Lower than most — the typical roofer in Illinois sits at 1.7%. A higher share is a reason to read the critical reviews below, not a verdict.

The critical reviews

The one and two-star reviews, first. These are what a star average hides, and they are the reason this page exists.

We hold no one or two-star review text for HighPoint Emergency Roof Repair. That is not the same as there being none — it means our capture did not reach any. The rating breakdown above is Google’s own count and is the number to go on.

Wind tore some shingles off and exposed a section of the roof during a storm last month. By the time I realized water was coming into the attic, it was already late in the evening. HighPoint was one of the few places that actually had …

woke up to water dripping from a ceiling light after a storm rolled through. called highpoint at like 6am not expecting anyone to pick up but they did. had a guy out within a few hours to get a tarp on the roof and stop more water from getting in. theres a lot of roofers in Chicago but not many that actually answer the phone in an emergency. came back later that week to do the proper repair to the damaged section. fair price for a same day response, no upcharge games

when it comes to emergency roof repair these guys really deliver on their word.  had a situation where shingles blew off during a bad storm and they were out same day to tarp everything up before more rain came.  came back a couple of days later to do the full roofing repair, looked like nothing ever happened up there.  fast and dependable service.

The crew was great. They showed up on time to fix our roof leak and didn't leave a single piece of debris in our yard. Very clean job and the price was fair. Would hire Highpoint again.

Wind does not start in the middle of a roof. It starts at the edges. Every time. Air moving over a slope drops pressure hardest at the corners, along the rake edges, over the ridge caps and across the two lowest courses above the gutter. Suction, not pressure. The roof gets pulled up, not pushed down. Chicago adds its own version. Gusts arrive off the lake with nothing to break them, funnel down the gangways between houses, then hit the corner of the next roof at full speed. Tall two-flats take the worst of it. Predictable damage is checkable damage. Five zones, in order. If a windy night left grit or a loose tab in the alley, search roof repair near me in Chicago before the next front lands.5 days agoCall now
