I didn’t have work done on my roof, but my neighbor did. I was in my bedroom getting ready for work as this incredibly arrogant crew worked on the neighbors roof. I heard a loud thud against my house that shook my bedroom window. I went out to the side of my house and found a hammer in my yard. I yelled up to the guys up on the roof and they acted like they were offended and inconvenienced by me telling them to be more careful because their hammer hit my house just inches from my bedroom window. At this time, I also noticed the abundance of debris and trash they’d thrown into my backyard, including nails, water bottles, and roofing shingles. I asked the arrogant kid if they’d planned to clean it up and he responded, “yeah I was going to come over and clean it up”. Shockingly, our house was hit with a flying hammer a second time and they generously added more trash to the pile they started in my backyard. I get they have a job to do, but these guys were careless, rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful.

We're very sorry to hear about your experience. While we didn't perform work on your home directly, we understand how disruptive and upsetting it must be to deal with debris and such from a nearby jobsite. This is not the standard we hold … More

I just called Bonn roofing to get advice for how to attach something to a concrete tile roof. I informed the woman I spoke with that I might hire someone to do the work. She told me she was busy and did not have time to talk with me about that. This does not seem like good customer service to me. Post edit: After reading the response from Bonn, I feel I left too kind of a review. I was asking if a certain kind of attachment could be used with their roofing material. After getting nowhere with Bonn, I contacted another roofing company that gave me the information I needed in less than 30 seconds. I hired a contractor to do the work. The job came out great. Bonn has lost any potential business with me, and my review, with their tart reply, will be viewed by thousands. I guess attracting customers is not part of their business model. Bless their hearts.

As mentioned , we are a business , not an advisory on " how to" for someone who , likely is doing some under the table work and has no idea how to do it. You asked to send pics...could we help you then ? No, sir , that's not what were in business to do !

This is the worst company, do not use them! I started with them three weeks ago and each time they try to fix my roof it is worse! They do not stand behind their work or care if they even fixed it to begin with, but making they leak worse is unbelievable. They need to be out of business.

Just to clarify... in the beginning , we recommended a new roof as well as a chimney restoration with a different contractor . You chose to do a minimal leak repair around this chimney, and signed a " no warranty" contract with us . We have been out several times (at no additional charge) to try and resolve the issue . If the leak is persistent, perhaps follow through with the chimney restoration and a new roof is the best solution. We have given you options, which are still available when you are ready to proceed.

Garrett, not only have we never cleaned your (parents house) , we fired you for a reason. As a disgruntled ex-employee, you have just rendered yourself not re-hireable, nor will you get a good reference...

You want to have a company that openly supports the current administration and its policies of hate, then use this company. If you don't, then spend your money elsewhere.

These guys are a joke. Smoking weed on roof tops and then blaming their co workers when they get caught. Besides, why pay them money when all they do is use cedar sticks to scrap moss of your roof and then use your faucet water with a bag of powdered zinc and then tell you " dont worry, your roof is now immune" haha, all you have to do is put a copper strip along the top of your roof and the moss will stay gone. If you need help with your roof, there is plenty of reputable contractors out there willing to do it for a better price.

Very friendly but make sure you get Everything in writing. I was out of town and shouldve waited for paperwork. Over the phone is no contract. 3rd time out they found the oringinal problem leak. By then I paid out much more than oringinally told by phone. Get all in writing!!!

I want to update my review. During an atmospheric river event, my mom's roof developed a leak over the kitchen. It was two days before Christmas and with all the rain we received I was sure most roof repair companies would be busy. …

Did a great job on our roof however they left a mess on our deck and porch. Most moss was picked up, but a lot was left. Sides of the house were covered with black residue from roof.

I had the roof replaced by Bonn Roof care because the previous concrete roof leak from the same area every year. Also had a yearly service/ maintenance agreement with them. This year, 1 mo after the cleaning and service, after 2 days of torrential rain, the roof leaked again from the SAME place. The very reason it was replaced but the initial labor warranty expired 2 yrs ago. The reason explained to me seemed structural, yet I was charged $895 for fixing it. And I didn't get as much a an explanation why this wasn't fixed in the first place .. it was just luck that much water didn't collect suddenly in that corner before. All the good will and my referrals to colleagues, died the first time there was a problem with the roof they put.

Bonn Roof Care Salem did a great job of cleaning and removing moss from our roof and skylight. We have a 1100 square feet home. The cost was $930.00. The crew was polite and respectful and they picked up all the debris that fell into the yard. The moss is removed by brushing not pressure washing. This method doesn't damage the roof like pressure washing or soft wash can. After the cleaning, a moss prevention solution is sprayed on the roof the same day. We didn't get the moss prevention treatment on our roof. I asked the lead worker why not and he said it wasn't on the work order. I showed him the contract where it was stated as part of the cleaning. He called his supervisor and within 15 minutes the supervisor was there to explain. They didn't have any of the treatment to apply. They had ordered more but it hadn't been delivered. He told me he would give me a call when they received it and schedule a time to apply it. The next morning he called and the crew came and applied it. The guys were careful not to get the solution on the house. If they did, it was immediately rinsed it off. The cost was competitive with the other companies I received bids from. They weren't the lowest bid. There is a 3% charge if paying with a credit card. I recommend Bonn Roof Care Salem. They give seniors a discount. Bonn Roof Care Salem is quick to respond to any questions or concerns you may have. They arrive on time and perform the work quickly and efficiently.

The entire experience was top notch. Bonn provided some of the best customer service I have seen in a long time. They were extremely responsive in providing the quote and following up. Their team was on time and very courteous. But I was most impressed with the attention they provided after the service. I was pleasantly surprised two days after the service to have their quality control person come to my home, get on my roof, and inspect the work to ensure it was done properly. And then another person called me a week later to make sure everything was done to my satisfaction and ask if I had any questions or concerns. Great service from start to finish.
