  Well we are sad to hear that your repair for less than $400 seems dishonest to you. Originally you called us for an estimate on a new roof but when you received our quote you indicated that you weren't ready to spend 8k on a new roof and really just wanted us to solve your leak concerns. We gave you the estimate for the repairs and we did the job. How dishonest is this really? I remember you trying to tell us in the middle of the repair that you wanted just the chimney vent fixed and we said that we are only doing the items listed in the repair quote. As a 30yr professional it is my opinion that all the boots needed replacement. We had 3 guys out there, how much do you think we made? Why would we be scammy for less than $400? We solved your leak problems and got you where you needed to be by a certified insured and skilled company. What more should I do for $400? It's absurd to receive a 1 star for coming out there when we said we would, for the price we said we would AND actually solvng the problem.

  This was the WORST person I have ever dealt with in my life. The quality of work is also a complete JOKE. Avoid this trash!!!

  I have reviewed all of my appointments, clients, estimates, and invoices and have never met or worked with a Mr. Restifo. Perhaps this is a case of mistaken identity? Please contact us if there is work we did for you under a different person's name that is unsatisfactory. We do warranty our work.

  We had a terrible experience with Steve Rulli/The Mad Roofer. After researching online, as well as get a friend recommendation to use Steve to replace our existing shingled roof with a metal roof, we chose to move forward. Steve estimated not only our roof replacement, but replacing existing flashing around our chimney and in areas that were needed. He did an extremely poor job with these items, as well as put our guttering back up completely incorrectly. Now, the water just sits in our gutter and will not drain properly because it wasn't re-installed correctly. We unfortunately paid in full because Steve was insistent on being paid as soon as the job was complete, and it wasn't until our first rain that we noticed things were not functioning properly. We had a general contractor inspect to see what was happening and at that point did he point out all Steve did incorrectly or poorly. We reached out to Steve to come and take a look at our issues, providing him pictures and exact information as to what was happening/wrong. That is when the ugly texts began, very poor and unprofessional language was used, he refused to correct his mistakes, and he refused to communicate with us further. At this point we are having to get someone else to completely re-do these items and pay twice for something that should and could have been done correctly the first time. I have given him 1 star on this review because honestly, the roof he installed looks to be fairly good quality and decent work. However, everything else that went along with the roof was incredibly disappointing. After mentioning to another contractor in general conversation what had happened to us with Steve, he informed us that Steve has a very bad reputation in the area for not being willing to fix his mistakes or do things correctly the first time. I just wish we had learned this information sooner, as we would have chosen someone else to work with. I would definitely never be able to recommend him for any work, b

  While we did successfully re-roof Ms. Berrier's house as she mentions in her review, the dissatisfaction stems from longstanding issues related to the foundation and not part of the work we were contracted to perform.

  I have had four homes remodeled and this was by FAR the worst experience I've ever known to be possible. The quality/craftsmanship is beyond words. We couldn't be any more disappointed in the mad roofer and his professionalism. They even went #2 in our front yard and left the toilet paper sitting there for us to pick up.

  Cleaned out gutters. Repaired our flashing around our chimney (damage from Helene). And replaced our fascia. No leaks since!

  Repaired a portion of my gutter and added a new section. Installed a new downspout as well. Highly recommend them.

  If you can wrap your head around a 92 foot long single piece of gutter being put up with three downspouts to contain enough water coming off of the metal roof and having no overflow that is what was put up at my house. And then after a rain going up and there be no build up from any sagging all the way down the gutter line. That is the reason for my five stars plus one.

  Mr. Rulli came to my house and did a thorough evaluation of our roof. He knew we're pinching pennies, so he prioritized the problems and offered us several options. He allowed us to choose the option that best suited our budget. We felt no pressure to choose the most expensive fix. He and his company do excellent work!

  Steve & his crew are the best! Very responsive, years of expertise & deep experience, and reasonable price point. They came out to look at our roof before we put our 100 yo house on the market, and made some important roof repairs that we think made a difference in the sale. Would recommend 10/10.

  Steve is very knowledgeable about various types of roofs - even the tough angles and materials. His work estimates are accurate and he uses quality materials. On top of that, he is personable and professional at the same time. Best of all, he does what he says he will, when he says he will, and how he says he will.

  I had some gutters repaired and cleaned after Helene damages. These guys were in my neighborhood and offered a free estimate and replaced some flashing around my chimney that they noticed while repairing my gutters. A+ service and would use them again!

  Steve’s crew was great to work with. His son ran the job putting a metal roof in my farmhouse. The flashing job looked good and they cut in counter flashing on the chimney rather than just gluing it. I renovated historic homes in New Orleans for 20 years and had my contractor’s license. Their price was also reasonable. Way less than the guys that advertise a lot and send out commissioned reps to hard sell you with a “today only” price.

  Great Project execution ! Steve and Jake are very knowledgeable and communicate very well. Their crew worked around weather changes and got the job done as promised. Estimates were timely and small changes were taken care of with no issues. The site was kept clean during the entire project. I highly recommend The Mad Roofer for your next project !

  I'm pretty sure the 1 star reviews on here are bogus or from competitors. Steve and his crew did top notch work for us and was 100% above board on quotes, materials, and work needed / performed.
