  I sought a roofing estimate and advised the intake person that mine was an older 1970s home at the outset. Still, they got on my schedule taking up a 3-hour window as they don't specify appt times, and didn't bother to check on my home--rather did a drive-by and had their receptionist call me to say they don't do older homes like mine. Rude and unprofessional. It was a waste of my valuable time as I could have scheduled two other roofers in that 3-hour slot taken by them.

  Josh and his Team of roofing professionals recently completed reroofing our home in SE Olympia. Evergreen's pricing and proposal was the best of four that I reviewed and am certainly pleased with how our project was delivered. From tear-off, to removing and replacing numerous sheets of damaged strand board, I was always made aware of the status of costs as well as the Crew ramping up with additional roofers to keep the original schedule. No complaints from this happy customer and I hope you will consider them for your roofing projects.

  We can’t recommend Evergreen State Roofing enough! We originally contacted them because the siding on our home was failing and buckling, and we also needed all 15 of our windows replaced. The estimate process was quick, easy, and straightforward, and they got us on the schedule much sooner than we expected. Even though windows aren’t something they typically install, they worked with us and another contractor to create a package that fit our budget. From start to finish, their entire crew was friendly, professional, communicative, and always on time. What really stood out was how well they listened. Whenever questions or unexpected issues came up during the project, they took our concerns seriously, communicated every step of the way, and made sure everything was taken care of. That level of customer service speaks volumes about the pride they take in their work. We were so happy with the experience that we hired them again to replace our gutters, and they look fantastic! During that project, they also identified a few other issues around our home. Rather than trying to upsell us, they were honest about what should be addressed now versus what could wait. That kind of integrity is hard to find. As busy parents raising three kids, making major investments in our home can be stressful. Having a company we could truly trust made the entire process so much easier. If you’re looking for a knowledgeable, honest, and reliable contractor that genuinely cares about their customers, we highly recommend Evergreen State Roofing!

  I can’t say enough about the professionalism and reasonable costs of roofing repairs by Josh and his team at Evergreen State Roofing. Our home was for sale and the buyer’s inspector found some repairs needed on our 13-year old roof and advised we needed a new roof based on a bid from another roofing company quoting over $47,000 for a new roof. ESR came out and advised we did not need a new roof and that the spots they indicated could be fixed for $2700.00. ESR completed the repairs professionally and efficiently. Upon the inspectors return, he pointed out completely different areas they wanted fixed. ESR came out again and not only did they fix the additional areas, but spend 2 days completely repairing any potential areas on the roof that may cause issues in the future. They knew the importance of us selling our home and wanted the inspection to be successful. They did not charge anything other than the original bid. The men that did the work were professional and clean in their work. I would highly recommend Josh and his team at ESR – they are honest and professional. Josh was extremely helpful and thorough in his bid as well as his report of the completed job. Thank you ESR!

  Evergreen State Roofing did a great job replacing the incorrectly installed indoor laminate on our outdoor balcony with Tufdek vinyl decking. The results look great and have performed well over the past few months. I would definitely use their services again.

  Excellent experience overall. They replaced my entire roof, gutter system, added brand new flashings throughout the roof, installed a new Solatube, replaced damaged boards with quality material, etc. Used Malarkey Legacy shingles, quality snow proofed valleys and quality underpayments. Everything came with a 50 year warranty. Wow! Josh Miller had been outstanding right from estimation and bidding to the final inspection with complete transparency throughout. Their crew was expert and highly professional. Respectful of property and willing to listen. Highly recommend them in case you are looking for roof replacement or related work in the Olympia, Lacey and Tumwater area or beyond.

  We needed some specialty roofing work for an historic theater and did not have any available options in our local area. Although located out of town, ESR promptly came for a site visit and provided a reasonable bid so that we could keep our project on track. They communicated with us well during the planning for the project, did an excellent job on the specialty roofing work, and were a pleasure to work with.

  UPDATE: I reached out to the owner, and he clarified the warranty. He was able to have his employees come out quickly and inspect the roof and attic. They replaced some of the the vent caps. I'll have to see how it holds up during the rainy season. In the future, the reps should be communicated with in order to give the correct information on the phone. 0 stars . Beware, warranty is "NON-TRANSFERRABLE". I bought a house that described a "new roof" on the listing. After moving in, we started noticing a leak. They incorrectly screwed on the vent cap and the hole for the screw was too big, thus all the water was leaking through there, and mold grew. When I called Evergreen State Roofing, they said there is a warranty but it is "non-transferrable". This is bogus if the seller changed the roof in order to sell the house. This is also bogus if your employee didn't do a competent job and you can't own up to that incompetence. Eventually I had to go through my insurance and filed a claim, so my premium increased the next year as a result.

  ESR’s fast, curtious and professsional crew had my roof finished in two days. Jordan suggested the black gutters and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results.

  HIGHLY RECOMMEND ! recently had a new roof and gutters installed/replaced, there were fast, efficient, kind and very reasonably priced. They did great work and would definitely be calling again for anything in the future. THANKS YOU GUYS!!!
