  I had a very poor experience with Horner Roofing. I had a new roof, soffit, fascia and gutters. I paid a down payment when the contract was signed and learned 4 weeks in that the materials to complete my project hadn’t even been ordered yet. The entire project took 6 weeks and they had to come back after the gutters were hung because the job was not completed. This project shouldn’t have taken more than a day or maybe 2. When I called and asked questions the woman working in their office was rude and dismissive. This was a horrible experience overall and I would not recommend Horner Roofing to anyone.

  Called about 3 weeks ago to get a quote about replacing our garage roof. Marlin came out the next week to take a look and said he would work up a quote and get back to us in 3 days. We never heard back. We know it’s a big job and not just doing shingles but we should’ve just been told Horner couldn’t do it instead of ghosting us.

  One of the sale guys showed up for a estimate and never contact me back. I called the office and they said they'll get back to me in one week and still never heard from them. Been about 8 weeks.

  Supposedly they do great work but unfortunately we were not able to find out. Jett came out to do an estimate, instead I got a sales pitch and wanted us to sign papers right away agreeing to use them. A new roof and siding were already sold, just needed couple estimates for our insurance. He declined to take measurements or give us an estimate. Instead he insisted they'll just take whatever the insurance check would be and then do the work. That was a big red flag for us and we were warned about companies doing that. Moved on to someone else who was willing to give us an estimate regardless if it was insurance claim or not.

  Hi Steve, We just wanted to reach out and apologize for the negative experience you had with our company. We are a small, family-owned company that pride ourselves in customer service, and it simply seems like we dropped the ball this time! It seems that maybe there was a misunderstanding on how we handle the insurance-claims process. When working with insurance, we do typically go off of the insurance-estimate, but look through it with a fine-tooth comb to make sure there are items your insurance company didn't miss (ridge cap, asphalt stater, etc.) We specialize in working directly WITH your insurance company to ensure your roof is installed up to code requirements, when often insurance companies want to cover the bare minimum. It is NEVER our intent to take a check and run with it, and we only require a down payment, not the full insurance amount before work is complete. That being said, when creating an estimate for insurance, we ONLY estimate for existing damages, as that is what your insurance company will cover per your insurance policy. Sending an estimate to insurance with additional items that aren't damaged or didn't exist prior is insurance fraud and we simply don't participate in that kind of unethical behavior. Any additional work needed or requested by the customer would be estimated separately as an out-of-pocket expense. We completely understand your concerns and realize we have upset you. If there is anything else we can do to help resolve the issue, please let us know. We're human, make mistakes, and are always looking for ways to improve our business!   I called to get am estimate during normal business hours. No one answered, so I left a message. No one ever called me back.

  Hi Justin! We are so sorry that the ball was dropped on our part somewhere! We do show you calling in on February 19th. We also show that our receptionist called back the same day and input all your information in our system. It looks like somewhere there was a glitch in our system. Our sales guys strive to reach out to customers within 24-48 business hours. I apologize for this error on our part. We’ve tried to reach out and see if we can make things right on our part but haven’t been able to get ahold of you. Please feel free to give the office a call if we can assist further!

  Had a great experience with Horner Roofing, especially Joel. He was friendly, thorough, and trustworthy from start to finish. The crew did a great job, worked quickly, and left everything clean when they were done. Couldn’t be happier with the work and would definitely recommend them!

  We brought in Horner Roofing on short notice after another contractor couldn’t do the job. They communicated quickly and clearly, showed up on time, and got the work done efficiently. The quality was solid, and the homeowners were really happy with the finished product. I’m very grateful for how it all turned out. I am also really grateful for how well Micah communicated with me, Noticeably better than most contractors

  These guys did a great job. They came out when they said they would be there. They finish the job in a timely manner and left the work site as clean as when they arrived. They replaced our roof and on another occasion repaired siding damage in addition to a few other projects. Each time we were very satisfied with their work. When it comes time to replace the siding I'll be calling Horner first.

  Had Horner Roofing out to our house twice, once for weather damage and again for a complete new roof. Jett was easy to work with and the guys did a great job. The roof was completed in one day! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Horner to family and friends.

  Horner Roofing and Siding was professional from start to finish. A letter was mailed that included a notice for my neighbors to inform them of the upcoming project. Quality work on the fascia, great pricing, and thorough cleanup. Very impressed and highly recommend.
