Do NOT go through this company! They replaced my whole roof with material that is made for patios only NOT for livable areas! This roof was replaced 2021 and now 2026 I need a whole new roof again! They also drove a nail through my electrical cord for my dryer and I had to replace that out of pocket AND they left nails all over my yard which caused a flat tire….i complained about that and the owner did replace my tire however when I told him about the electrical cord to my dryer being ruined he stopped messaging me. I also had a leak about 2 years after they replaced the roof (no surprise) since it’s basically not a livable roof and they came out 3 times days apart and were telling me there’s no leak I had video footage and they finally patched it enough to stop leaking! This place is a joke and they only offer a 2 year warranty when most places offer up to 15 years because they know their quality will not last! Garbage garbage garbage and the owner should be ashamed of himself to rip families off like this! Disgusting 🤢 🤮 😈

Cheyenne, We are disappointed to read this review and strongly dispute several of the statements made. According to our records, this roofing project was completed on September 17, 2021, nearly five years ago. The roofing system installed was the exact system specified in the signed contract and accepted upon completion. We also strongly dispute the claim that materials intended only for patios were installed. The materials used were the exact roofing materials identified in the signed agreement and are recognized roofing products designed for this roofing application. Prior to posting this review and complaint, our office was not contacted regarding the concerns described, and we were not given the opportunity to inspect the roof or discuss any issues. After becoming aware of your review, we attempted to contact you using the phone number we have on file, but the number appears to be disconnected or no longer in service. Your review also references our warranty. Under Arizona law, licensed contractors are required to provide a minimum two-year workmanship warranty, and the warranty associated with this project expired years ago. The concerns being raised are occurring nearly five years after the roof was installed. Like any major component of a home, roofing systems require routine inspections and maintenance throughout their service life. Because we were never contacted, we have not had the opportunity to inspect the roof, evaluate its current condition, or determine whether maintenance or other factors may have contributed to the concerns being described. We also strongly disagree with the statement that Encantada Roof Works "rips families off." We have proudly served Southern Arizona for many years, completed thousands of successful roofing projects, and built our reputation on quality workmanship, honesty, and customer service. We have consistently gone above and beyond for our customers and have even donated roofing services to families in need within our

Encantada Roof Works LLC Don't bother getting an estimate if you live in the Vail area. You will just be wasting your time. Most of my phone calls went straight to voice mail. It usually took a day or two to get a response via emails. I accepted their estimate and when I asked for a start date, I was told I had to put 50% down and sign a contract "before" discussing a start date. I got the feeling they really did not want my business because the quote was only $3200. I used a Vail based roofing company and I was very happy with their work!

Sorry but all company’s ask for 50 percent down this is standard procedure in our industry. Thank you kindly.

Would NOT recommend. Alot of post work leaks, very inconsistent communication and excuses. Owner a decent guy but it is actions and skills of his staff not matching reassuring words.

I would choose a different roofing company. They matched a roofing repair estimate provided by a different company which we appreciated, but it took 6 weeks to complete the work. Once done, there was roofing compound running down the facia of the house. They did offer to come out again and cover it up if we provided them with some paint. I did not take them up on this offer. After winter rains rolled through, the repairs completed (or not completed) failed and ruined a bathroom wall. I asked them to warranty the repairs and they obliged, but it continues to leak. After 2 visits to warranty the roof, the wall below the repairs continues to get wet even with light rain. I will update if the roof ever gets fixed correctly.

Hello Blake, Sorry to hear that your roof is leaking, We have been very responsive to all your calls or emails and we pride ourselves on great customer service and quality of work we provide. The photo you provided was before the duct work was sealed and not the current way it is. We under stand your frustration and we are frustrated as well we feel like we inherited someone else's band aid job because all we did was a small roof coat and a Flash N Seal. As for the roof coating material that went over your fascia yes your right we did offer to go out and re paint and only asked for the paint and color. We have received your email once again today and will be sending someone out there once again to see what we can find. Thank you for being a customer

We paid this company to repair our roof in June (painting and repairing some blisters, mostly) as part of the closing on our new home; they did not show up to do the work until 6 weeks later. Two weeks after that, we had our new contractor (who we found out is also a licensed roofer) up on the roof to look at a different issue (hood vent installation) and he came down and wanted to know if we'd had work done on the roof. We told him yes, and he said that the work was unprofessional and badly done and should have cost us no more than $300. We paid over $2,000 for it. We contacted the company to ask them about the quality of the work, but they maintained that they did the work and would not further discuss it with us. We're very disappointed and feel like we were taken advantage of by this company.

Ryan and Kristin We are sorry to hear about your frustrations. We were originally contacted regarding this job by the sellers agent. They reached out to us to see if we could offer a lower price than the original price of $1,160 received from Hallmark Roofing estimate. We were able to offer a discount and offered to do the work based on the bid provided in the amount of $1,050. It was not over $2,000 as you stated. The contract that you signed states if total job amount is under $1500 then we require 100% upfront to start the job and put you on our schedule. You made that payment to us on 6/1/23 and we performed the work on 6/13/23 it was not 6 weeks later. We would have loved to have done it sooner for you but there was rain in that 12 day window and we wanted to make sure the repairs were efficiently done and the roof had ample dry time. On July 18th you contacted our office due to storm damage that had unfortunately occurred to your home. The photos were of the roof severely blown off on the complete opposite side of the home from where we performed our repair but you still tried to blame this act of mother nature on us. Thankfully we had completed photos of the work we performed as proof that that area was no where close to your storm damage. That being said I am not surprised to see this review and the many others you have placed on other businesses in our community, it almost seems like a hobby at this point. Bottom line we gave a discount to you based on the original estimate provided to us from hallmark roofing, we performed the work 12 days after payment was made and we did exactly what the scope of work stated on our estimate, including scraping two inch bubbles on the roof, sealing those bubbles, a small patch repair at the front of the home and provided completed photos which showed all the work was done on the total opposite side of the home that the storm damage occurred. We built our business on integrity and honesty. Every google review we have is au

We used Encantada because they were recommended by our realtor. They were prompt in doing the inspection and getting us the bid, but once we put down our deposit, that's where the customer service ended. They initially told us that we were the first in their queue. Then it became that we were the first "shingle roof" in their queue, but that there were a number of other roofs ahead of us. In e-mail, they said they would begin work the following week. When the following week came and went with no contact from them, we called and they denied ever telling us that they would be out that week (until we sent them the e-mail). All of that (except the gaslighting) would have been tolerable if they had just kept us in the loop. Instead, we had no contact from them and, when we called, we were made to feel like we were being unreasonable and inconveniencing them. Once they did the roof, they discovered additional issues that increased the costs. Maybe that's to be expected, but I would have thought that in the inspection they should have seen an issue like more than one layer of shingles were already in place or the vents were old. They left their personal garbage in our backyard (like candy wrappers), and they absolutely did not clean up after their work. There were shingles everywhere, nails everywhere (we have had to patch one tire so far ), including our driveway and front porch, trash in our pool, an old satellite dish was literally left dangling from the roof by a cable, a piece of cut pipe in our backyard. We even found a large amount of unused nails for a nail gun in our bushes. They did not leave the house in even a safe condition for our kids and animals. It hasn't rained since they have replaced the roof, so we'll see. This was such an expensive purchase, I feel like there is a basic level of customer service that should be provided. I would not recommend Encantada to anyone.

Annie- We are very bothered to hear this and we strive to give 100% satisfaction. We did reach out to you and your husband for a week after completion to make sure you were satisfied and to make sure you received our completed photos and final bill but you did not take our calls or return our messages. The reason for our call was to explain the unforeseen damages found that can not be seen during an inspection, unfortunately our inspectors do not have x-ray vision but this was also clearly typed out in the proposal you signed. Sadly we didn't hear back from you until you needed more time to pay your bill. We were very understanding and accommodating to that need and allowed you more time. As far as feeling pushed off let me explain a couple of things to you, you requested a roof inspection from us in the middle of the monsoon season something we haven't seen in more than a decade. We had no intention of making you feel unreasonable or inconveniencing but we had no start date for you. It poured rain from June thru August we could't plan any major tear offs for ANYONE. You were indeed the next shingle job in line but we were at a stand still for 2.5 months and could NOT open your roof with the rains nor put our company in jeopardy because you want your roof done ASAP. Had you called our office to let us know of the couple things left behind we would have absolutely sent someone out there until you were 100% satisfied, things can go unseen and missed and the workers are human. We do incredible work with tons of satisfied customers. I suggest in the future if you have an issue you, contact someone directly not jump on social media and google to try to blast a company that has been organically built, does very little marketing and is based on word of mouth due to the exceptional work we do!

Had a small leak during a heavy rain and was not able to contact the trusted roofer I refer my realty clients to. So I asked Encantada to inspect it and give me an estimate for any required repairs. Was told the roof was at the end of it's life and would need to be redone for a minimum of $17,500...finally contacted my preferred company. Was told the drip likely came in through a vent with the heavy rain and winds. BL: They said the roof has at least 5 years of life. I'd suggest you get at least 3 evaluation before pulling out your check book.

Anthony We pride ourselves on honesty and our company was built on integrity and honest opinions. We have many trusted relationships with AGENTS like yourself. After further review of your roof we stand 100% behind our estimate, your photos that we took during inspection and evaluation show severe cracking, deterioration and openings for water penetrations. This roof is also 23 years old and beyond its serviceable condition. We would highly suggest you show these to your "trusted" roofer and have them explain the damage to you. As always we appreciate the ONE FREE roof inspection that you sent to us which was this ONE. As a highly reputable Realtor we suggest you educate yourself for your clients benefit and review the photos/severity of the damage so your sellers and buyers don't end up with this conditioned roof from your "trusted" roofer.

I accepted the job before receiving the bid due to the incredible staff. They treat you like they have known you and answered all my questions without making me feel bad for it. Last year we needed our roof inspected and got five quotes and the best service, quality of the inspection and pricing came from Encantada roof works. They called and said it would be about 3 weeks before they could get out to replace our roof which was fine with us and then called us later that night and said they could be out in the morning, it was all done in one day, did a great job. We did have a leak and they came out numerous times trying to fix it, finally opened up a hole in our laundry room and found out it was caused by the air conditioner. Larry the owner immediately called a friend of his that does air conditioning work and he was there within the hour and fixed the problem. They arrived on time and was great with cleaning up and not leaving any type of mess and answered any questions I had. This year we had a crack in one of our skylights and again Larry had someone out the next day to patch it up for us and then we went ahead and had them replace all the domes in our five skylights within a matter of couple of weeks. I would not hesitate to use them they did great job and very easy to get hold of and always was quick with a response or answer.
