  Started the process to have my roof repaired from hail damage. They didn't follow through on the claim appeal, didn't follow up with me and now I've wasted 3 months of time with them for nothing.

  Currently being shafted by Evergreen. At this point, I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE BASED ON OUR EXPERIENCE!!!! We had (or currently have) a hail claim for roof and siding. We chose them because they were a preferred contractor for our insurance. We assumed that meant things would go quickly and smoothly. Things were fine until they decided they weren't getting paid enough to do the siding (to be clear: as a whole project, they are making PLENTY). But I've heard the phrase "Evergreen doesn't touch a roof or siding for less than X" probably 5-10 times throughout the process. Well then you should not have told us you could when we signed the contract so that we could have chosen someone else who would! You had the numbers from the insurance!! You just sound like arrogant jerks... What makes it worse is we're in the middle of a house sale and their refusal to do the work is costing our buyers thousands because of extensions and potential rate lock loss and we can't close with the open claim!!! It feels like we've been lied to and heard multiple versions of the story from different people throughout. We just want the work done so we can move on. We've waited patiently (since August) tried to work with anyone to figure it out, but here we are, incredibly frustrated... On their "about us" page it says they value referrals through customer experience. But our experience is NOT that they want to do the right thing, but THEIR PROFIT IS NUMBER ONE, NOT YOU, THE CUSTOMER.

  The work they did was not good at all. The day of installation I noticed the first and huge problem. They removed a cupola on my garage. They never replaced the boards they put shingles only over a hole about 15 inches long and 10 inches wide. I noticed that and posted it on social media. The owner came the next day and fixed it. I also had a neighbor that complained about them leaving lots of nails in his yard. Finally I got out of the medical boot I was in and looked at the roof. They didn't do all of the work on my contract and I had to get the building inspector to come back. I had to Finally fire Evergreen Construction as I feel they were the absolute worst. I finished the work with someone else. They deserve a zero.

  Evergreen completed an IBHS Fortified roof replacement for us in June of 2026. This is a special type of roof system that carries a 35%+ insurance discount for the wind/hail premium. Joe and his team were able to successfully install the system, and get the certificate approved. He is one of the few roof contractors with actual experience installing these storm proof roof systems in MN. Joe was responsive throughout the process, and was able to successfully deliver the big project on budget. We had 4 reasonable bids for our project. Overall we choose Joe to complete the work as we trusted him the most to get the job done right.

  Great experience! The initial bid and final price were identical. They showed up promptly on the date promised, and finished up one day later. They circled back two additional times to do final clean (and sweep the magnets for any runaway nails), and then they were gone. Quick, and very professional.

  After a large hail storm, there was visible damage to my house. I was referred to Joe Hahs, the owner of Evergreen Construction. I contacted Joe and he was extremely responsive and helped me through every step of the claim process. He was very attentive and helped me get my home back and better than before the storm. I am so grateful to him and his crew. Everyone was very professional, kind, and respectful. My roof, gutters, siding, and deck were taken care of very quickly and efficiently. If you ever need a caring, kind, and very knowledgeable contractor for your home, look no further, because Joe is your guy!

  Was looking to replace my current roof due to its extended age, and was able to work with Joe Hahs to get a quick and detailed quote, and their crew did a great job with the roof itself, and left everything nice and clean afterward.

  After experiencing storm damage, Evergreen promptly assessed the situation and worked directly with my insurance company, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. Joe was responsive, answered all of my questions, and quickly scheduled the work. I was out of state during the roof replacement, and Joe kept me informed by sending detailed photos upon completion. Based on this excellent experience, Evergreen will be my first call for any future repairs.
