  In 50 yrs of ownership this is by far the worst contractor that has ever come into my home. 1) Move flower pots away from the roof line. 30 ft. away in a flower bed, broken pots. 2) Out of embarrassment my wife and I collected a large bag of shingles and nails from my neighbor's yard. 3) Multiple shingles lifted up and had to be repaired. 4) First rain and a leak around the chimney. They fixed it. 5) Second rain and chimney leaks again. 6) New gutters and during the rain a healthy side stream emptying on to the back steps. 7) Got the dryer vent cleaned bc dryer notified of blocked vent ,screen was clean in dryer, puzzling? Paid $100 to vent cleaning professional to remove a handful of lint and found that the vent from dryer was never cut through roof but discharging up against the wooden roof decking. Is that a fire hazard? You did the roof almost a year ago but you were out here again today to fix the dryer vent. Luckily we have a smart dryer that alerted us to a problem before something serious occurred.

  These guys are nice and professional but their work is not. They installed a roof for me that had shingles flying off the roof on multiple occasions and, while they did go out and repair it every time, they wanted to be refunded at the end instead of owning up to it. I wound up having a different company tear it all off and redoing it.

  Hello Mr. Leon, in good faith, we repaired your roof after it had experienced storm damage. We advised that you turn a claim into your insurance. You failed to do so and we responded to numerous other calls of shingles blowing off at no expense to you. When you finally agreed to turn in a claim, we met with your adjuster and confirmed that the roof had suffered significant wind and hail damage. The insurance paid you for a new roof and you chose not to allow us to make the repairs. We only asked to be paid for our time involved in meeting with your insurance and seeing the situation through to a good resolution for you our customer. I apologize if we acted in any way unprofessionally.

  José, who lead the four person team that did the new drain pan, is great. Loved his attention to detail. The bid from Elliot was also fair. Generally I’d recommend Ja-Mar. the one thing I wish they did more of is communication about work that should be done that is not roofing, but that affects roofing. One aspect of José that I really appreciate is his willingness to do that — point out issues he’d change. Ironically, he pointed out things he’d have done differently with the original roof that Ja-Mar installed nine years ago. There is still more work to do, with more bids needed. I will be continuing to work with Ja-Mar, and that’s an endorsement.

  I had work done on my roof from a handyman and it was leaking after I paid the handyman quit of money out front. The handyman came back the second time and charged me more money and promised me it wouldn't leak anymore and it started leaking again that when I call ja-mar roofing and Ja-mar roofing re do all the mess the handyman did. Ja-mar roofing did a wonderful and clean job. I will recommend any one that needs work done on there roof Ja-mar roofing. I will definitely call them again if something goes wrong with my roof. Thank you ja-mar for a great prize you charged me and in fast time. Thank you again.

  Great fast service. Had people come out next day for some minor roof work. They're definitely not the cheapest option but the quality and professionalism of the work is worth it.

  Writing for a customer so she can be anonymous: I still have some work in progress including gutter work, soffit and fascia work to be completed. But what has been done so far has been stellar. Elliott, Jacob, Megan and crews have been extremely courteous and professional and very helpful. So far very pleased with the work. I would recommend Ja-Mar Roofing to others needing work done.

  Had my roof replaced by Ja-Mar, and the whole experience was great. Communication was excellent, scheduling went off without a hitch, and the job was done in one day.   I have trusted JMar for several roofing needs in the past. Most recently they replaced some rotted soffit in a very difficult location. The finished work was excellent.

  They did a 30 minute screw replacement job on our metal roof that no one else would do at a reasonable price. That kept an old man (me) off a big ladder an a two story roof !

  Ja-Mar Roofing has been my go to for the past 14 years. They fixed à leak when the house was brand new and the BUILDERS couldn't figure it out. They have assessed my roof over the years and helped me maintain it before problems happen. I know that eventually we all have to replace our roof, and when the time comes, they will be my choice.
