I do NOT recommend this company. I had numerous issues from start to finish once I contracted them to replace my roof. First, there was confusion around the start date. I initially confirmed a date in January which the company agreed to. A couple weeks later they contacted me to start in early December, not as if it was a reschedule, but as if this was their first attempt to get me book. I know this because when my wife dropped off my deposit after I agreed to the change, the women at the office were confused about the start date, still thinking it was in January. This confusion was a warning of things to come. When work finally began, I was told it would take a week. But when the 4th day of work came, no one came to finish. When I contacted the office, they told me the crew ran out of tiles and someone would be back on that Saturday to finish the job. I didn’t like that no one informed me that work would stop, nor did I care for the thought of work being done on the weekend. But it turns out that last concern was unwarranted because no one came on Saturday, and actually no one would be back until the following Wednesday. Again, I was never told of the delays until after I inquired about them. I understand that delays happen but I as the customer should be informed as they come up. The next issue was the mess left behind by the workers. I am still finding chunks of roof material and nails weeks later, even though someone supposedly came by to police up debris. The next problem was the fact that there are several mismatched tiles on my roof now. Just like with delays, I understand that finding enough matching tiles is not always possible and I was informed of that possibility before work started, but I was not told that is indeed what happened until AFTER I inspected the roof myself. Being upfront about delays and material issues is simply good customer service and speaks to the integrity and diligence of a company. Not communicating these issues to a customer

Matt, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. It is a well written review and it appears that my team did not deliver a world class experience to you. Although there are items in the review I disagree with, the experience is yours and not mine. I have tried to get a hold of you through emails and phone calls but we have not been successful. I take great pride in the effort the staff and roofers do for people. Whenever we have an issue we try to address it immediately and make it right. The total experience is what matters for me and for you to take the time to leave a review like this, we missed the mark. I’d love to talk with you and still resolve any concerns you have as we strive to make everything perfect. Let us know at 520-288-8282 or through service@canyonroofing.com if there is an opportunity to deliver in any outstanding issues. Brad

Terrible experience. Wasted time and $810 for 1.5 hours of work with little to no material costs. Your reply is not accurate. You did not even address the issue I had with Castle Roofing. It wasn’t about the leak. I emailed pictures of my …

This is a painful review to receive for all of our extremely hard working staff and roofers. We've called you daily, texted daily, emailed and sent letters to your home trying to get a hold of you to see what we did wrong. We have not received a response of any type. We would absolutely love any opportunity to understand the concern and redo anything we may have done incorrectly. You had Castle Roofing install a brand new roof on your home. After it leaked, they ignored you per your 2-star review to their company and had us make some repairs to your roof. Almost one year later, you drop us a 1-star review on google, even lower than the review you left for a company that installed your entire roof incorrectly and ignored you. Any mistake we make we fix immediately for any client and always do what is right to fix any concerns or issues. We would still gladly do any repairs you think we did incorrectly, even if it's one year after we worked on the home. You can reach us at 520-288-8282 or service@canyonroofing.com If this review was left on accident or for the wrong company, we would love it if you would take the time to remove it! Brad

Horrible inspection. Was given false information, had another company go out to inspect home and canyon roofing claimed no damage of water was done; they missed the mold. Victor was the inspector. I would not recommend this company.

I actually love this review. It shows how impossible it is to run a small business in today's World. We wish your name showed in our system so we could have contacted you as we have no idea what property you are talking about. The validity of this review appears to be very suspect. There are many other roofing companies with Canyon in the title and this may not be for us. Most importantly, we are roof inspectors and not mold inspectors. We are not licensed to find mold, inspect for it and tell clients they have mold. It would be illegal for us to inspect for mold or tell someone they have mold. I am super appreciative that our inspector did not tell you that you had mold. This was a 100% free, no obligation roof inspection. In return for us coming to your home for free, giving you our opinion on your roof and providing you with photos of your home, you decided to pay us back for all of that hard work by trying to destroy our business with a 1-star review. Its ok to simply disagree and move on. We would love to talk to you and you are welcome to call us anytime at 520-288-8282. You might find that conversations work better to resolve issues than jumping into the internet. Canyon Roofing is the leader in Tucson for quality and resolving issues. Please reach out to us at your earliest convenience.

Byron, we’ve tried so hard to find you in our systems but I believe you left a review for the wrong company. There are a lot of companies that are copying our name due to our success. We would resolve any issue or concern immediately and have never heard from you. From your review it looks like you are talking about tiles, and not shingles. When we inspect a roof, we provide extensive photos of the underlayment we install and don’t install the wrong tiles. Your review seems extremely harsh for the company you were leaving it for however. If someone installed a roof upside down or did extensive damage I would understand a 1-star review. To leave a 1-star review, trying to wipe out the jobs of extraordinary workers because a tile didn’t match seems really unfair. As always, feel free to call us anytime to discuss any issues you may have as we have resolved 100% of issues that have been brought to our attention.

My roofing job was done super fast, maybe too fast (in one day) in 2021, turns out they left a hole in the roof over the garage - the sun was shining through it. They came out quickly and patched the brand new roof. Recently, the roof was leaking with water coming through the vent in the ceiling. They came out pretty quickly, patched it up and showed me that the roof was not sealed around anything that was protruding from the roof (air conditioner, etc.) - afraid to look in the attic.

Do not use these roofers they are currently working on our neighbors roof. My mother saw one of the workers lean over our wall and spray my dog in the face with something. He can be a barker so I have kept him inside most of the time for the past two days and just let him out to use the restroom. I don’t know what they sprayed him with but it was definitely not water as it had a smell to it.

Hi Ami, you gave Taco Bell a 4 star review and us a 1 star review. This is just simply not an accurate statement. All of my roofers have worked for me for years; have families and children and the highest moral and ethical standards. We would never spray animals with mystery liquids. A phone call or email to the office would have been appreciated to see if these were workers with our company. If this was accurate I would have instantly terminated any employee and called the police for animal abuse. Many roofers are dependent on good reviews and to leave a poor review without an attempt for a positive resolution is unfair to hard working people.

We had a comprehensive bid that included carpentry and a complete tear off. They tried not to do any of the carpentry and put new underlayment right over the old. We called the office to complain and when they actually did the complete tear …

Roofers took three days to replace 1200 square foot roof. Additionally $200 worth of brand new tools were removed from property. When I complained to company, they became very rude and told me I had no proof and it was my fault because tools were not locked up.
Reply from the business
Vicky, thank you for the feedback. The roof we replaced was approximately 2000 square feet, which takes time to do correctly. I'm sorry I don't have a better response for you regarding the time, we just want to make sure jobs are done right. Three days to replace an entire roof is not an unreasonable timeframe. This crew has completed over 300 re-roofs over the past few years for us with no complaints regarding theft. I do expect outstanding customer service from my staff at all times and if you did not receive that we will work to be better. We did ask clarifying questions to help us understand how and what was stolen as we were being blamed for something we felt did not happen from our roofers. If there is something we can do to make this right for you, please contact me directly! Brad - Owner / Canyon Roofing.

I had a leak under my porch that my previous roofer (under the table kind of guy) worked on a few times but could not get it to stop. I shopped around and it seems like these other companies just want to replace your whole roof so they get a large payout and make up damages to get you to replace the whole roof. Ricardo came out and knew right off the bat what was causing the leak and got it done at a reasonable price. If you’re shopping around beware of shady roofing companies looking to overcharge and make you feel like you need a brand new roof. Canyon doesn’t seem like that kind of company. Thanks canyon!!

I called about having a couple roof tiles broken. And they were out the next day to check it out. And back the following day and fixed then. And the price was very reasonable. They will be the company I call in the future.

I had a great experience with Canyon Roofing LLC. From start to finish, the entire team was professional, courteous, and easy to work with. They did outstanding work on my roof, paid attention to the details, and left everything clean when the job was finished. The quality of their workmanship really shows, and they kept me informed throughout the process. It’s refreshing to work with a company that takes pride in doing the job right. I highly recommend Canyon Roofing LLC to anyone looking for reliable, honest, and professional roofing services.
