  This company (B&M Roofing) was the worst! I requested that they replace the roofing paper on my guest house porch and this is their finished product! Looks like they used scrap materials from another job on my house! They threw roofing nails all over my yard and get this, they tore off the old roofing paper, put it in bags and left the bags on the side of my house for 3 weeks. When they came out to replace the paper, they sent two young men/boys that had no idea what they were doing as you can see from the two photos. I would never hire this company again.

  They were very unprofessional from the start dropping wood through the garage on my wife’s car and dropping nails everywhere that caused a flat tire and I’m finding still up to 2 years later. They were playing loud music at early hours showing up and leaving at random hours and took days longer than stated which doesn’t seem that bad until you consider the loud music and vehicles taking up all the parking. They did shotty work that is evident from the pics(there are more that I didn’t post) even leaving nail heads exposed and shingles bubbling up and the fact that the warranty is so short (5 years on 30 year shingles and only 2 years on the repair) and excludes bad weather and animal debris among other things that are listed in the contract and that’s not a complete exclusion list according to them. They didn’t tell me about my porch not being suitable for typical shingles and put these without talking to me and they don’t even match! I didn’t even realize how terrible the quality was until I went up myself to see about fixing the bullet hole. The pics aren’t the best quality but zoom in and see the quality they provide and it’s obvious why their warranty is so short. Look at how they left my vent crooked and did such a terrible job on painting and caulking and even left nail heads exposed and didn’t secure everything back to the roof like it was. Do yourself a favor and pay a little more for a quality job and read the fine print before signing anything. The good reviews must be friends or bought or people that haven’t checked the quality.

  B&M Roofing does not agree to demands for free work made under the threat of negative reviews; this review was submitted following our refusal to do so. Daniel, thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. We want to address the statements made here with accurate information and full transparency. This roof was completed in 2023, and we did not receive any complaints about workmanship, cleanup, noise, or scheduling at any point during or after the project—until now, nearly two years later. Had any issue been brought to our attention at the time, we would have addressed it immediately but it does not appear an issue occurred. Regarding the claim of damage to a vehicle and a flat tire, we asked you directly for receipts or photos so we could reimburse you and compensate for any inconvenience. You stated that you did not have any documentation or photos of the alleged damage and then changed the story, which prevented us from being able to resolve that concern properly. It’s also important to clarify that the current frustration appears to stem from a BULLET HOLE discovered in the roof system long after the installation. You requested that we repair this bullet hole at no additional cost, but because it was unrelated to our work and occurred well after the project was completed, it was not covered under the original scope or warranty. As for the workmanship: the roof was installed to manufacturer standards, passed inspection, and remained in good condition when reviewed. The "Mismatched" material is called cap sheet, this is on your low slope patio because you have inadequate slope for shingles. This is a manufacture guideline and state code. This was also on the contract that you signed prior to the roof project. Our warranties are standard for the industry and clearly outlined in the contract you reviewed and signed.   Unfortunately, after confirming the work to be done multiple times throughout the process with B&M, they failed to do the work promised. I even confirmed with multiple employees on and off-site during the reroof when it appeared that they were diverging from plans, and they lied to my face. I’m left with a mess and an expense 4X what I was quoted from other reputable Tucson companies to do the work they actually DID. A few days after the work, without ever receiving an invoice, I was told they would be adding a 10% late payment fee. When I reached out to ask why they did not do the work we had agreed to, they sent an employee out to explain that they had carefully crafted the contract to protect them from their empty agreements. Later talking to the owner, Brent, he said the agreements we made don’t matter, only the words in the contract, and threatened a lien if I don’t pay the remaining balance promptly. My fault for trusting folks that I had heard were good. I wouldn’t recommend B&M for the quality of their work, and I would highly advise against working with them due to their business practices. I hope this saves someone else from losing thousands of dollars.

  I'm a local reviewer who seldom leaves bad reviews (checkout my profile to confirm). But in this case I have to report my experience. If you have a flat roof I would avoid this company. They did the roof inspection on our home before we bought it and said the roof was in great condition. Fast forward 8 months later and we had a massive leak after rain in March 2025. We had to remove a 6'x7' area of ceiling drywall (Photo). We had them come back and inspect and now they had roof access and below access cause the drywall was gone. They recoated the area and said we should be good. It rained again a few weeks later and it still was leaking in the exact same spot. Had them come out again for a third time and I went on the roof with them. I asked them to check under the roof mounted AC unit (resting on above-roof wood beams) because that's right above the leak. The guy looks under the AC and is like "oh yea here's your problem" and proceeds to tear several large pieces of the coating away. It tore like tissue paper (photo). They tried to say under the AC isn't their problem, which I understand, but does that mean they don't even look there during a roof inspection? I would at least expect that. Since they did the inspection, both times, and the "repair", they said they would call back with an estimate. They never did. Waited for several weeks. So they left the leak there in a WORSE state since he tore away the coating. Ended up having to go to another roofing company to fix it. To recap, since they did a home buy roof inspection and didn't bother to check under an AC unit, missed it on a subsequent inspection even though it was right above the leak, never called back after they found the source of the leak, I cannot recommend this company and give them 1 star due to the thousands of dollars this cost us.

  Hello Mr. Stone, I wanted to address the items you mentioned. The hvac contractor you scheduled was unable to get the unit off in time. We showed up on the scheduled day and had to reschedule for them to remove the unit. We than showed up again on time and completed the roof so that the hvac could be reinstalled the same day. I apologize the smell of asphalt is not pleasant. However you have an asphalt roof, there is nothing that can be done about that on our part. We also replaced 6 additional sheets of decking and did not charge you anything for this. As for reaching out to us our crew was only on site for 1 and a half days from start to completion which is documented in time stamped photography software which we can share with you.   We used B&M Roofing to provide an inspection on a home we were considering purchasing and was under contract. We waited several days for the report and finally had to contact B&M to find out status of report. They finally sent a report indicating that no roof repairs were needed. Fortunately, we had the Home Inspector out a couple of days prior to receiving the report from B&M. The Inspector identified numerous issues with the roof, both major issues and some simple things he identified like broken tiles . B&M completely overlooked these in their inspection, and sent us a report saying roof was in no need of repair. I don't know about you, but if I am buying a home I certainly don't want to have to pay for these repairs after I purchase home when they should have been identified by the roof inspection. We gave B&M the opportunity to reply to us and instead they chose to not answer our response.

  I had B&M give me an estimate prior to putting my home on the market so I could estimate the cost of repairs. Once the home went under contract about 2 months later, my buyer had another company AND B&M give them an estimate. The estimate from B&M was exactly the same as what I had (even though it was a different estimator) and priced lower than the other company they used. I paid for roof repairs and had B&M do the job. Their rates are fair and reasonable, and they were able to get the job done quickly. I would definitely recommend them!
