UPDATED: I originally had a great experience with Anthony and his team. Since then, the lack of communication has been upsetting. I requested proof of payment to have my homeowners insurance updated. I hate leaving negative reviews but I think something must be happening at this business. I have called no less than 5 times in 2026 and have received a few texts back. Those texts asked what they could do for me. When I asked for proof of payment, the disappeared and stopped responding as well. I offered to send them screenshots of the original payment if they could just put it on letterhead, but again, no response.

Folks, be cautious. My roof job by them isn‘t finished and we are coming up to 1 year runtime, and this isn‘t talking about workmanship (see the pic of the solar tunnel installation) or project management yet. Right now they do not answer my calls anymore, so might need to take it to court.

Hi Lydia, I can understand your frustration. We talked about this several months ago. I am more than happy to sign the certificate of completion(COC). Your insurance has already marked your claim completed and paid out. We sent them the final invoice in lieu of the COC. You can retrieve the COC from your insurance company. Send it to me and I will gladly sign it for you for your own records. If you have any questions or concerns, please call or email me. I am more than happy to help. I haven’t heard from you in several months. I hope you are enjoying your new roof! -Anthony

The installation team did a fantastic job on our home. The panels look great, and we've already noticed a difference in our energy costs.

Green Homes replaced my roof and installed 10.2KW of solar shingles, along with a whole home backup battery. Although the work took longer than expected, the delays were out of their control. Anthony, Winston, Rico, and team were professional and supportive throughout the project and did a top-notch job. I'm very happy with the result.

Exceptional Full Roof Replacement Experience with Green Homes Roofing & Solar** I recently had the pleasure of working with Green Homes Roofing & Solar for a full roof replacement at my home in Grosse Point Farms, Michigan, and I am beyond impressed with their service and quality of work. From the beginning, the team exhibited professionalism and a deep knowledge of roofing and solar solutions. Anthony, Rico, and Winston, who were part of the crew, showed an impressive level of skill and attention to detail. Their dedication to delivering top-quality work was evident in every aspect of the project. What stood out most was the fantastic job done by the supervisor. His ability to oversee the project with such efficiency and effectiveness ensured that everything ran smoothly and was completed on schedule. He was always available to answer any questions and kept me informed throughout the process. The crew's work ethic was remarkable. They arrived on time each day, worked diligently, and maintained a clean and organized work area. The end result was a beautifully installed roof that not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of my home but also increases its value and efficiency. I am particularly pleased with the sustainable aspect of the project. Choosing a company that prioritizes eco-friendly solutions is important to me, and Green Homes Roofing & Solar exceeded my expectations in this regard. I highly recommend Green Homes Roofing & Solar to anyone in need of roofing services. Their combination of expertise, customer service, and commitment to sustainability is a rare find. Thank you, Anthony, Rico, Winston, and the supervisor for an outstanding job!

Met with Rico during the inspection, he took photos of the existing roof, explained the products that they use and each step of the roof replacement, and left me with three written options for review, after receiving a couple of additional quotes, we decided to go with Green Homes Roofing and Solar, the price was fair they did a great job, and cleaned up all around the house when they finished, for me after researching the the difference in shingles offered by other companies I felt that Green Homes was using a better product. Would recommend them to friends, and family.

These guys are great! Winston and his crew are very hard-working, professional and they go above and beyond. Besides doing a great job of removing my solar panels, replacing my roof, and replacing the panels, Winston said he would change the color on a piece of flashing for us if we so choose. They were also very responsive and answered all of my questions and took care of anything I asked.

Great to work with on getting a quote. I ultimately decided to wait on getting solar panels for a later project so I didn't end up moving forward, but Rico was very responsive and was able to provide a quote quickly. Sometimes contractors really give you a whole 3hr (no joking) pitch about the company when you really just need the price to know if it is going to make sense. Appreciate they got right to the root of my needs and gave the information I needed along the way. Would recommend.

Great to work with & very responsive. From initial quote, gave very detailed numbers and estimates for multiple different price points. Answered all my questions before installation. During installation everyone was very professional. Winston & Rico provided pictures of before, during, & after. Also got a discount on my home insurance! I would highly recommend to anyone looking to get a new roof or needs roof or gutter repair.
