  I’ve hired Golden Roofing and Construction twice, and after my second experience, I strongly advise anyone considering them to look elsewhere. The first job was a minor leak fix on a flat roof commercial building, which was handled fine. However, the second project—involving two separate roof leaks—was an absolute nightmare. - Overquoting & Constant Complaining: The owner, Alexander Mercado, tried to drastically overquote the job while constantly nagging about the roof’s condition and the cost of materials. - Incomplete Flat Roof Repair: The flat section required pressure washing, embedding roofing fabric, and applying two coats of elastomeric coating. It took several visits just to get this portion addressed. - Failed Sloped Roof "Repair": To patch the roofing membrane on the sloped section, Alexander attempted to use sealing masking tape and small screws to hold it up. Unsurprisingly, this makeshift fix completely failed within a couple of weeks. - Zero After-Sales Support: As soon as he collected final payment, Alexander completely stopped responding to text messages and returning phone calls regarding the failed repair. I am currently in the process of filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau for a partial refund of the payment. We'll see the result. This has been one of the worst experiences I’ve had with a contractor. Take a close look at the photos (before and after) of his work before you think about hiring this company. Beware! Limited TPO repair" doesn't excuse using masking tape and small screws on a sloped roof membrane—a temporary "fix" that completely failed in less than two weeks. Calling that acceptable workmanship on a paid job is unbelievable. Regarding your claim of "continued communication," stopping all replies to texts and phone calls as soon as final payment was collected is not support; it’s ghosting. I am moving forward with my BBB complaint to seek a refund for the failed work, and I will let the documentation and photos

  After you get beyond the startling realization that your home requires a major repair comes the tough questions and critical research on assuring you get a professional, experienced, knowledgeable, certified contractor who not only appreciates your concerns but commits and succeeds in surpassing those expectations. It's your family home and you want it sound, safe and secure for years to come. I talked to multiple contractors who weren't able to cure my skepticism. We've all heard horror stories from homeowners about disappointing major home projects. Golden Roofing provided the assurances I sought and expected. I trusted them with my home and they absolutely delivered at every level. Thanks Kevin and thank your team for the high professional standards and excellent customer service delivered throughout the process. At the end of the day people just want to be satisfied with the integrity of any valued investment. This company was respectful, reliable and responsible. I guess that's why they call it 'Golden'!! Thanks again.

  Golden Roofing did an amazing job with my roof. I live in Central GA where we have a lot of roofing companies. The customer service and pricing from was truly unbeatable. I would recommend to everyone, new roof, go to Golden Roofing. You will not be disappointed.

  I had a great experience with them. They inspected my property and was able to get me a new roof to my insurance. I was nervous because I didn’t wanna have to deal with the insurance company, but they took care of everything for me.. 10/10 would recommend!
