  Hello Lisa. Appreciate you letting us know about this incident. There is alot going on and some times with so many calls we are dealing with maybe an explanation may not be clear. Because we had not gone out to see the property we have no idea of the damage and the amount of roof needing tarping. We are actually doing mostly repairs instead of tarping so that clients dont have to worry about a tarp ripping while they wait for a new roof. Tarping has definitely gone up in price due to many economy factors with inflation but also because we are running alot of our trucks and crews from Miami due to Ft Myers warehouse being closed at the moment. This brings up cost also. Now the $3000 price you are referring to is usually the max cost of tarping a very complex roof which may require polyurethane materials and possible supports due to loss of plywood. We are running into this alot. We would truly need to see the property to give a proper quote but when someone just asks how much it is we usually say a range which includes about a $3000 dollar max for tarping and repairs. Also we work mostly with insurance claims and we bill directly to insurance company which helps our clients alot to not come out of pocket but keep in mind we are incurring material and labor costs and have to wait for insurance payment.   This review has little to do with the actual work of the business, but speaks on behalf of the company. On 8/2/23, approximately 2:40pm, a company vehicle driving on I-75 in Naples towards Miami was not only speeding, but driving hazardously. The vehicle got so close to my car at 75mph, then passed me and swerved everyone else. I tried to catch up to get the company name but they were driving over 95mph. I was able to decipher the phone number and the logo matched. Putting others lives at risk it’s not worth it, employees should be properly trained on how all aspects of their behavior have an effect on behalf of the organization and company.

  Good Luck getting them to do repairs on your roof once its goes out of warranty. And guess what they even throw your file away once the warranty expires as per the owner GEO Geo ( the owner) who came to see the project after multiple calls to schedule an appointment and rain cancellation. He said I know your roof and don't need to go up on the roof . So why cancel two prior appt due to rain. Anyways after looking at the work he said my best option was to replace my roof WHAT !!!! my roof is only 6 years old. I am sure people have different experiences but mine wasn't pleasant and so i had to write this just to make the management aware of his attitude. Bad customer service and bad attitude is how your bring the name of your company down.

  It is unfortunate that customers turn to bad reviews when things don't go their way. You had a 5 year warranty, that is what was paid for and through a contractor that is not A1. We were the sub contractor on the job, this is why the file is not kept after warranty, because your true file and paperwork is with the Contractor you hired. Also you as the customer are given a close out packet with all your warranty paperwork and paid invoices, as well as releases of liens, which you too should have kept and were unable to produce. The prior appointments were canceled due to rain because we were sending out our repair team. Since you called everyday complaining about the rescheduling, the owner himself offered to go since he was close by on another job site and he was familiar with the job. You were explained that your warranty was expired and that we charge a $350 assessment fee, which you did not pay nor did Geo charge you. Why not mention that??? The fact that he arrived and you had nothing nice to say from the get about the company; fully knowing that the world is going through some very difficult times and finding a full staff these days anywhere is almost near impossible did not help the situation or merit him wanting to do your repair job. With all this being said, a company has the right to walk away from a job, just as you have the right to call another roofer, especially if you have nothing nice to say about this one.

  Worst services ever. They did not only burned the roof for not complying with the right procedures. But when they tried to fix the burned roof, they removed all the water sealing and my house flooded for two consecutive days. The manager does not solve the issues and the customer service line doesn’t even have complains form to be filled out.

  What a disappointment. Scheduled to get an estimate one week ago. Couple of days before they came out to do the estimate on my repair, they called and told me they would ONLY come out to give me an estimate if I agreed to repair my roof the same day. I have no idea what the costs would be?! Is it going to be $800 or $3000 or etc. How am I going to agree to that?! I don’t even know if the estimate amount is something I’m capable of paying at the time. So they said they had to cancel and would not give me an estimate. I have NEVER experienced such a poor way of doing business. I called them because I saw the ratings. But boy was I wrong.

  Honestly , not sure how they have so many positive reviews. I have contacted this company several times requesting a quote. I have provided my information several times and have been assured I would receive a call within 48 hours. No one has called or gotten in touch with me. Funny and strange way of doing business.

  Use A1 to install a new TPO flat roof over garage in Coconut Grove. Dealt with Henry exclusively. Excellent service. I had a very tight time frame and only gave them a 1 week window to complete job and they did it on time, in fact early. Highly recommend.

  I had my roof installed about a year and a half ago. At the time Heidi was working with them and she was truly awful. I recently had a leak and had the pleasant surprise of finding out she is no longer with the company. The owner himself reached out to me and came to inspect the leak. Everyone has been responsive and given the issue the attention it needs. I couldn't recommend them more, they came out and diagnosed/fixed and patched up the issue within 48 hours.
