Hanley Construction

The only one or two-star review we hold for Hanley Construction.

Based on many other reviews I presume Hanley does quality work. However, their bid for our project was almost twice those from two other major roofing companies, and was not detailed enough to determine why. There were also several errors in the bid which individually were relatively minor, but collectively caused us to question overall attention to detail. The only explanation we received from the owner was that other companies use inferior materials and their bids I provided did not include fascia. After I asked how those could account for such a large discrepancy (almost $50K), he said “they do what they do, we do what we do.” He may be right about that, and again his company may do quality work, however our confidence was lost based on lack of consistency, attention to detail, and transparency.

Great experience - they presented multiple options from repairs to last me multiple years to complete re-roof to repairs to last me through the winter. Throughout felt lie they were always acting as consultants presenting my full range of options. When I decided to move forward they were quick and efficient and got it all done!

I think that the Hanley folks who've done my roof cleaning in each of 2023, 2024 and May of 2025 were very concise, doing a thorough and professional job.

Did a great job on the roof shingles and anchors. Cleaned our clogged rain gutters. Also performed two small siding jobs I requested and it made a real improvement on the deck level. Jobs well done. Tim Williamson

The entire process went smoothly for the repair to my composite roof and replacement of the skylight with remote solar shade. The roof repair was complicated by my original shingles not being available but a close match was found and from the street not very obvious at all. The replacement skylight also required some tweaking but the repair team did a wonderful job.
