  Like many families in Godley, we were impacted by the catastrophic April storm and chose HomeOver because we had trusted local recommendations. They did a great job acting as the liaison with our insurance company, which made that part of the process much easier. Unfortunately, our experience with the roof replacement itself was disappointing. Communication with our Project Managers (Brittani and Mitch) was inconsistent, and at times left us feeling confused and questioning whether we had made the right choice. We trusted them to oversee the installation while we were out of town. After being told everything had been inspected and completed properly, we returned home to wavy and crooked shingles, damaged gutters that had been spray painted to cover scratches, nails and debris throughout the property, gutter pieces left on our outdoor lighting, shingle overhang, and exposed flashing that hadn't been visible before. Josh and James responded quickly and HomeOver reimbursed us for part of the gutter damage, which we appreciate. However, weeks later, we're still finding workmanship issues that should have been caught during the final inspection. I didn't want to leave a negative review, but after this experience, I can't recommend HomeOver. If you're local to Godley and looking for a roofing company, I would encourage you to consider other options.

  I don't typically take time out of my day to provide negative reviews but when "Josh" from HomeOver cold-calls me on my personal cell phone despite me having no prior business relationship with this company and having expressed no interest in their services to say that they would be "in my area" to "help my neighbors" and wanting to know if I wanted them to look at my roof; it solidified my impression that this is not a reputable or respectable company. I've become numb to the shady fly-by-night roofing companies that canvas neighborhoods after a storm looking to turn a quick buck but this takes it to a new level. I will never do business with a company that acts this way and would recommend others to think twice before they engage with any company that cold calls to drum up insurance claims. At least HomeOver's equally disreputable peers have the integrity (as limited in quantity as it may be) to look people in the eye when they try to drum up insurance claims - HomeOver is too lazy to even make that much of an effort.

  Completely ignored my no solicitation sign, rang the doorbell, knocked on the window and banged on the door. Littered a business card in my front lawn. Reported him to the Frisco PD.

  My family was worried and unsure which contractor we could trust, especially after having so many contractors visit our home following the thunderstorm. However, when we met Erik from HomeOver, we immediately felt confident that we had found the right company. Erik was very professional throughout the entire process. He always kept us informed about the plan and progress, and he consistently delivered the work on time. After the roof and all the damaged areas were repaired, we were extremely happy with the results. We are very grateful to Erik and his entire team for their excellent work, professionalism, and dedication. We highly recommend HomeOver to anyone looking for a trustworthy and reliable contractor.

  I wanted to leave this review because I really feel like this is one way of showing people how much we appreciate and are grateful we found these guys. Erik was amazing, from the first day until it was all payout and finalized he stayed in touch, we were never left wondering about anything. Everything that he told us would happen did happen, he didn't over or under sell us. I don't know about everyone else, but for us the biggest thing we fear when we hire someone is that they are not honest. He by far is the most honest contractor I've had to hire ever, not once did we feel lied to or that we were taken advantage of. We highly recommend this company to anyone, you will be more than happy hiring them. Thank you Erik for everything !!!!

  HomeOver replaced my roof and did a great job. Hunter Tatum walked me through the whole process with my insurance. He was like the whole project manager from start to finish. I up graded my shingles to a IR class 4 and got a break on my Home owners insurance. I would recommend this company to anyone.

  Aly Lalani worked with me from submitting my customer claim to the Insurance Company, to having my roof replaced to reconciliation of the Depreciation process. Aly always returned my calls quickly and resolved any issues with sub contractors. This was the first time I have ever submitted a claim for wind and hail damage to my roof and property. Aly made the entire process seamless, transparent and with minimal stress. I will recommend Aly and HomeOver General Contractors to my friends and neighbors.

  Gary, thank you for such a detailed review! A chimney flashing issue that two previous roofers missed over 10 years is exactly the kind of thing our team digs into rather than overlooks. Getting to the root of the problem with original flashing from when the home was built and finally putting that leak to rest for good is what we are all about. And you are absolutely right on the ice barrier — doing it to code is non-negotiable for us even when it is an easy corner to cut.   Alyaan Lalani did an excellent job of organizing and managing the storm repair on my home. This included full installation of impact-resistant shingles, and repairing damaged screens and privacy fence. He worked directly with my insurance company to ensure the preservation of my home value. Alyaan Lalani was always in contact so that I knew what was next all the way through the project completion.

  HomeOver did an excellent job taking care of our roof replacement after a hail storm. The team, from top to bottom, was polite, professional and provided excellent communication throughout the process. They have good attention to detail.
