job. Workers respectful and cleaned up. Even used a sweeper that picks up any roof nails. They took lunch break. Other breaks. This is very hard work. Done in one day.

We love our new roof! The crew was amazing. They were punctual, efficient, well organized and friendly. They addressed a couple of concerns immediately and rectified them perfectly. They went above and beyond for us. We would highly recommend Jeremy Dumanovsky Roofing.

Jeremy and his team did an outstanding job on our new roof: professional, efficient, meticulous, and courteous. The work was done right, the cleanup was spotless, and the whole process was seamless. I’d trust them again in a heartbeat. Well done, Team Dumanovsky!

Jeremy came to my home and unlike the previous 5 contractors who had come before and gave quotes for a new roof; Jeremy inspected our roof and suggested we wait as our roof still has many years of life! Great and honest gentleman! When the time “really” comes, he will be my first call! Thanks and blessings, Larry

A roofing Company that’s worth waiting for. If it would allow I would give them 6 stars. Number 1 : They are on time and communicate very well if there is a scheduling problem. Number 2 : They get the job done quick and efficient. Number 3 : if your neighbors work 8-4 they might not even know your house had work done, yes they are fast. I personally had seen them, or seen the result of work they have done on many of my neighbors roofs over the last 7-8 years. I’m very pleased to have had them do my roof. Worth every penny. Very good crew.

Not happy. Just a few days after the new roof was installed, a tubular skylight was blown off in a moderate wind. Apparently they forgot to screw it back down. Unfortunately it also rained and we had water damage to our ceiling. Jeremy came out and put in a new skylight, but no compensation for the water damage and repainting. There were also sloppy things done on the dormer peak of our roof that would have led to other problems that I had to repair. Now, a couple of years later with normal rain levels, we had additional water damage. The flashing on another the dormer peak was way too small, 1 1/2" when it needed 6" to cover the dormer joint and water got in and caused more water stains. I used another company to make the fixes and the replacement of the flashing and other fixes were $460.
