  Edit 7-22-26: Wow [Contractor Name]... What an impersonal and tone deaf response. Update: After a few years of water pouring directly onto our foundation due to Empire installing our downspouts incorrectly, we've finally remedied our gutter issues. Hopefully our walls will stop cracking now. I gotta say... For $30k, we expected legit work. The amount of half-assed EVERYTHING that we've found since you worked on our house is nothing short of astonishing. I have refrained from leaving a review for months but I just keep finding bad work... We spent almost $30k on outside renovations with Empire. New roof, gutters, soffits, and fascia. I used to think this job was just too big for you, but there were so many problems from the beginning. - We had to sign and resign our contract due to the fluctuations in cost of materials. - We had to have you guys out over and over and over again to go over stuff you missed or didn't do correctly. - You left a hole in our attic big enough for squirrels to get in. - You left huge splinters of wood dangling from the inside of the garage after you replaced the roof. - You took the topper centerpiece to our 90 year old clay roof after we specifically said we wanted to keep it. - You inexplicably and badly put black trim around the back door (didn't ask for that) and the door won't close without being forced. Don't give these guys your money.

  Hi Meredith, We take feedback regarding our exterior installations very seriously, and while we are disappointed by your review, we would like to address a few key facts regarding the work completed on your home. Water & Foundation: Proper water displacement is critical for any home. When downspouts are daylighted above ground, it is done because existing underground drainage lines are clogged or non-functional. Gutters and downspouts are designed to carry water away from the roofline, but they cannot resolve pre-existing structural or foundation settlement issues. Attic Access & Wildlife: Our complete roof, soffit, and fascia installations are fully sealed and weather-tight upon completion. Unfortunately, squirrels and other pests can—and frequently do—chew through exterior materials after the installation is complete to gain entry. Post-installation animal intrusion requires pest control and is distinct from structural workmanship. Contracts & Materials: Fluctuations in material pricing during supply chain disruptions did require contract adjustments industry-wide before ordering, though we always aim to keep that process clear and transparent. We stand behind the craftsmanship of our full-exterior renovations.   The roof installation was performed quickly and, so far, seems to be of good quality. They worked with my insurance and made the experience rather easy. My complaint involves their clean-up following the installation. They left dozens of nails and other pieces of metal in my lawn and on our driveway. See the attached photo of the metal debris that I gathered on one evening. We continue to find nails and other pieces of metal. I contacted the company requesting that they return to clean up the metal, but they never replied. I'm concerned my children, neighbor children, or animals may be injured on all the debris. I have since required a tire repair that I suspect may be related due to the nails found in the driveway. Much of their service was appreciated and professional, but I'm concerned about allowing my children outside without shoes in the summer or use the water toys in the lawn for fear of them being injured. The complete lack of response from the company is very unprofessional.

Regarding the tarping service our representative provided you with a professional, temporary solution to protect your home from imminent rain and wind. The $250 fee covers not just the materials, but the labor, insurance and the risk of our technician climbing your roof. The fee was agreed upon prior to the work being completed to ensure your home stayed dry while you went through the decision making process. Regarding our financing we offer an 18 month deferred interest and a 6.99% APR plan, which are among some of the lowest in the industry. We apologize if you feel there was any confusion about these plans during your estimate. We take pride in our assessment and provided multiple estimates to address your specific goals. While we understand you choose another contractor for the final project we stand by the value and emergency protection we provided. We wish you the best of luck on your roofing project.

  They do not have your best interests in mind. They will drain you for every dime they can. I told them I had storm damage and insurance would cover anything over 1k and they charged 1k exactly. Do not recommend.

  Terrible customer service!!! They wanted me to pay the down payment without scheduling the service. What am I paying for? The possibility of getting the service because without a date and time it’s just a possibility. I would have no problem paying if they would’ve scheduled it.. Lol it’s unfortunate that they didn’t understand that!! Go figure.

  tl;dr: I won't ever use this company for anything ever again and would not recommend them to anyone. I have told everyone I know about how they treated me and what kind of work they do. If you want a company that actually communicates with you and will do what they say without you having to contact them multiple times, then you should really look elsewhere. I looked up a few companies and read through the reviews and decided Empire would be the best fit. I got in contact with them and a guy named Brent got in contact with me. He was very straight forward with me and said that he has worked with insurance companies before and would help me along the way. He was very helpful in getting the ball rolling. I then signed the contract to get the work started. They were scheduled to come out in Jan 2023, which I was concerned about it being too cold, but they said the roofing would be fine in colder weather. They had to push off the initial start date due to weather, which they never let me know, I had to contact them to find anything out. They completed the job in one day. For the clean up, they did a pretty good job, found a few things laying around, but overall pretty good. Up to this point, the experience was a good one, but Brent left the company and everything went down hill from there. I noticed my shingles were wavy and weren't sitting down and noticed some damage to my siding. I contacted them and they said someone would be in contact. Someone contacted me a few days later and said the shingles would sit down when it gets warmer out, which was one of my issues with doing it in Jan. Also, someone would be out to fix the siding. Three weeks later, I was still trying to contact someone to get out and fix my siding. I called multiple times and no one got in contact with me. Once I finally got a hold of someone, it took another few weeks for them to come out and fix it. They were supposed to contact me about fixing my siding (stuff they didn't damage), but I have yet

  Called trying to get help with a siding repair however they told me they only only will do replacements and not repairs.. Not very helpful.

  This is my 2nd home that I’ve gone through Empire for a full roof replacement. They’re responsive, knowledgeable, and do a tremendous job. Brent Stockelman provided amazing customer service to me during the entire process. I will be going back to Brent and Empire for future business!

  We were extremely happy with the installation of our windows, roof and siding. The attention to detail was above and beyond expectations on our 70 year old house. The first night we noticed a sound difference with the new windows.

  Working with Brenton and empire contractors LLC was an absolute pleasure! Brenton is exceptionally knowledgeable about roofing and extremely well-versed in property insurance claims. He took the stress out of the entire process by communicating and coordinating directly with my insurance adjuster to ensure my claim covered the maximum amount (minus my deductible) for a full roof replacement. Brenton's communication was always fast, effective, and professional, and his dedication to providing top-notch customer service truly shined through from start to finish.   I had my entire roof replaced and a low slope roof replaced as well. Unfortunately, the decking material needed to be covered because it was not plywood but boards and the spacing was too far apart. This was explained to me before the work …
