  If you see them STAY AWAY! THEY AGREE A PRICE WITH YOU TAKE YOUR 50% ONCE THE JOB IS COMPLETED THEY INCREASE THEIR PRICES WITHOUT YOUR KNOWLEDGE AND WHEN YOU ASK FOR PROOF THEY REFUSE TO PROVIDE IT AND SEND YOU TO COLLECTIONS, SO RATHER THAN THEM PROVING ME WRONG. I MADE THE MISTAKE OF WRITING THEM A GOOD REVIEW BECAUSE THEY WERE BEING NICE AND MADE IT SEEM LIKE THEY'RE WORKING WITH YOU,,BUT THE A WOLF IN SHEEPS CLOTHING THEY THREW THE BALL ON THIS ONE. DO NOT TRUST NONE OF THEM. I KNOW THEY WILL DENY THIS...BECAUSE THEY ARE KNOWN TO LIE TO GET YOUR BUSINESS AND LIE WHEN THEY'RE CALLED OUT. THEY ARE AS GREEDY AS THEY GET. MAKE SURE TO ASK FOR AN ITEMIZED QUOTE BECAUSE THEY WILL SNEAK NUMBERS. IF I RECALL THEY HAD TO CHANGE THEIR NAME BECAUSE OF THEIR UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES. STAY AWAY AND I STRONGLY BELIEVE IN KARMA, I SLEEP WELL AT NIGHT. EACH OF THEM WILL GET THEIR OWN KARMA, I WAS GOOD TO THEM, I JUST DON'T LIKE TO BE TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF, WHAT THEY DID IS NOT RIGHT, I HAVE THE PROOF AND A LAWYER WAS GOING TO TAKE MY CASE BUT IT COST MORE THAN THE MONEY THEY'RE STEALING FROM ME...BUT THE LAWYER ADVISED ME WHAT TO DO WITH BUSINESS LIKE THESE RUTHLESS FOLKS.. Update...it's funny how they lie about not having me as a customer in their comment below... that tells you their true character, STAY AWAY FROM THESE VULCHERS. I wish I can add pictures of proof here. Also make sure to go to yelp and Facebook they're are not a good company to work with, as I said unethical and ruthless.

We do not have any record of you as a customer in our system so I would like to do my best to respond without any specific detail regarding your specific issue. 1st Home Improvement deals with both insurance claims and retail customers and pride ourselves on our transparency. Any insurance work completed by 1st Home Improvement is completed based on the itemized estimate provided by your insurance carrier. Any price change that can occur between production and final invoice is for additional work that was required to complete to comply with code requirements. These items are submitted to your insurance carrier with supporting documentation to prove the work was completed prior to them releasing the funds, a new scope of work, and the customer receiving their invoice. Unfortunately, when working with an insurance claim every item is not covered prior to work commencing and additional documentation needs to be obtained and submitted during production in order to prove it was damaged. Retail projects are a lot more straightforward. We provide our estimate in full with all required items. Unlike insurance claims we do not opt into reusing any products that are not damaged so everything is included in the estimate upfront. I hope this clarifies any concerns you may have had.   Imagine this: a door-to-door salesman shows up all summer, ignoring our “No Soliciting” sign and our repeated statements that we’re not interested. Then, as if that’s not enough, they actually get our neighbor involved, asking them to text us their contact info. So now we have to tell our neighbor—again—that we’re not interested. But it still doesn’t end there. They come back and ring the doorbell again. Finally, I text the number myself to demand they stop immediately. Honestly, it’s beyond unprofessional, but it all makes sense after reading the BBB and Google reviews.

  This company is the biggest scam ever!!! Been going back and forth for over year and nothing is done besides got claim put on my insurance policy and my rate went up a lot . Just stay away from this company if u don’t want to get scam. I should know better when they ring the bell. Pls people stay away from storm chasing roofers. They are there for they own benefit by ripping people off.

  My experience with 1st Home Improvement was a little bit of a roller coaster. Unfortunately, there was some hiccups throughout the process but at the end of the day Sean and his team rectified the situation. That being said the roofers did an outstanding job their work was fast, efficient and just good quality work. Sean and Abraham are both great people to work with they do their best to answer any questions you may have and make you feel at ease. Also, Abraham has excellent skills in communication and polite throughout the whole process. Sean, is also a great person to work with he makes you feel like you have known for a longtime. I would recommend them to anyone. Their quality of work and service is unmatched. If you choose to hire them just know that you can’t do any better.

  1st Home Improvement replaced our roof and gutters a few weeks ago and we worked with Sean Nicoloson who helped us from initial roof and gutter inspection to final clean up process. All singles (GAF Timberline HDZ) and Velux Skylight arrived one day before the scheduled date. On scheduled date the crew arrived early in the morning and replaced the roof and skylights all in one day and after one day the came back to install new gutters. Quality of work performed by the crew members were above and beyond. I liked the way they used magnet sweepers to collect fallen nails. Thank you 1st Home Improvement and especially Sean Nicholoson.

  Every time I pull in my driveway, I smile. The new roof, siding, window trim, soffits, fascia, etc. all look wonderful. I was spending a great deal of money, and I was concerned about whether I was making the correct color choices, and Rey came out himself to look at what I picked and made suggestions about trim width, etc. . I appreciated his input and his ideas. Even if I had not been spending as much, I think he would have been happy to sit down with me and talk me through it. The process was coordinated very well, the work was done quickly, and the clean up was fantastic. I had a wonderful experience with this company and I recommend them to anyone looking for good work.

  Would highly recommend 1st Home Improvement! We worked with Ray the owner and he delivered on everything he had promised. Insurance went smoothly, Installation was quick and clean up was immaculate. They took extra care with our landscaping and even got our project done a month earlier than scheduled!

  1st Home Improvement helped me from start to finish with our insurance claim and we were able to get a new roof and siding covered due to hail damage. They guided me through the claim process and the job was superb. After a couple of years, one piece of window flashing came out of place, and though they didn't have to because the job was out of warranty, they came out and fixed the window flashing at no extra cost to me. Very pleased with this level of customer service.

  I couldn't be happier with the work done by First Home Improvement. I got siding, a new roof and gutters. The work was done quickly and efficiently. Remon, the owner came out to answer my questions. My home looks almost brand new and Ive gotten compliments from the neighbors. I won't hesitate to use First Home Improvement for my next project.

  First Home Improvement replaced my roof, siding, gutters and downspouts. They handled the project from start to finish very professionally and in a timely manner. Ray was on site often checking to make sure everything was perfect, and delivered exactly what he promised to deliver. The quality of work was fantastic, down to every last detail. You can tell that the crew was highly experienced and took pride in their work. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have exterior work done.
