  Very bad people that prey on seniors. Ordered and confirmed in writing 50 year architectural shingles. They installed the cheapest IKO shingles, told me architectural not available. Lies and pretends to not speak english when confronted

  Before starting the project, we explained that the original shingles requested were unavailable at the time. We contacted the suppliers that same morning, and you also spoke directly with them before agreeing to move forward with the material we provided. We also gave a discount to reflect the difference in the shingle warranty years. The shingles installed were still architectural shingles and had a very similar appearance to the original selection. Throughout the project, the owner of the company was present and communicated every step of the process with you. During the work, you stopped us multiple times to ask questions, and we always took the time to answer them and explain what was being done. I was also personally present at the job site and answered your questions as well. We were straightforward and transparent throughout the entire project. The statement that we pretended not to speak English is simply not true, as multiple members of our team, including the owner and myself, communicated with you in English during the job. All work performed was approved before moving forward. We also want to clearly state that we do not prey on any customers, including seniors. We treat every customer with respect and always aim to be honest, fair, and transparent in our pricing and communication. We are disappointed to see the situation presented this way after the efforts made to communicate and complete the project properly.

  This was just for an estimate and the estimator felt like we could not help out on the repair. We tried to give you a call to let you know we wouldn't be able to do the work but there was no answer. That is why we never provided an estimate for any work to be done. We are currently unable to do such small work when a demand for roof replacement is at an all time high. We are currently more focused on full roof replacements rather than small roof repairs.   Chose these guys based on all the positive reviews. First impressions were great. Nice on the phone, prompt inspection and good value. The repairs were delayed due to snow but they were good about communication. They showed up on time and worked quickly, that’s when everything went wrong. They left without a word. I went out to inspect the work and noticed that the plywood we had agreed would be replaced due to a leak and now growing mold was not replaced. They said nothing about it. I called and they quickly sent someone out to take a look. When they came back they told me the plywood was still good and that it would dry out and be fine because they got it with a hammer and it sounded ok. I was informed I would have to take care of the mold. I’m not a roofer so I don’t know about the hammer thing maybe that’s legit I have no idea but I certainly don’t like the mold. I don’t understand why the work wasn’t completed the way we had previously agreed. Upon inspecting a different portion of the roof that was repaired we discovered the repair done was insufficient. Water damage was still visible and the plywood that was placed was short. I was told they would come back first thing the next week and there would be a discount for the unused plywood. I received an email with an invoice for the full amount! I contacted them and was told that was a mistake. Next week came and no one showed or called. Wednesday they called and Thursday they came. They finished the roof and sent me a bill with a discount of $80. The problem is the estimate called for 3 sheets of plywood and the accompanying labor at $80 a piece, that $240 in parts and labor. Only 1/4 of 1 sheet was used. You would think that is easy math and the discount would be $220 or similar. This is like taking your car to a mechanic having them give you and estimate for A,B and C. You go pick up your car and they only did A, didn’t tell you and still billed you for the whole thing. When you find out about it they only fi

  As a military family we 100% do not reccomend this company. Be VERY careful who is chosen as a contractor in thurston county for your project. Beware

  Dear Atiana, We do feel this review is inappropriate due to the fact that “First choice roofing Inc” has never worked with you or your husband before. Yes, we gave you an estimate for the cost of the repairs the roof needs, in addition to that we support our Military troops as you can see in your proposal you got a discount for the full roof estimate. We feel sorry for what is happing to your roof, we are not reliable for other company’s mistakes. We were hired by the previous owners to install vents and we did just that. You believed our vents were leaking and we did a free inspection and saw the vents were not the cause of the leak. We politely ask you remove your review as this does not pertain to us.   From start to finish my experience with this company was outstanding. Abraham Jr was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. He is a thoughtful and professional young man. This company truly has integrity. The communication through the whole process was amazing. First Choice roofing went above and beyond in my opinion. I am one happy customer.

  These guys are great! Fair and honest pricing, quality work and have had 0 issues with all the work they've done on 3 seperate occasions over a couple years (two re-roofs and several repairs, skylight replacement, etc.. ). Highly recommend!

  Really good, fast work. Willing to fit in small jobs between their bigger ones (mine was 5 squares). Blended new shingles in with old ones really well, saving me having to put on an entire new roof.

  Discovered a leak in my garage. Roof was done by First Choice Roofing 3 yrs ago. Called them about the issue and within a week they were able to identify, solve, and fix the problem. They also replaced the drywall that was damaged by the leak. Crew did a fantastic job. Highly recommend First Choice Roofing to get the job done!

  Best roofing company we’ve ever worked with and we’ve replaced 3 in the last ten years. They were the best price quoted and delivered on that price. They arrived on time, watching for weather open windows. The crew was large and they worked diligently and quickly—always cleaning up while they worked. I didn’t have to worry if we were going to step in a nail because someone was always going around collecting them. It took two days and a few hours on the last day due to rain, but any other roofer would have taken all week for our home size. Polite, friendly. I was just shocked really. I’m inviting them back this spring to do a shop on our property next!
