  Thank you for sharing your concerns. We take all feedback seriously and reviewed the circumstances surrounding this project. Green Leaf Roofing was contracted directly by the building owner and property manager to complete a specific, approved scope of work covering three buildings. As a tenant, you were not the contracting party and were not involved in the scope of work or the decisions made between the owner, property manager, and our company. After the work was completed and the property experienced significant rainfall, we were promptly notified of a leak. We inspected the roof and determined that the source was an existing roof panel that was outside the original scope of work. We immediately communicated this to the property manager, received authorization for the additional repair, and completed that work. We also communicated to the building owner that, given the overall condition and age of the existing roof, additional concealed issues may develop over time and that a full replacement should be considered to help prevent future leaks. We understand that water damage is frustrating, and we are sorry for the difficulties you experienced. However, our company has worked directly with the property owner and management throughout this project, responded when the additional leak was reported, and completed the additional repair after receiving authorization. We encourage any remaining concerns regarding the property or personal belongings to be addressed directly with the property owner or property manager.

  Consumer Warning - (Updated) After asking for an estimate for a repair on a small corner of my roof that's 3 years old, i get the statement that the whole roof has to be replaced. The damage is in a small area of the roof that a Handyman could fix (if not for state laws and code). Yet, these guys want to remove and replace the entire roof. The roofing industry is a top industry of scammers and fraudsters. Do yourself a favor and get MANY estimates. You'll be shocked at the things that even the "highest rated" companies will come up with. This company lacks honesty and is very disingenuous. Don't get scammed. Find a honest roofer. Fact check #1 - You never told me that you wouldn't take the repair. This is a lie. I can screen shot and prove the conversion showing your attempt to up sell a whole roof job instead of a repair. No, you never gave an actual price. That's true. Yes, you expressed to do the whole roof job instead of a repair. Publically lying about our conversation may lead to a lawsuit. Fast check #2 - After a VERY hostile, angry, and degrading phone call where you refused to allow me to speak at ANY POINT, you told me the inspector said it "might" be 25%. The inspector speculated based upon a few photos and never saw the house in person. You yourself never saw the house in person as well. After calling 6 of the 11 other roofers that provided estimates, ALL of which have said this is far from 25%. They all said, "don't worry, it can be repaired". Fact check #3 ‐ The house does not, and never had any plywood over any windows. I'm truly impressed how you could come up with such an thing. Anyone passing by can see that's false. The delusion here is unrivaled. Fact check #4 - I never said a Handyman can do the work. I said a Handymans level of skill is all that's needed to do the work. Learn how to read. Obviously, a license is needed. Speaking of license, I will be reporting you to the licensing and board about your extreme hostility, clearly present

  It is very unpleasant to read your absolutely misleading “review” on our business since we didn’t even give you an estimate for the work. We wouldn’t take on your roof repair request because you have a structural damage to your rafters after a fallen tree, regardless if it’s only 3 years old, your roof has multiple issues all around, stress fractures on the rafters and ridge plate due to the weight of the fallen tree, fascia’s and soffits are damaged, roof and facia line is completely warped, damaged roof deck etc. After sending photos to the city inspector it was advised that it had over 25% of damaged. That roof needs a significant amount of repairs including structural work that requires only a licensed contractor, not a handyman as you suggested. And since we obey by FL Building Code, we could only offer you a full roof replacement or we would not do it at all. Since you said that you received 11 other estimates and wasted a lot of everyone’s time, it should be clear that no respected contractor would do minor repairs on your property violating the Building Code. Lastly, as you are yourself a handyman that has a company that doesn’t even have a license, your uninformed opinion on the building work explains why you couldn’t get a professional license. It is very poor from your side to leave dishonest and misleading reviews to hurt local businesses.

  Would be helpful if you mentioned the whole situation. You have offloaded 4 TVs , stoves and 3 microwaves into our RECYCLING truck that would have caused us severe fines and penalties. We have a climate friendly pledge and recycle ♻️ all of our materials. So you can’t just dump your yard and house clearance garbage into our recycling trailers without even asking. Secondly, the contract clearly states the payment terms “on completion”. The work was completed and Final inspection approved on 11.07. As of today, 11.12, you haven’t made the payment. You also mentioned that you were planning to go away before making the payment, you haven’t made any deposit either. So again you’re breaching the contract and instead of dealing with it you decided to write this unfair review. Our employees were astounded by your dumping decision, not by our company owner. They indeed have never experienced such a behaviour from the homeowner. So please contact us to arrange the payment for the work being done to prevent further inconvenience witht the lien being placed upon your property for unpaid work. Thanks and have a lovely day!

  In my opinion-shoddy, sloppy work. Pics speak for themselves...also the drip edge is not installed correctly. It needs to be notched a certain way where it overlaps at the top-not just a fast cut and bent at a 90* with a GAP at the top. Facia was slapped up there with terrible cuts and slathered over with caulking-also had a nail drove thru an electric circuit under the flat roof portion where plywood was replaced. Luckily it did not catch house on fire. When I contacted James about it all I got was heated excuses how they didnt do it and was not at all interested in even checking it out. This was at my 90 year old mother in laws house. Spent A LOT of $$$ and expected better. Shameful in my opinion.

  Green Leaf Roofing did an excellent job inspecting and repairing our roof. They were reliable and arrived on schedule. They were diligent workers and cleaned up after working. My husband and I highly recommend them and we would absolutely use them for any roofing issue

  Terrific roofing company. Justin (co-owner) personally came to my house to provide a quote and samples. Justin was upfront, honest, and worked to overcome permitting issues with the county. The workmanship was top notch - Green Leaf uses their own labor and does not sub out to other roof companies. I felt like I was dealing with an honest company who cares about their customers and their reputation. Highly recommend!
