  the reviews for this company are great I need a new roof so I got and appt. for estimate. No different then all the others they give you a high price then they say if you sign up today you get 30- 40 % off to let us use your house for advertising but it's only good for today. They try to make you think you're getting this great deal. I don't respond to high pressure tactics. Keep in mind you never get a piece of paper with an estimate. Don't waste your time.

  It is incredibly frustrating to be bombarded with reminders only to have the company ghost you when it actually matters. I scheduled an appointment with Gator Metal Roofing and received multiple emails and texts confirming the date/time. Despite the constant "reminders," they never showed up. When I followed up 15 minutes after the scheduled time, the contact person told me I had to reach out to the company directly. Turns out they outsource their scheduling to a third party that has no real connection to the installers. After hunting down answers, and finally getting ahold of someone they said they’ll look into it and call me back. 40 minutes later they finally call back just to ask if they can reschedule. This is a massive red flag. If a company can’t handle the simple logistics of a sales appointment, I certainly don't trust them with a high-stakes task like a roof replacement. Save yourself the headache and find someone more professional.

  My roof started leaking at 11 months old and I can't get any response from Gator Metal Roofing with regard to honoring my warranty. How's that for wasted money

  If I could give zero star I would . The lady who we made an appointment with was nice. Made the appointment and made sure owner of house was there since we rent. We were out of town. Gus, showed up an hour early, (not okay), when we told him the owner was on the way, although he came an hour early, we asked him to wait 15 minutes. When the owner got there, Gus had already left. During the conversation on the phone with Gus, he was extremely rude. I have never had someone act so rude. When we told him we were wanting quotes only, he said that he already had the paperwork to begin financing and to begin the project. He also rudely said this is gator metal roofing and that they do only metal although in our appointment, we requested for shingles as well.last but not least, we are glad he left because we will never give a dime to this company that hired a contractor so rude.

  Gator Metal Roofing placed an advertisement on our property. When I called to ask them to refrain from doing so in the future, they hung up on me. This is not a local company and obviously they don't care about the community with their trashy, plastic signs used for guerilla marketing. Call one of our many fine roofing companies. I suggest Best Buy Metals as a good place to start with materials and qualified installer referrals.

  Signed a contract for a replacement of our metal accent roof sections, gave a 50% deposit, and was instructed by the salesman to have the old metal roof and the deck boards underneath removed before the arrival of their install crew. Too many issues between the start and finish of this botched and then canceled job to detail here, but in the end the install crew arrived to tell us that the the smaller sections of the metal roof could not be replaced because it was laid underneath some stone on the returns of the gables. And they didn’t have a color that would match the section that they had us remove such that we could only redo that section. And then the installer left, but later came back and informed us that the store manager had told him that he would be fired if he didn’t attempt to install the roof! He said he could not in good conscience destroy my home and cause leaking by doing the installation in a faulty manner. Why did the sales guy not know this would be an issue? Why did the measure guy not know this would be an issue? Why did the office manager when I called him about it after another roofing company suggested that it might be a problem, did he not come out and look at it but only said “I hope they wouldn’t have started the job if it couldn’t be done”. So there we were - no roof on the larger section that they had instructed us to remove the metal roof in order to replace the decking! We had to run to Beacon roofing supply to buy roofing materials in an urgent crisis AND find a roofer to lay shingles down on that roof section THAT SAME DAY! I would never use this company for anything other than a house with nothing other than metal roofing. Incompetence from the top to the bottom abounds at this company. The owner is invisible and not involved at all! Never did we get an apology and nothing but excuses. We at least did get our deposit money back, but now we have a patched roof as I had to put shingles where we once had a metal roof. If we

  Amen for this company who came to the rescue before our hurricane season really gets started!! The Bronze color choice was a wonderful choice from the rep. Mike . Apparently it was a winner! Neighbors have commented on color and the metal roof look over shingles.
