First Call Contractors was recommended to me by a friend. However, their pricing appears to be driven by insurance payouts rather than actual repair costs. The amount my insurance approved for the roof damage did not align with their estimate, which was significantly higher. Because of this, I can’t recommend moving forward with them.

Mr. Chan, we do not have record of you in our database and we would not have provided an estimate to you without being in our crm. Furthermore, our company uses the insurance restoration industry standard software program that automatically calculates the fair market value pricing based on zip code for materials and labor in each area.

After wind damage to my home, I reached out to several roofing companies for estimates, including First Call Contractors. My initial conversations were straightforward and professional. As the process went on, their estimate was significantly higher than both the estimate from my insurance company and those from other contractors I contacted. They encouraged me to pursue third-party mitigation because of this difference, and during that part of the process I felt pressured. At that point, the tone and style of communication from the company shifted and felt less professional to me. My interaction with the company ended without any work being completed. Based on my experience, I encourage others to review all estimates in detail and only move forward with a contractor when the process and communication feel comfortable and clear.

I hired Gardeners now rebranded as First Call to replace my kitchen cabinets. On top of them being the most expensive, I went with them. The work was ok but their workers stole expensive liquor from my garage. They took the expensive bottles and left the open or cheap stuff behind I had to to empty my cabinets out and put the liquor in the garage. They used my garage daily to stage their equipment etc and during that time stole my liquor. Their workers cannot be trusted neither do they have the legal right to work in the US. Beware do not hire them as they are untrustworthy and cannot properly manage their workers. Also, you will not know who there workers really are as they are not documented.

I believe you have the wrong company. Our business does not replace cabinets or landscaping by work.

Their website says "no job is too small." We had siding ripped off our house in a windstorm, and so I called them and apparently that job is too small.

Great experience working with First Call Contractors. We reached out about siding damage from the high winds in Frederick. FCC came out same day to provide an estimate and 36 hours later, their team was performing the repairs. The quick and friendly service was highly appreciated! Thank you, FCC.

Great experience working with FCC. Brian was always available to discuss the process of making a claim with insurance company. He documented all the damage from recent hail storm and even met with the adjuster. It went smoothly and efficiently. Great communication and very professional. Highly recommend!

I used FCC after a hail storm which damaged the aluminum siding on my 56 year old house. Brian (the owner) helped walk me through the whole process and was available to speak to my insurance company representatives each time. He was not only there when they sent an inspector, but he walked around with that person to point out all the damage and then followed up multiple times. FCC did an outstanding job replacing all the siding on my house, and also added a house wrap and insulation. Work was done perfectly and Brian was always available by phone and text, with responses never taking more than a few minutes. This company is trustworthy and they live up to their word. I have recommended FCC to a few of my friends since the work was done on my house last month. I will call Brian again if there are any damages to my house in the future. Thank you, Brian and team, for an outstanding job with customer service and quality of work. We need more contractors like you.

We had the great opportunity to work closely with Brian Edwards and First Call Contractors. Brian was extremely knowledgeable with our repairs needed. Brian provided excellent customer service during the entire design through completion of the project. Brian’s roofers and siding workers were extremely professional, friendly, and very clean. We had a perceived issues months after our install and Brian was quick to stay in contact with us and even personally stopped by to make a repair for us. I have personally recommended Brian and First Call Contractors to many of my neighbors who also had the same experience as we did.

My experience was exceptional. Justin was professional, transparent, and extremely responsive. He exercised patience with me every step of the way and was very knowledgeable. During the day of the installation, he made a visit to check-in and called me the following day as a follow up. I highly recommend FCC and I highly recommend Justin Broom.

Want to give a shout out to Brian and and his team at First Call Contractors. FCC is an excellent company that strives to fully satisfy. Overall, I am very happy with the experience I have had with them. Brian is a highly professional contractor which is reflected in his work. He went out of his way to make sure I was completely satisfied and made sure to explain all of my options when making decisions. He handled the insurance company so everything went smoothly. Aside from a few minor hiccups (which is understandable with projects of this scale) they far exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend FCC to anyone looking to replace their roof or siding. Brian guarantees 100% customer satisfaction. So thankful and thrilled with the final product. My home looks brand new.

Our 7 year old roof leaked after the May hail storm, I contacted FCC immediately after seeing the work they completed on a neighbor’s house. Brian is amazing, he worked with my insurance company which made this process so smooth. We couldn’t be happier with the results, attention to detail and workmanship is impeccable. Our home never looked better!
