  ​After having a fence installed by Highland a few years ago, I recently discovered that the specific fencing materials they used have been discontinued and are no longer available. This means if a tree or storm damages a panel, I will be forced to buy a completely different brand that won't match the rest of my yard. Highland never reached out via phone or email to warn me that this product was being phased out. Due to this lack of foresight and poor customer service, I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for your fencing needs.

  Hi Jenny, we appreciate your feedback regarding this repair. As stated in our contract, "new materials will not exactly match the wear and tear look of existing materials and mismatched materials will not look like original materials". We did quote you $165 plus tax for the initial inspection and then there would be an additional amount based on hours worked and materials used. If you would like a copy of this signed contract, please let us know and we can send you another copy.

When they said I’d pay for materials, I assumed they meant matching materials?? They also left garbage on my lawn, and apparently brought a dog with them? My mail carrier left a package at a different door, because he said there was a dog running around while they were on the roof. I don’t even have a dog… The final cost was over 2x the estimate they gave me too. 👎 Update: I later received an email asking if I had any comments/concerns/suggestions. I restated everything I said in this review. Like yes, it would be nice if it was done well… I got no response at all, and there was never an attempt to come fix the obvious color/shape difference of the shingles 🤷‍♀️. I received a text asking how they did too, and I said the same things then. Again, no response. Why repeatedly ask people how you did, when you don’t care? When I have to have my roof fully replaced, I’m obviously going to just choose a different company.

  I had contacted Highland Contractors for an estimate and did not have to wait long at all. Jason came out and I could tell he was VERY familiar with the gutter work I wanted done. He also offered his opinion on our roof work another contractor did, which was very helpful. He also helped me in getting my insurance company to help pay for the work done, which I was not expecting at all. They gave me a time frame for the work to be done and that is exactly when they came to do it. They were punctual, respectful of my property, and had a thorough knowledge to even fix some "surprises" they found when they removed my old Gutter Helmets. From the contractor, to the employees who did the install, to the office staff I could not be happier with how the process went. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

  This summer I discovered that House Sparrows had pecked a whole in the sub-facia of my roof and were nesting under the rafters. Highland contractors came to the rescue, even though this was a small job! Vinney came out, scaled the roof, 3 stories up and fixed the hole....good as new. Highland is a great company with skilled, responsive staff like Vinney. I rate them 5 stars.

  Vinny was professional and listened to our concerns about our leaking roof. While removing a section of the roof he looked for and found the root cause of the leak and resolved the issue. While working he minimized trash and completely cleaned up after completing the work. We would recommend Highland Contractors.

  We had Chad come and give us an estimate, and he walked us through the process very clearly. He was accommodating and addressed all of our concerns and questions. We received estimates from 5 different companies but Highland was the friendliest and most transparent. The crew that did the work was fast and efficient. They had to come back a couple more times to clean up a few things, but the project manager Mike was very understanding and had no problems with our requests. Overall a fantastic job and great experience. Highland went above and beyond to make sure we were happy.

  Highland Contractors put up a fence for us. My husband & I could not be more pleased with the result. From first contact with Mr. Chad Newbauer the company was professional and friendly. I cannot say enough good things about the 2 men who came on a hot and then rainy day to install the fence. Professional, friendly, hard working guys. They worked through challenging conditions to finish the fence in one day. (107 ft of fence in one day!) Always with a smile on their faces. I will definitely use this company when we have more projects.

  Jason and Jenn are incredible people to work with. I have used Highland many times for various projects at my company they provide nothing but top tier service and quality of work. I would Highly recommend them to anyone. I will definitely continue to call them for any future exterior construction jobs that may arise.
