Really unimpressed. We had the initial evaluation performed in the evening. Our dinner table was set, and we were literally sitting down to dinner. He sits down at the table and starts unpacking his bag to give us this giant presentation complete with props and a video. After the history of the company and all the nonsense, he finally starts going into his sales pitch. He breaks down all of the pricing plans, etc. He literally gave us a 15 minute presentation at our dinner table with the dinner. He said you should get your wife in here for this when he had to mention some of the concerns and things that could go wrong, but then somewhat shoos her away When it was time to discuss pricing. Despite his Incessant attempts to, so, we finally figured something out. He had promised all this communication and interaction. The next we hear from them, We are getting a bill. I never personally saw anyone at the house. After voicing some concern, only then did they send updated pictures in an explanation. Since then, we continue to have roof problems. I Will not be using them again and I strongly recommend when the salesman sits down at your dinner table that you tell him to skip the presentation.

If I could give a negative review I would. Working with Guy Roofing was an exceptionally poor experience. I reached out to them because of a leak that appeared over my bed. The initial meeting was warm and professional, however, after the first alleged repair, the leak spread to my bathroom. I called them back and after much conversation about how they do not guarantee their work, they returned. The second repair was only valid through the next storm when the initial leak appeared and dripped as consistently as the rain falling outside. I called my insurance provider and coincidentally, they also have a partnership with State Farm. I was falsely told that it “must be condensation”; from a unit that was not on. Long story short, there were a total of 4 visits to my home, outwitted and exhausted, I contacted a different company to help. The alternate company looked inside of the ceiling and shared pictures from where the leak was occurring along with how the insulation had been tossed about for observation. He followed up by going on the roof, finding the hole, sending me a picture as evidence and patching it for free. (Bless that man!) I made a complaint to the BBB as well and their support team claimed that I expressed satisfaction with the work of Guy which is an incredibly false claim. I am still dissatisfied, and I am reminded of the frustration as I continue to pay off the thousands of dollars I was charged for a prolonged poor experience. I would advise against using their services.

I called about a potential roof leak repair that I wanted to get looked at, confirmed, and repaired. I talked to Mandy and got stopped at not being the legal homeowner (what they deem as the decision maker). Ok, that makes sense, but there has to be ways/solutions to provide. This can't be the FIRST time this is dealt with, unless the solution/outcome every time is just to cancel/deny business. If so, ok, great, on par then. I am the one paying for it, the home insurance is under me, I can get permission from the legal homeowner, etc.? Potential suggestions of what can be done/solutions maybe like those? No solutions were provided/offered by Mandy. I shouldn't need to be the one to ask more about what can be done. I will not be trying this company again despite the 'good' reviews. Service, problem solving, communication, and working with a potential client/customer, is POOR.

Thank you for sharing your concerns. We understand how frustrating this experience must have been. Our policy requires authorization from the legal homeowner before we can proceed with inspections or repairs, but we agree that providing clear solutions upfront is important. We’ll be reviewing this situation with our team to ensure we communicate those options better in the future. Your feedback is appreciated and will help us improve.

Could be a good company but charging $150 for a quote tells me they will either nickel and dime your job or come in as the highest bid you receive.

They seem friendly enough, but It seems like they are unable to fix my roof leak around my chimney. I have had 3 visits in the past 12 months to repair, unfortunately, I still have the same issue. My ceiling is starting to mold from it. I would never choose this company again.

Guy Roofing installed a new roof in 2021, on a home purchased by my client. Their warranty did not cover incorrectly installed pipe boots, and they quoted $2500 to replace the pipe boots. Total Roofing was able to finish the job for a fraction of the cost.

From start to finish they were very informative. They gave options and didn’t just give us the highest price. This is probably the best company I have ever worked with. They even cleaned up our porch from where we took a piece of our porch down so they could get to everything a mess they didn’t even make. It all was an amazing experience.

If you contact this company be prepared to endure a very lengthy, high pressure sales pitch, for a completely new roof no matter how small your problem. They will force you into their very lengthy sales presentation and refuse to skip it. It will feel as though you are trapped in a timeshare pitch. I had a very small leak in the roof and they sent someone out to check it out. Inspection was very thorough, but very quickly I started noticing some odd behavior such as the representative saying "what made you decide to buy from me today" and "can't wait to get you on the books" along with some awkwardly transparent attempts to build personal raport within the first 3 minutes of meeting him and before I'd committed to anything. But when it came time to discuss what they found and a potential plan I was forced into a very lengthy aggressive sales PowerPoint presentation about the history of the company, the history of the founders, the charities they partner with, the materials they use, their better business bureau rating, the salesmans personal history, and more. It went on and on and on. The representative had already been there for many hours and I asked politely twice to please skip the extended presentation and just tell me what they discovered about the roof and what they propose. He REFUSED and insisted on being able continue the presentation and stated that if I wasn't willing to listen to all of it then perhaps they weren't the right company for me. They must sales train these guys intensely. I wasn't going to ask him a third time and simply asked him to gather his gear and leave. These folks may do good roofing, I don't know. What I can say is I believe they are overtraining their sales people. The gentleman seemed like a nice guy that had been overtrained in aggressive sales tactics and ordered to not deviate from them. A shame really.

We are very pleased with the service we received from everyone at Guy Roofing. This is not the first time we have used them and it probably won't be the last. Everyone associated with them has been very helpful and knowledgeable. Any time we needed a question answered they were only a phone call away. Most of the time they gave us courtesy calls with updates about the process along the way which kept the phone calls at a minimum. When the Roofing was finished everything was cleaned up and hauled away completely. We are very happy with the results!
