  Mantua Ut. - I recently hired Homer roofing (Fall of 2025) to Install Flashing, Underlayment, Asphalt Shingles , PVC Roofing, and Small amount of metal roofing. For months after the install, I was getting a significant amount of water leaking into our master bedroom exterior wall. I thought it was coming from the exterior but Friday May 8th 2026 I had a third-party roofing inspector look at the PVC roof not knowing what I would find. This is not an uncommon industry practice. I texted the owner Chris Brown, (While I was on the roof with the inspector) having just found the 70 defects in the seams (50 full penetration and 20 partial) in an area of about 350/sf. At that time, Chris never once communicated or offered or showed any interest to come and look at PVC seaming defects or offer to fix them, instead of the competent professional already there. Rain was expected on a few days so why would not choose to protect my investment/property and have them immediately fixed. It had already been getting wet for months. Wouldn’t you do the same? In addition, at this point, why would I have confidence Homer Roofing could or would fix it? I was astounded that the owner (Chris) only response after I told him the problems, and that I had the certified inspector fix them was in essence, I can't honor a warranty on your roof because someone else fixed the 70 holes. In short, Chris told me that Homer is not willing to stand by their work on the roof anymore, because I had a certified, competent individual fixed it. I learned through this process, that a trained and educated PVC installer/professional can inspect the seams of a roof easily and quickly (with in minutes); to verify if it sealed correctly. (No one at Homer roofing even attempted to inspect the PVC seams, or you would have easily found the defects, right? Why is it not standard practice to do internal quality inspections? (Chris told me it is their practice to do internal inspections but I guess their ins

  I do not recommend these guys im a roofing contractor myself went to pick up there dump trailer that they wanted me to use for Mondays job they gave me when i when go pick it up jon england connected it to my truck went to go dump it and the dump came off my hitch and smashed the back of my truck jon said the would help pay for damages because really it was his fault he said its my fault for not checking that it was connected right but i assumed he connected it right and how come he didnt tell me right then and there that i had to turn the hitch around when hes the one who connected it ive never pulled a dump trailer i only pull a tool trailer so i he never advised me that i needed to turn it around and use the other ball on the hitch i just assumed he connected it right after saying he would help he tried to turn around and say it was my fault which is not true so now im stuck paying 2000$+ for someone else mistake instead of taking accountability like the coward he is he trys to blame me

  We had an amazing experience all throughout the process. Jon was attentive and patient as we picked our roofing material and kept consistent communication the whole time. We had many bids and Homers bid was similar to all the other bids we had received. But Jon's follow up and communication is why we went with Homer. The crew that did the installation were very professional and efficient. They showed up early and worked hard into the evening to get the roof done before a holiday weekend. They also worked well with our gutter guy that we had hired separately. Our gutter guy was impressed with their work as well. They also did a good job cleaning up. Most importantly, we are very happy with the final product. Our house looks like a whole new home. Thank you Jon for the care you showed us.

  I had an appointment earlier today and due to a technical issue the company was not alerted on their schedule. Homer roofing reached out as soon as the error was noticed, went out of their way to come and inspect and repair a problem, and gave an honest and fair estimate for several projects we’ve been looking at doing. If you’re looking for someone to get the job done right and to go the extra mile, you’re in the right place.

  Homer Roofing did a great job installing our new roof. I reached out to them while we considering buying the home (built in the 1970s), and the seller did not know when the roof had last been replaced. Jon did a free, thorough inspection and found that the roof had several layers of shingles stacked on top of each other, some obviously DIY fixes that were causing more problems than they were fixing, exposed and rusted nails, and other problems. Jon quoted us a fair price, and we went ahead and purchased the home. Jon's team got the work done quickly, kept the noise to a reasonable level, and left the workplace clean. They even did a magnet sweep to make sure there were no roofing nails hidden somewhere in the yard, important for us because we have little kids. Jon also went above and beyond when a supplier's vehicle damaged our driveway. Jon reached out to the supplier and made sure that they paid for the repair that needed be done. Our home is in West Bountiful, so if you're anywhere in that area, I strongly recommend Homer Roofing. I believe they service the rest of Davis County as well, and probably other nearby counties.

  Forrest is not only high knowledgeable, but dedicated to the craft. He came over to our house in under an hour when a leak appeared near one of our can lights. To make matters more challenging, it was also pouring rain and Forrest braved the elements to diagnose where the leak was coming from. Would highly, highly recommend!!

  Homer Roofing does great work. They replaced our shingle roof so fast we hardly noticed they were there and it looked perfect. Pricing was better than any other place I checked as well. Be sure to ask for the Triple D special.

  Homer Roofing is the premier roofing company in Davis County and the Greater Salt Lake Area. These guys are fantastic. They go above and beyond to make the roofing process simple and worry free.
