  I had a very disappointing experience with Holda Construction Roofing and Siding. I was asked by the owner Mariusz to send pictures of my project, which I did promptly — but after that, I never heard back. I followed up multiple times via text and phone calls, but received no response at all. This lack of communication and follow-through is unprofessional and frustrating. If you're looking for a reliable contractor who respects your time, I would look elsewhere.

  We contacted Mariusz to reside our house. He was very responsive to our initial call and said that we should have an estimate shortly. After several weeks without any communication, we reached out again to see if the estimate was forthcoming. After almost a week, he contacted us and apologized for the delay adding that he was very busy with the recent storm damage in the area. We let him know that we understood, but we needed the numbers to secure financing for the project. He thanked us for working with him and that we should expect the estimate shortly. It’s been another several weeks without any communication. I’m concerned that the lack of communication could extend to “what if we have an issue” scenario. He appeared to be competent, and I would have been very interested in his estimate, but we must move on.

As we discussed, you contacted us at a time we were incredibly busy due to the damage many were experiencing from the windstorm that hit our area, and while I tried to address your issue promptly, I simply could not make a quick turnaround time on your quote due to being needed on those existing jobs. I understood from you that you had several quotes already for your project and existing contractors you work with, so did not understand the urgency of your interest with us. This is entirely on me, and I do apologize for not getting back to you promptly. I try to be very transparent with our schedule and timeline, especially during busy season, but see how we missed expectations here. In order to be transparent, I wanted to give you an overview of our process so there isn’t any confusion. Following a phone call, we do ask prospective clients to provide us with photos of the area they’d like to work on in order to get a better idea of how we can help them. After reviewing this information we will call you again to provide you with a ballpark-free estimate. This is a rough number as we have not been on-site, but it’s the best way we can be sure we are on the same page as our clients so we don’t waste anyone’s time. If our pricing aligns with your budget we will schedule an on-site consultation and inspection for $300. After this consultation, we can provide detailed feedback with a written Proposal. If you decide to move forward with us the $300 consultation fee will come off the total Contract cost.   Update, after my last posting Maurice at Holda construction called about five or six times to try to make the situation better. I was not going to respond but ended up calling him back as I felt he was being sincere. I appreciated him reaching out HOWEVER after he came out to take a look at the roof, again we still received no invoice and after two or three weeks my husband had to call to see if we could receive an invoice. Again weeks went by with no invoice! Stay away from this company because they have zero respect for their ‘clients’. once we finally got an invoice...well it was more than double the cost of several of their companies that came out. Not sure what type of game they’re playing but I would suggest staying away. We had Holda redo our entire roof two years ago. We’ve had leaking issues and tons of nail pops and called in February to address the issue that caused major interior damage. I never blamed them and asked if they could come take a look to give an estimate for repairs. I had no intention of anything being done for free, although I’m sure it was still under some type of warranty. Well here we are 8 months later... many runs around texts/calls that they’d come out but never showed up. I flat out asked if they would let me know if they were interested because the issues needed to be addressed and Maurise promised me he’d come out because he felt so bad at how we were treated. We scheduled an inspection the next day but no one showed. They still have not contacted me since. Stay away because if anything goes wrong they don’t care.

  Our experience with Holda Construction was fantastic, Mariusz and his wife are a pleasure to deal with and very professional. My elderly mother needed her roof replaced and they were very helpful with the process. The team of installers were there on time and got the job done quickly. Being in customer service jobs most of my life I appreciate good service, and they delivered it. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality work at a fair price.

  TRUST. For most of us, home improvement projects can be overwhelming. TRUST is a critical factor in choosing the right partner. Mariusz did an excellent job of laying out our options and was available to answer any and all questions. His team is very professional and the workmanship is top notch (and completed on time…which is rare). This is a professional, well run company you can trust with your roofing and siding needs.
