  f you want a roofing company to install your roof one day and come back within 24 hours and tear off 3 large sections of the roof to "re-do" it... if you want to find over 20 nails in your driveway after the crew finishes the job and leaves the premises..and even more nails when you complain and another company rep comes to your home to do a metallic sweep of your driveway, if you want to have a ridge vent cut into the top of your roof when you "specifically stated you do not want a ridge vent" (and it was not a part of the written agreement)... if you want a roofing company whose Owner lies while looking you in the eyes, about the workmanship and materials used or not used, and how many plywood boards were actually replaced after the shingles were torn off...(saying he replaced "x" number of plywood sheets, then when I mentioned that was not factual b/c I could see from my attic it wasn't true), he changed his story to placing new plywood on TOP OF OLD, ROTTED PLYWOOD, which is also not true b/c if it were it would be apparent from outside as the roof would show different levels...if you want lie after lie, food thrown all over in your yard from the crew, and not a single person who speaks English the entire time the roof is being installed, .... then by all means.... hire ADVANTAGE ROOFING!!! They get an "F

  It takes only a quick glance at our reviews to see we are a long standing, reputable roofing company with a proven track record. We are a 10 time winner of the Angie’s List “Super Service Award” for Roofing in Cincinnati, have an A+ BBB rating with Accreditation, and are a Certified Shingle Master company, with hundreds of positive reviews and raving fans. With having worked on over 6,000 roof projects in the last 17 years, we have never waivered on our integrity, the belief in our quality of workmanship, or honoring our installation warranty. Mr. & Mrs. Buxton have, what I believe, is a misunderstanding of roofing installation processes. At my suggestion, they are perusing an independent, qualified roofer to assess the installation, functionality and longevity of their new roof. Mr. and Mrs. Buxton have made no payment for their roof installation as we try to work with them on their concerns.

  I don't recommend Advantage Roofing to anyone. They don't deserve their rewards. Advantage Roofing replaced my roof in Sept. 2010. My new roof then started leaking in several places. The worst things were NEW leaks kept happening. I told Tim, the owner of Advantage Roofing, the roof was not acceptable. Tim would never pay to replace my roof. He was trying to tell me that one of the leaks were caused by a crack on the wall, and he sealed it but he didn't charge me! My old roof never leaked even when it lost more than 20 shingles during the windstorm! It was a relief to him until he realized that the shingles he put on my roof were defective. He helped me file a claim. But the warranty claim is not like insurance claim. The shingle company was trying not to pay you as much as you need to replace your roof. Also, the warranty doesn't cover the interior damages. My ceilings were damaged in several places. Advantage Roofing doesn't pay to repair my ceilings either, even though they offered me 10 years warranty and they said YES to repair interior damages to their customers. I actually offered Advantage Roofing a second chance to replace my roof considering they helped me file the claim and I was trying to be a very nice customer! Long story. You cannot imagine how much time it had cost me and how much headaches I had in dealing with the claim and Advantage Roofing. They don't deserve a third chance! Seems that it was going to be endless repairs until I replaced my roof this Summer by another company. Tim wrote In his last email to me (he then became no response.): Good Morning! Hope all is well! Sorry to hear that you chose another contractor. Because the leak and the damage to the ceiling was directly and only caused by a manufacturer defect, and in no way related to our workmanship and installation, we have no responsibility for the ceiling damage.   My name is Tim Mallory and I am the owner of Advantage Roofing. We are a local, mid-sized roofing company in the Cincinnati/NKY area. I started this company 14 years ago. Advantage is an Accredited Business with zero complaints since 2003 and an A+ rating with the B.B.B. We have also been a top contractor at Angie’s List for the past 8 years and have won the Super Service Award for Cincinnati Roofing Contractor for the past 6 consecutive years. We are very proud of our reputation and regard our high attention to customer service as a direct reflection to our company success. We take our company’s reputation very serious and always try do the very best to insure customer satisfaction. We installed this homeowner’s roof in 2010. She was happy with our work and paid us in full at the completion of our job. Our records indicate her first call to report a leak was in December of 2012. We were out promptly to troubleshoot and fix the problem. However, we could not pinpoint the origin of the leak. This happened 3 additional times over the next few months. Every time we went out, we could not determine the cause of the leak. After exhausting the possibilities it was our workmanship at fault, I started investigating the shingle. The shingle we installed was a highly rated and very reputable shingle. However, I soon discovered there had been evidence of a defect in the sealant channel of some of these shingles. The defect caused random leaks like the homeowner was experiencing. I informed the homeowner of this information and contacted the shingle manufacturer to help her start a claim. We removed shingles from her roof and mailed the shingles to the manufacturer to be tested in their laboratory. The manufacturer did agree the leaks were caused by a defect in their shingle and they would replace her roof. However, when the homeowner asked about the interior damage, I stated since the leak/damage was determined to be caused by a defect in the shingle, and not our workmansh

  We had a positive experience from estimate to completion of our roof replacement project. Cleanup during and after the job was exceptionally thorough. We called Advantage owing to recommendations from my wife’s parents and for two of her siblings. All have roof replacements in the last five years.

  Advantage roofers were absolutely great and the right company to replace my roof. They sent pictures of every step in the process. The staff were very friendly.   Advantage roofing was an amazing company to work with; polar opposites from the roofing company we dealt with in September that took our deposit and ghosted us. From the sales person, Scott, to the office contact Jonna, all the way down to their project manager, Jeff, the communication was amazing! We ran into more problems during our installation that were unseen at the time of our estimate and they handled everything with so much professionalism. We cannot praise them enough and have already referred 2 of our friends to them! Thank you all again so much!
