Was hung up on when I asked about the company putting a tarp on my house. You can be SURE I won't be calling them for a roof.

i called a roofing company because i was worried about a possible roof leak after noticing moisture near one of my walls and around the foundation. Javier came out for a full inspection, checked the attic, walked the entire roof, and looked over the gutters and drainage areas. He was very thorough and explained everything in simple terms. After a careful inspection, he did not find any active roofing problem causing the moisture issue. He mentioned there was some light hail wear, but nothing serious and nothing that needed repair right away. Even though i was hoping they would find the source so i could solve the problem faster, i really appreciated the honest feedback. It was refreshing to work with a roofing contractor that did not try to push a roof replacement or sell work that was not needed. patrick was straightforward, professional, and respectful the whole time. That kind of honesty is hard to find, especially with so many roofers who try to create problems that are not really there. Even though i did not need roofing service at this time, this experience gave me a lot of confidence in their roof inspection process. bruce and the team clearly care about doing things the right way, and i would gladly call them again for any future roof repair, gutter, or inspection needs.

We noticed a few small roof leaks showing up on the ceiling and wanted to fix them before they turned into bigger water damage. We had three roofing companies check the roof over a span of weeks for possible shingle and flashing damage. The …

It is not often that I am impressed enough by a roofing service to stop and write a review, but this experience truly deserved 5 stars. I called Chavez Family Roofers Llc after finding water damage on my floor and not being able to figure out where it was coming from. Since one contractor thought the problem might be related to the roof, I reached out for help because they had installed my roof before. Theodore answered my call right away and assured me that if the issue was coming from the roof, they would take care of it quickly. Within hours, Javier and the crew arrived at my home and did a very careful roof inspection, checking the shingles, flashing, and other possible trouble spots. Once they did a water test, it became clear that the roof was not leaking. Even so, they did not just leave after that. They stayed involved, helped us keep looking for the source, and made sure we understood what they were finding during the inspection. What stood out most was how helpful, professional, and patient everyone was through the whole process. Javier even made extra calls to help point us toward the real source of the problem, which showed real care and strong customer service. It is rare to find a roofing team that is this honest, responsive, and willing to help even when the roof turns out not to be the cause. Excellent work and a great experience from start to finish.

Chavez Family Roofers Llc installed a new roof on my home with high-quality asphalt shingles and Dow Powerhouse solar shingles. During the consultation, Patrick explained the IBHS Fortified Roof program and how it could improve wind resistance and overall roof protection. Meeting those standards took some extra planning and paperwork, but the added cost was worth it because it helped lower my insurance premiums and added peace of mind. They also made sure the roof deck seams were taped, which adds another layer of leak protection if shingles ever come loose during strong storms or high winds common in NC. The whole roof replacement was a smart investment, and the installation work was done very well. After some minor storm damage later on, Javier responded quickly and repaired it right away, making that section of the roof even stronger and better prepared for future wind and rain. I highly recommend them in East Flat Rock.

I hired a roofing crew to replace my flat roof with a rubber roofing system to stop a leak inside my home, and they did an excellent job. Leonard took time to explain the roof work, materials, and each step of the process, and I never felt pushed into anything. The whole project was finished in about a day and a half, which was faster than I expected. Patrick led the crew and was very knowledgeable, helpful, and easy to talk to. He answered every question I had while the roofing work was underway and made sure I understood what was being done. The crew was professional, respectful, and courteous throughout the job. They protected the area around the house, kept the yard as clean as possible during the tear-off and installation, and cleaned up the remaining debris when the work was done. I also appreciated the extra care they showed inside my home. Any mess tracked in during the job was cleaned up, which showed real attention to detail. The new rubber roof looks great, and I am very pleased with the workmanship, communication, and overall service. I feel confident this roof replacement was the right fix for my home.

As Executive Director of a nonprofit that develops curriculum for orphans and foster children, I have been grateful to partner with company: Chavez Family Roofers LLC in East Flat Rock. Their roofing team has been a real blessing to the community and a dependable support to families in need. From every conversation I have had with Theodore, Bruce, and Javier, it is clear this roofing company treats its workers with care and respect. The crew members speak highly of their work, and that says a lot about the values behind the business. The roofing work completed for me was handled in a professional way, and after the repairs were finished, we had no more roof leaks. The whole process was smooth, well organized, and done with attention to detail. It gave me real peace of mind knowing the roof was secure and the workmanship was solid. I also appreciate how they step up to help families who need roof repair or roofing service but are struggling with the cost. Their willingness to serve others, support local needs, and give back shows strong character. They have also continued to support our nonprofit in more than one way, and that kind of partnership means a great deal to us. We have seen firsthand that their work is not only about shingles, roof repair, and quality labor, but also about helping people. Our experience has been very positive, and I would gladly recommend them to anyone in East Flat Rock looking for honest roofing service, dependable communication, and professional results.

They replaced our full roof, and the whole roofing process was simple and easy from start to finish. They gave us several estimates because at first we thought we only needed a partial roof repair, but their pricing was very fair and competitive. The crew worked fast, handled the shingle tear-off and installation efficiently, and did an excellent job with cleanup afterward. There was a small issue near a section of vertical siding during the old shingle removal, but it was addressed and the finished roof looks solid and well done. Overall, we were very pleased with the workmanship, communication, and value, and we would gladly use them again for roofing services.
