I would NEVER recommend George for anything let alone a roof fix!!! The single most unreliable contractor i have ever had the displeasure of using. He was highly recommended to us but please take my advice and don't waste your time as the guy is a total jerk as well!!!

George Did my roof, 6"'gutters, new attic fan and skylight in 2019. I recently noticed my gutter was pulled away from the roof by my downspout. The hard winter snow and ice damming stressed the gutters. I called George and he came and checked and reset all the gutters. I asked him to send me a bill he told me "Don't worry about it" Thanks George

George and his crew did an excellent job after the previous roofer left my roof exposed after walking off the job. George and his crew worked hard in the rain and finished the job promptly. They cleaned up thoroughly and I’m very happy with them.

I hired George McCombe to put a new roof on for me. Ok from the first conversation it was a positive response. George came out himself to appraise the job. He then wrote up the proposal with the price ( by the way you not going to get a …

Honest. Affordable. Prompt. Skilled. Concerned. Friendly. Just the first few words that come to mind when I think of my experience with George E. McCombe Roofing. If you have roofing needs, I would highly recommend using them. It'll be the last time you worry about your roof.

Where this page comes from
Every figure above is Google’s, captured on 24 September 2026. The star average and the 11 ratings behind it are counted by Google across all of its reviews. The review text on this page is a sample — we hold 11, of which 11 have any text — and it is not everything Google shows.
Roof Warden does not verify licenses, bonds, insurance or workers’ compensation cover, and nothing on this page should be read as though we had. Confirm those directly with the contractor and with your state or provincial licensing body before you hire anyone.
There is not much data on George E Mccombe Roofing. A short record here means our capture found little — not that there is nothing to find, and not that the business is new or inactive.
