The critical reviews
The one and two-star reviews, first. These are what a star average hides, and they are the reason this page exists.
We hold no one or two-star review text for Garlands Roofing. That is not the same as there being none — it means our capture did not reach any. The rating breakdown above is Google’s own count and is the number to go on.
What reviewers keep mentioning
Topics Google extracted from this business’s reviews, with how many mention each. These are words that appeared in reviews, which is not the same as a service the business sells.

Garlands roofing is a great small business roofer. They do quality work and use great shingles. He stands by his work and has a good crew of workers. Call him and he will give you a quick and fair estimate.

Garland Pitsenbarger is one of the best Roofers in Harrisonburg Va / Rockingham County. I recommend Garland Pitsenbarger as a Roofer as He does Free - Estimates. He helped me and got a crew out to let me know what was needed. Garland was prompt to answer back. He and His crew are all honest and hard-working.

He gave us a high quality roof for a great price. Highly recommend especially in the Belmont Estates neighborhood.
What Garlands Roofing says about itself
Taken from the business’s own website. We have not checked any of it. These are quotes, not credentials — a roofer writing “licensed and insured” on their homepage is not evidence that they are.

Where this page comes from
Every figure above is Google’s, captured on 24 September 2026. The star average and the 8 ratings behind it are counted by Google across all of its reviews. The review text on this page is a sample — we hold 8, of which 6 have any text — and it is not everything Google shows.
Roof Warden does not verify licenses, bonds, insurance or workers’ compensation cover, and nothing on this page should be read as though we had. Confirm those directly with the contractor and with your state or provincial licensing body before you hire anyone.
There is not much data on Garlands Roofing. A short record here means our capture found little — not that there is nothing to find, and not that the business is new or inactive.
