  Roof ridge shingles were repaired by using the wrong color and do not match at all. This was not due to fading (new shingles much lighter) and they came out to inspect/quote ahead of time. Overall the experience was marginal and I will seek a different company for any future work.

  One of the DLV representatives just walked onto my property, entered my Screen porch left a brochure inside my screen porch and then left. to me. That’s trespassing 101 you should not have passed the threshold of the screen door. If you can’t respect my personal property, how can you respect my contract? Based on this information, I would tell anybody to avoid somebody who doesn’t understand simple laws

  Terrible stay away from DLV, I can't imagine a worse experience, initial quote which I agreed upon turned out to be non-color matched hip and roof shingle, then they charge me to get the correct stuff, all along the correct hip shingles are well documented on the Presidential TL bundle wrapper. The first crew turns out to be subcontracted (even though DLV's salesman emphatically stated they don't subcontract), it was this crew who refused to install the hip shingles because the color clashed so badly. After waiting six weeks for the correct hip shingles to arrive through the hail and storms of April they then send a second subcontracted crew. Of course the second crew neglects to trim back the material at the ridge vents creating complete blockage, I bring this to DLV's attention and they argue with me, I say I'm bringing in an engineer, and they say let's have a certainteed inspector look at it for my 5-star warranty, of course the inspector sides with me. Stay away, far, far, away. This Asheville, NC DLV organization, sucks, plain and simple. I would have been better off with a storm chaser, stay far, far away. James, are you listening?

  Experience started positively but ultimately was a disappointment. DLV came promptly to provide an estimate for a $4500 post-hurricane roof repair project. I then contacted them 4 times - 2 emails and 2 voice mails - asking to move forward. I never received a response. I understand all roofing companies are overwhelmed due to the hurricane, but if the company tells you they are taking on new projects then I expect them to follow-through accordingly.

  We had DLV Roofing out on July 25th, 2024. Met with their employee to discuss a roof and gutter repair and get a "general estimate" of the remaining roof lifetime and estimated replacement cost. Never heard back from their employee. Yesterday I called the company to let them know I never heard back on the repair estimates and had selected another company. The woman who answers the phone was very nice and apologetic and offered to get back to me. I explained I did not need her to call back but was simply extending the courtesy of letting her know that I had never heard back from their employee so perhaps they could figure out what went wrong since clearly my time was wasted as well as theirs. Really disappointing experience given their overall very good reviews.

  I don’t usually review businesses but based on what our experience was we had to comment. My husband called DLV on November 5th to get them to come out and give an estimate to replace the roof and a porch that we are adding on. We had called several companies and DLV was the only one that didn’t seem motivated to do a quote. They waited 2 days to even call back to our initial inquiry. When he did finally call back he said he would wait until that following Monday to come. In the meantime we already had 2 come out the very next day and received quotes. My husband called back on the 8th and told them not to bother coming that we already had made the decision to use someone else. Much to our surprise we received a quote from them on the 15th after we told them NOT to come and saw that based on our cameras he came on a Tuesday and was on our property without our consent for 5 minutes max. Also our other quotes were going to do more and provide better protection to the roof than what DLV was. Obviously they cut corners. They never asked what we wanted. It does help to talk to the homeowner about the roof. They must think homeowners are stupid and they can do whatever they want. They obviously DON’T listen and DON’T have any respect for the homeowner. We will never use them or recommend them to anyone!!!

  Came out promptly to assess the problem, found it in two minutes (literally!) and a crew was out in two days to do repair. Very happy with the whole experience and price was very reasonable.

  We needed work on our damaged front porch roof. We have used this company before and they are still awesome! Very polite and quiet. No loud music or broken down trucks. They came, did the job, cleaned up and left. We are very pleased with their work and professionalism.

  The crew was very professional did a great job. We were very very impressed with the cleanup. They went through the flowerbeds and driveway and everywhere else to remove any debris from the old roof. The new roof looks great and we’re very happy.

  DLV staff was very responsive to my questions and requests and the team worked efficiently to get my re-roofing job done in a timely fashion at a fair price. Their warranty was superior to that of competitors with similar bids. The crew was hard working and my neighbors even commented on how courteous and friendly they were. Clean up was also thorough. The only shortcoming was the absence of an onsite supervisor who was fluent in English, making it hard to communicate any concerns as they arose. In the final analysis, however, I was very satisfied with the outcome and would recommend this company and use it again.

  I was extremely pleased with the service and quality of workmanship provided by DLV Roofing for the replacement of my roof. They have a very efficient, organized system of operation, sending detailed communications outlining every step of the way. Their pricing is fair and their contract spells out everything in detail. All my requests were fulfilled, and they even went above and beyond by installing some missing gutter splash guards. Their installers are hard workers and got the job done in a very timely fashion. The clean-up was fantastic. I'd never know they were here except for the beautiful new roof. I would highly recommend DLV Roofing company.
