  needed a complete new roof and grc handled the whole thing. first visit they climbed up looked everything over and handed me an honest quote, no pressure at all. old roof was shot, worn shingles and a couple leaks starting. they got us scheduled within a couple weeks. crew arrived early on the start day and got right into the tear off. loud but fast, with the old roof down to the deck by midday. new roof started going on same day and looked clean right away. took about two days total. they kept me updated throughout and answered whatever i asked. finished roof looks sharp and the color matches the house nice. cleanup was thorough, swept the yard with a magnet for nails. been through rain lately and the attic is bone dry. real happy with how grc did on this one, took most of the stress out of a big job

  Roof leaked & shingles had curled everywhere so we knew it needed full replacing not just patching. GRC came out & confirmed it & slotted us in quickly. They pulled the old roof & laid the new one inside 4 days. Not one leak even through the soaking we took last week. Happy we did the full replacement !!

  GRC in Barrington did our roof and we're really pleased with the outcome. The crew was professional and efficient, finished in about two days which was actually quicker than they originally estimated. Wind rarely finds a flaw in the middle of a slope. It finds the fastening. Uplift concentrates at corners, rake edges, ridge caps and the two lowest courses above the gutter, and those are precisely the places where workmanship shows. A starter course run properly along both eave and rake. Nails placed in the nailing zone rather than high or low. Ridge caps fastened where the following cap covers the head.
