David's company was contacted to completely redo and finish a screened porch project that the first contractor weed unable to complete. We researched, obtained estimates, and decided to use David's company based on recommendations Ultimately, David did not measure properly for the screen door re-install. Rather than correcting the proper way, he rigged parts of the installation using an old piece of wood and a nickel. Measurements for proper installation of the screen were off by at least a half inch. Consequently, the screen door did not close and operate properly. David did not performm work in accordance with our agreement, wishes and expectations. Also, he refused to acknowledge solutions to his mistakes. David failed to adequately communicate changes in the project status. Often, we initiated calls for completion updates. Aside from inclement weather adjustments, project completion was well beyond expectation and agreement. When contacted about problems, David blamed issues on the door being damaged by the previous installer and that he had to search for parts in the mulch; a totally false excuse. Services and expense ($400) of a skilled professional was necessary to correct errors and re-install the screened porch door to function properly.

To the Google community at large~ this review is nothing but lies. This homeowner first went and filed a complaint with the Atlanta Better Business Bureau. I responded immediately to the bureau and explained the situation. They did their investigation and determined the homeowner was in the wrong and had no right to file a complaint against me or my business. She then wrote this extremely misleading review simply as an act of vengeance. First, the entire build project was finished in a matter of days. There was a 2 week window while the porch screen panels were being manufactured. There was no back and forth about completion or an extended build period. Regarding your door, I explained to you that the door you supplied for this project had a damaged frame and was missing hardware with which to install the door, I had to dig through the mulch outside of your porch to find enough factory screws with which to mount this door. I can only assume that the handyman who had attempted to install it had damaged the frame. I also informed you that this door was not a good choice for your application as it was designed to sit within the exterior frame of a standard factory built exterior door, not a frame built from pressure treated 4"x4"s like what you would find on a screen porch. It was a couple of weeks before your porch screens were ready, and in that time the pressure treated lumber dried some. When pressure treated lumber dries, it also shrinks. This is common knowledge. I needed to adjust and shim out the strike latch for the door to catch properly, I had no shims to do so with due to your handyman losing said hardware and shims. I did the best I could with what I had to work with. I'm sorry you are dissatisfied, but you are upset with the wrong person. I noticed in your review you did not mention that I installed a piece of interior trim, inspected an interior door that was not latching properly, inspected your roof and gutter area at the corner of the porch where it w

We hired Homeworks of Georgia to replace the roof on our home. They did an outstanding job and the price we paid was very fair. The company's owner, David Browne, was very involved throughout the process. The crew that performed the work were knowledgeable and efficient. The clean-up was great too. We look forward to working with Homeworks again on future projects.

I worked with Drew and he was very helpful and professional. He was patient and answered all of my questions. The team were punctual and thorough. They finished my entire roof in around 8-9 hours. They cleaned up after themselves very well and I did not have to worry about picking up debris around my home! I would definitely work with HomeWorks again and recommend them to anyone! Great customer service and quality product!

The team from Homeworks did a fantastic job replacing our roof. They provided excellent advice on the depth of work needed, including suggestions that other roofers missed. I would highly recommend them for your next roofing project.
