  Hi Ariana, thank you for the feedback, and we're sorry to hear you're frustrated. We want to be clear for the record: when the leak was reported, we responded immediately. The roof leak at this property was fully repaired, and we also handled the interior restoration, including painting, cleaning, and carpet, at no additional cost. Our contract and 5-year workmanship warranty are with the homeowner of record on this project, and even so, we stepped up and took care of everything. At this point, there is no remaining work on this claim. To anyone reading this review: we did everything possible to make this right, and we stand behind every roof we install. We can't please everyone, but our track record of 5-star reviews reflects our commitment to standing by our work and our warranty. If anything new comes up, our office is always happy to take a look.

  Another company who ignores a "no soliciting" sign for the books! And then he had the nerve to say, "oops, did we miss that." So disappointing....and my camera recorded it all! Police have been alerted.

  I am extremely disappointed with GP Roofing & Construction. They replaced my roof in January 2023, and after the recent rain, I discovered a major leak coming from the exact area their sales rep photographed and claimed was repaired with “a new piece of wood.” That spot is now leaking directly into my master bedroom, causing interior damage. What makes this worse is the complete lack of communication. I have called multiple times, left voicemails, and have received zero response. This roof is still under warranty, yet the company is ignoring all attempts to get help. It is very concerning that either the repair was never done or was done poorly, and now I’m left dealing with damage and no support from the company that installed the roof. I expected professional workmanship and customer service, and unfortunately GP Roofing & Construction has delivered neither. I am now escalating the issue through the BBB and other channels. I do not recommend this company based on my experience.

  *Update in response to company’s reply* Called and spoke with Maribel, it was your company. Company does not comply with signage. When asked they stated they were in compliance and registered with the city’s solicitor permit program. I asked if they were and the company representative stated they were. I asked why was he here he stated to offer a free service which is not soliciting. They left before code enforcement arrived. Code enforcement was local police officer who stated that they were out of compliance. Even free service is considered solicitation. Do not do business with companies that lie like this. We have 2 roofing company signs in our yard, our roof is clearly marked from our roofer and insurance company. I had to ask the guy to leave my property. RUN from any predatorial roofing company like this.

  Please be conscientious of too many positive and pleased reviews. Overall the owner of this company is exceedingly unprofessional and condescending in response. Mike will have to learn the hard and unfortunate way that the manner in which you treat your customers and employees will eventually greatly affect your business model. Good luck! You need it. Find a different roofing company and save yourself the heartache of a dealing with an unprofessional and lackluster company.

  I’m very pleased with the work that Mike and his crew did on my property! His knowledge and insight into our specific set of circumstances was invaluable! He was no nonsense and honest about everything he initiated with us! His ability to interface with our insurance company was first rate. His knowledge of his craft and trade left no doubt that he knew what he was talking about Made things very clear and understandable for us and I would highly recommend them to anybody in need of roofing and complementary work that goes along with it. I will definitely put the word out to my neighbors about this company. Once again, we had a first race experience and will use them in the future for any type of roofing or home improvement that they are capable of doing. I don’t give out endorsements or anything like that as a rule because people will come back to me Real fast if the work or if the service is not tolerating or what they expected. People trust me with their Lives and value my opinion so I am not quick to give great endorsements. But this is one time I will definitely say that Michael Barr and his group are stand up guys and do what they say they’re going to do. I’m very pleased with what they have accomplished on my property. 👍🏽

  Michael and GP Roofing was great from start to finish. Very knowledgeable of the insurance process and helped me navigate everything for smoothly. They were fast and efficient with the removal and replacement of the roof, and cleanup after was immaculate, you couldn't tell they were even there.   If these guys show up at your door, it would behoove you to give them your attention. Mike is a class act. He and his team took total control of handling our insurance company during a roof replacement. If it weren't for these guys, we would be in the hole tens of thousands of dollars. Instead, we paid next to nothing. Furthermore, a month after the project was concluded, we had a leak in our chimney that was causing water damage on our drywall. It should be noted that the chimney had nothing to do with the roofing project. This was not their problem to fix. I texted Mike at 10:30pm the moment I noticed the leak. He had a team out on our roof first thing in the morning, and had it immediately repaired. Mike, himself, even came on-site to make sure the repair was done properly. Honest and hard-working people are rare. These folks are a blessing.

  John Weatherly, our contractor with GP Construction, is the absolute best! He is an expert in recognizing roof hail damage. When our insurance company drug their feet on our claim, he stuck with us and continued to contact us weekly to keep us updated on progress being slowly made. Through his tireless efforts we now have a beautiful new roof! GP’s crew was prompt, polite, hardworking and made sure everything was done as expected from start to finish. We highly recommend John and GP Construction for anyone needing a new roof and gutter replacement!
