  Just like a previous post from another person, I regret hiring Forest City Roofing to install my roof. We have had nothing but headaches from dealing with this company. The workmanship was extremely poor, and after the installation was done there were many deficiencies with the roof. So far, they have had to come out on five different occasions and the roofing issues still exist. The company initially repeatedly denied that there were any issues with the roof. They sent their person who does the final inspection of their jobs and he stated that the workers did an "excellent job." Then the owner came out to inspect the job his workers did, and he said that the job was clean and concise and that the work was done with attention to detail. Nothing could be further from the truth, and they only changed their opinion after we hired an independent roofing contractor to inspect the roof. The inspector verified that there were several deficiencies with the roof. The company neglected several terms in our contract. They did not replace the drip edge, they did not use ice and water barrier on the entire roof. As well as these issues, they also improperly installed the ridge cap, incorrectly installed three valleys, and they neglected to use underlay on the entire roof. I would not recommend this company to anyone!

  Sadly regretting my choice to have Forest City install my roof. The whole process was very messy, communication was extremely poor as was the workmanship. Workers urinated in my yard, left gaping holes on my front lawn from their machines and their clean-up was below mediocre. I myself found over 25 nails post clean up and even ended up with a flat tire. They smashed one of my windows during install, it took them over a week and a half to replace (they are a window company as well) They needed to be called out multiple times for their poor workmanship and it took them over a month to complete the job. The owner’s follow-up was extremely poor and almost non existent. I paid a premium price and cash to boot and I’m left feeling completely and utterly ripped off. I’m really not looking forward to have to contact them for WHEN something else goes wrong with the roof. It’s unfortunate because I’m in the process of restoring an older home and am in need of windows, doors, and eavestroughs, to which none will be installed or purchased through Forest City. They’ve lost my business, save yourself the headache there’s better options out there.

  They use a financer that is unethical and place a lien on your home for a $5000 roof job. never was I told about this. A business should ensure their fionancers are ethical and at minimal, provide all the details prior to signing you up.

  Didn’t use this company but there driving is horrible almost cause an accident. Will definitely not be using this company for my roofing needs.

  One of your drivers came down our residential street in Old South going about 70km/hr at about 5:50 today. Children live and play here! If you roof as recklessly as you drive I hope you wear a rock climbing harness

  This company told me my job was not big enough to get an estimate. I ssked to speak to manager to clarify. He refused to answer my questions and said goodbye and went to hang up when I told him I would not be going with them even though we were still in a conversation.

  I had an incredible experience with Forest City Roofing! I dealt with one of the owners, Jamie, along with his employee Dan, and the level of service was top-notch from start to finish. When my office ceiling started leaking, Jamie prioritized the repair immediately. You can truly tell how much he genuinely cares about his customers -he was thorough, constantly followed up on the progress, and made sure everything was handled right. Dan took his time with the fix, and the quality of his work was evident; nothing was rushed or brushed over. They are even coming back to follow up and ensure all potential animal entry points are fully secured. Even though I am a tenant and my landlord hired them, Jamie still gave me his card and encouraged me to reach out directly if any other concerns came up. Roof repairs can be stressful, costly, and completely unexpected. Working in customer experience myself, I deeply value people who operate with true integrity, work hard, and prioritize their customers - and that is exactly what you get with Forest City Roofing. Five-star service, highly knowledgeable, and fantastic people. I cannot recommend them enough!

  Forest City Roofing is currently serving our condo complex. An issue came up in our unit, and all I can say about their customer service, working ethics, and professionalism is that they are second to none. We will always be thankful with FCR and will certainly bring our business to them in the future.

  Forest City Roofing came highly recommended by my best friend and now I completely understand why. From my very first call with Sheila, to coordinating details with Natasha and Katarina, every interaction was friendly, professional, and genuinely pleasant. My meeting with Jamie was what really stood out. Replacing a roof is a major investment, and yet I felt so comfortable with his approach that I made my decision during the meeting which is something I've never done before. What impressed me most was that he never once pressured me for the sale. When I asked why, he simply said he was confident in the value they offered and wanted me to make the decision that was right for me. On installation day, the crew arrived on time, worked hard all day, and completed the project in a single day. Jamie even stopped by to ensure everything was going smoothly and investigated a concern about a possible missing bathroom vent. It turned out everything was fine, but I truly appreciated the care and attention. By 5 p.m., the roof was complete and the cleanup was so thorough that my son commented, "It's as if they were never here." The roof looks absolutely gorgeous, and we're so glad we followed Jamie's colour recommendation. If you're looking for superior customer service, honesty, professionalism, and exceptional value, I cannot recommend Forest City Roofing enough. Thank you to the entire Forest City family for making this such a stress-free experience.

  I spoke to Sheila about getting a new roof. She was amazing and so helpful. I had some missing shingles and was worried about leaks from rain as I have to wait a bit to get my roof replaced. The very next day Jamie pulled into my driveway, checked out the roof and because of him I got the missing shingles replaced for now. Wow they really take care of their customers. I'm so grateful not to have to worry about a leaking roof now Thank you so much Jamie and Dan. I would recommend Forest City Roofing to any one needing a new roof. They care!!!

  Forest city roofing did an excellent job with our roof. They stand by their warranty. We recently had some bad weather that damaged areas of our house. Forest city roofing sent Jamie out to do a full inspection. Jamie went above and beyond with his inspection and we truly appreciate him and Forest city roofing.

  Great company with a strong focus on customer service. They came back 1 year after my roof was installed to do a repair on the roof from an unrelated construction job. They did not even charge me for it. Thanks very much for the great service!

  I had some damage to my roof that had been replaced in 2014 after that BIG storm. Even though it has been 12 years since they replaced my roof, they came out right away, accessed the damage and repaired it asap. Very professional and friendly.

  Each level from the initial inquiry, assessment, sales to the completion of roofing work was responded professionally and timely. Jamie provided an honest assessment including pointing out the problem areas of our house roof. He even presented a video of the completed work. And the crew was hard-working, showing the quality of their craftsmanship in the final work and the care taken throughout the clean-up process. I would highly recommend!

  Forest city roofing is a great company to deal with. They will give you a timely estimate and job time. They do great work in both roofing and windows. I would definitely reccomend!
