  I had the worst experience with this company they broke roof tiles and when I called the office I talk to a woman called zulema she was insulting rude and unprofessional beware I ask to speak to the owner or her boss she hung up on me never ever use them

  If I could give a ZERO star review, I would. My grandfather had a large section of his property weather-sealed by this company and on the contract it said it had a 7 year warranty. It has been 2 years since the work was completed and I called to have someone take look at the work done as there was a large amount of water leaking into one of the tenants' units in the property. I had my contractor go up on the roof to show their technicians what the problem was and even Florida Roof Tech's workers admitted to my contractor that the job was not done correctly. When I tried to speak to the person in customer service and explain the issue, she told me that the contract was with my grandfather and not me (even though my name is stated on the contract as I am the co-owner of the property) and that they couldn't do anything about. I had my contractor call them with me on the phone and the person who handled the call from Florida Roof Tech was the RUDEST and most OBNOXIOUS person I've ever heard. Their levels of customer service are so low it's subterranean. Their customer service person was YELLING in the ear of my contractor and berated him on the phone. Do yourself a favor, STAY AWAY from this company at all costs. They are a bunch of crooks and the so called "guaranteed work" they offer is not worth the paper it's printed on.

  Hi Daniel, We are very surprised as to your review and your comments. We take our work and our clients seriously and value them all. In reference to your comments: Our initial work that we completed approximately 2 years ago on your grandfather’s property was just to seal the flat roof portion only that was built adjacent to the original roof of the property. When we went out to inspect as to where the current leak(s) were taking place from we explained in detail to everyone including your contractor that the current leak was not coming in from the flat roof we sealed but was coming in from the adjacent original roof of the property in which we never performed any previous repairs or work on. We also explained to your contractor that when the flat roof was built adjacent to the property’s original roof, it was not done properly where the flat roof meets the original properties roof as to why the current leaks were taking place. We never stated at any moment our work was done improperly but that the original flat roof development was done improperly. This is the reason why the warranty that applies to your flat roof we sealed for you approximately 2 years ago does not apply to the property’s original roof. In conclusion we always strive to deliver high quality service to all our clients. We wish you all the best.

  This is a preliminary review as we are trying to resolve a 293% increase in the estimated wood requirements price for our roof replacement. We choose Florida Roof-Tech after seeing mostly positive reviews and one of my neighbors gave them a favorable review as well. We checked them out online gave them a call and they came and provided an estimate ~$18,700 for our 2,553 SqFt shingle roof. Not the best price around but considering the reviews, time in business and a professional presentation we went with it. All was good until we get towards the end and receive an extra charge of $4,309 for wood and flashing. Although the contract refers to extra wood and other charges. Their initial estimate was off by $3,214 or 293%! That's a lot of wood. The estimate calculated ~$1,095 of wood. How can they be so far off on the wood/price? They came to the property and inspected it. They were given full access to the roof, did they do a poor inspection? Was it a bait and switch? I don't know as of today. Hopefully we can get this resolved and I will post the outcome.

  Hi Angel, in reviewing the details of your review we are very surprised and somewhat confused. The roofing contract we have was made with Mrs. Catalina Garrote and we reviewed and explained the contract agreement in detail. We explained in detail that we give the first 300 linear ft. of wood replacement at no cost. Since prior to removing the roof for replacement we cannot visually see all the wood and any possible additional damaged and/or rotten wood that needs to be replaced above and beyond 300 linear ft. Once we removed the roof and discovered additional damaged/rotten wood on your roof in excess of 300 linear ft. we took pictures, called Mrs.Catalina Garrote and explained it to her with the additional cost involved in details and offered the pictures as evidence and proof. Furthermore; Mrs. Catalina Garrote understood after we demonstrated the additional damaged/rotten wood. I feel this may be a typical mis-understanding and/or mis-communication and respectfully we feel writing a review for the possibility of negotiating is not the appropiate avenue to take being we are and have been complying by the roofing agreement.   Today I saw a company truck crash into the bollard at Chic Fil A and then take the turn and almost hit me and when he tried to leave the facility, still couldn’t pull out of the parking lot without backing up to straighten out. I advised the employees to watch out since something is clearly wrong with his driving skills. And at the next light he was sweet enough to roll down his window and yell at me if I had a problem with him. Not sure if this is your owner or an employee. But not a good look for your business.

  I got a quote from this company for a new roof. We must have been having two different conversations. I wanted a quote for a metal roof, and what was sent to me was a quote for a shingle roof. A single line with only a total for the metal roof was included, no particular information pertaining to the difference of installing a metal roof. I pointed numerous times to the metal roof across the street from my home and said that’s what I want.

  Read the fine prints, IF A LITTLE STORM PASSES BY YOU HAVE NO WARRANTY...I was told all roofing companies do the same, well I just need a leak fixed and I just wanted them to fix it knowing that I had to pay. I called 3 time and never got them to come. I’m looking for a roofing company to fix the work they did.

We went ahead and explained to you that the roof warranty was voided after we experience any type of hurricane. I understand this may had made you a little frustrated but this is an industry wide standard and roof warranty condition, regardless of what company would have repalced your roof. Regardless, we offered to speak to the owner in order to send someone to see the extent of the repairs needed to see how we can assist you in order to remedy your situation.   I called Fla Roof-Tech on Thursday 3/16/2017 and set and appointment for Tuesday 3/21/2017 at 1:00 PM. On Friday I received a call from a salesman telling me that he was in the area and if he could go by in the next 20 minutes. I was not at the property and I told him so but he insisted, I agree and called my son and asked him to be at the property, 40 minutes later no one did show up or called to cancel, The following day I called the company and complained and they told me they will send someone else the next day. Peter Pino did show up as scheduled but never did go on the roof for measurements and left after some small talk but promising he will send a estimate that afternoon. On Tuesday 3/28/2017 4 days later I had to call the company for the estimate. This company seems to be very loose with appointments and estimates and after reading some of the bad reviews in Yelp, BBB and other websites I decided I will not do business with them.

  Thank you Florida Roof Tech! This company responded with a quote and fast delivery on a specialized inspection which was time sensitive. I reached out to multiple companies that were not willing to do the work or quoted astronomical rates for the work needed. Inspections done and we can move on. Appreciate the support!

  I was waiting for this moment for a long time, but I also knew that they were going to be the ones ( Florida Roof-Tech)my dream come true. I had my brother and mother as a reference they did it with them too, they're also very happy. Marcial and his team are nothing but professionals, down here in Miami its hard to find .From the time of giving you a quote to finishing the job. My experience was unique since the beginning. I'm not an easy person when I have to pick, they help me to choose the tile and be able to see it in person, it was so easy like that. It really took a week and a half to finish it, the whole process was smooth, without stress, they took care of all the cleaning, it seems like nothing was happening. Great experience. Honest, transparent, punctual and friendly. Thank you!
