The crew tore off my roof during a rainstorm and did not properly cover the roof resulting in significant damage to the rafters, attic floor, and garage. They removed the chimney and left a noticeable dip where it used to be. The cost was …

Hello Jason, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We truly value our customers and always aim to complete every project with transparency and quality workmanship. We would like to respectfully clarify the sequence of events regarding your concerns. First, regarding the slight depression in the roof where the chimney was removed: this occurred at the transition between the garage structure and the main house. After the work was completed, your brother—who owns a roofing inspection company—personally inspected the area. He confirmed that the condition was related to the original structural framing and not the result of our workmanship. Second, concerning the final price: the cost difference was due to additional materials that were required once the roof was opened ( as explained, we cannot quote on materials that we cannot see when they are under the roof layer). Specifically, 25 sheets of plywood had to be replaced, along with fascia repairs. These items were clearly documented and approved as part of the contract before the work was completed. Third, regarding the ridge vent on the garage: the garage does not have an attic space and does not contain drywall or insulation—it is an open garage. According to building code standards, ridge ventilation is only required for insulated attic spaces. For this reason, a ridge vent was not installed in that section. However, if ventilation had been requested for the garage specifically, we would have been happy to install it. We always strive to communicate clearly and complete our work according to code and the signed agreement. We sincerely regret that the experience led to frustration, as our team worked to address the project professionally and in accordance with industry standards. If you feel comfortable doing so, we kindly ask that you reconsider or remove the review, as we believe the work performed and the decisions made followed the agreed scope and proper roofing practices. Edgar and his team did an excellent job replacing my roof, replacing the skylights and addressing various patches of rot in the roof. Very transparent on all the work, pricing and great communication. Highly recommend.

I appreciated how straightforward the entire process was. No confusing explanations, no surprise charges, and no last-minute changes. The crew worked hard from morning until evening and made sure the property was cleaned before leaving. It felt like they genuinely cared about the quality of the final result.

It's hard to find quality workmanship, at affordable prices, who responds quickly to complete a job, and leaves the work site clean. Thank you Edgar for getting the job done so quickly, and keeping me in the loop even though I was out of the State.

Edgar did some repairs on my TPO roof and he did a great job. He spent extra time checking other areas of my roof and fixed places that needed it. It was clear he cares about his work and customer satisfaction. Thank you Gold Roofing!

We needed our roof replaced thanks to an inspection. We contacted Gold Roofing and had a great experience. We needed to replace our entire roof and two layers of damaged sheeting. The Gold team worked long days to get a tough job done before the next rains moved in. Professional. Timely. Amazing work ethic. I highly recommend them.

We had a leaking bath vent in our roof. Gold roofing was recommended by a friend and Edgar responded immediately to provide a bid. Once we engaged, he was very good with communication about the fee, the scope of work and when it would be done. Overall, we are very happy with the work and will use them again in the future.

Edgar at Gold Roofing was very patient in explaining the options to clean my roof & gutters as well as repairing damaged shingles. His team showed up at the agreed upon time & they were very professional & courteous in spite of some terrible weather we had that day. I asked for the moss to be brushed instead of using chemicals & they readily complied. I'm glad my neighbor referred me to Gold Roofing.
