  I had a leak on a commercial property. I called Flores & Foley. The tech came out quickly but told me he wouldn’t get an estimate until early the following week. I didn’t receive anything and the rain continued and the leak continued. I followed up with the tech who said “either today or tomorrow.” It’s been 3 business days and haven’t heard anything. In the meantime, I called a different roofing company who was able to identify the problem and fix it the same day. I won’t be using this company again.

  We recently had two F&F visits for estimates on our metal roof on a 1905 house. The first person apparently had a family emergency after his inspection, and not only did not share his findings, but F&F never contacted us. When we finally called them almost two weeks later, we learned of the issue with the first inspection and a second inspection was set up. The day after this second visit, we received an estimate for $21,000+ worth of repairs -- on a roof that had been inspected by F&F in 2016 and wasn’t having any issues we were aware of. We thought it just needed an inspection following Florence last fall, and since there were no issues we knew of, we wanted to wait until the local roofers were done with the people who’d actually had roof damage. The $21,000 quote came with -0- photos, so we reached out to them again, asking about photos, which were then quickly shared. Although the F&F report speaks of ‘some areas showing rust’ and ‘fabric showing in a lot of areas’, NONE of these conditions are visible (to us anyway) in any of the 18 photos. In fact, to us laypersons, this metal roof looked just fine. We then asked another roofing company with great online reviews to do an inspection (we didn’t inform them of the F&F report). Their words were that the ‘bad news’ was that we ‘won’t be able to work with XXX because your roof looks great’! This led to the first version of this review, which we’re modifying a bit after speaking with F&F. So, in summary: 1. No report and no contact for two weeks after the first inspection. 2. An immediate $21,000 quote when they came back the second time. 3. A $0/”your roof looks fine” quote from a second, reputable roofer. 4. A bad Google review from us, which kicked F&F into high gear (multiple follow-up visits additional photos taken, and multiple phone calls/day) to reassure us that our roof was “unequivocally” in need of significant repair. Our service managers and technicians have many years of experience and knowledge so that we may provide our customers with the best maintenance options on their roofs. After further evaluation of your roof, we remain assertive that the most beneficial course of action to preserve the life of your roofing system is a complete re-coating. Your roof is a 24 gauge standing seam metal roof with a layer of hydrostop coating system applied. The purpose of the hydrostop application is to prevent the roof from rusting, however, we have evidence of several areas on your roofing system that are visually presenting the oxidation of your roof. These areas include the entire eave of the second floor, the corners, two severe areas at the valleys where the metal panels are exposed and corrupted, and various spots all over the roofing systems. Mrs. Handlin, every proposal that we present to our customers is produced with their best interest in mind so that we may ensure that their roofing system is not compromised and to be able to extend it’s longevity. We would in no way recommend anything to our customer’s without establishing concrete evidence of the need of that service. We respect your decision of acquiring the services of another roofing company and sincerely hope that you acknowledge that our proposal was presented to you with complete accuracy, genuineness, and truthfulness.

  I am a General Contractor. Flores and Foley complete all of my roofing projects. I require all of my shingled roofs to be hand nailed and this company does a great job. They are always on time and at the end of the day my job site is clean. They also do all of my standing seam metal roofs with no flaws.
