Update: Since we used this company about two years ago, the repairs on our chimney have failed in not one but two ways. The repair to our chimney cover resulted in materials falling off the top of the chimney in less than a year. It was …

Deer park roofing promised to handle the insurance claim for my roof, even having a special employee, Ben, who dealt with insurance. They had underquoted the original job and had to come back with more charges I was promised would be paid out by insurance. Come time for the balance to be paid. The insurance had not sent enough money to cover it. I had to do a lot of back and forth communication with the insurance company to find out that Deer Park roofing never submitted the charges to insurance. I brought this to the company's attention 2 years ago and I was told it was being handled. Fast forward 2 years later and they are sending demand letters threatening to sue me over an unresolved balance that they did not send to insurance again. I have been trying to get in touch with Tabitha who sent me the emails regarding my account and told me it would be handled 2 years ago. She does not respond to any any voicemail, messages left with office staff, or emails. The company is ignoring my communication while threatening to sue me for a mistake that they made. This is unacceptable and unprofessional. I do not recommend using this company if you plan to file through your insurance.

Really bad (non-existent) communication. I called Deer Park Roofing (because of high reviews) to replace two ridge cap shingles at a rental property. Their communication was beyond horrible. First, the estimate time was changed to two hours …

We’re sorry for your experience and the lack of communication throughout. The recent stretch of heavy rain caused some disruption to our already busy schedule, but we recognize that better communication was still needed. We’re working to make sure this is addressed moving forward.

Doug and Jason came out to do some repairs, and they were great. They were absolute professionals, were kind and gentle with the workspace and my plants, and they did a good job. The back office work could use a lot of improvement. It was about a two week lead time to get an estimator out to look at my damage, and fair enough it was a rainy spring and they probably were backed up. But after two weeks, no one showed up for the appointed time. The estimator called me that day and explained that the office scheduled him on his PTO, and he was currently heading out of town. I sent him pictures and after reaching out multiple times I finally got an estimate. Of the estimates I got, Deer Park was by far the most expensive, but the cheapest estimate included a minimum charge fee, and I really hate that so I went with Deer Park because of the reputation they had for doing good work. After over a month of waiting I finally was scheduled. Again, it probably was mostly weather related but who knows because the communication issues with this company were already known at this point. The fellas doing the work were good as I said above, but the color match of my flashing is not great. See the picture included of my new gray flashing patching my beige flashing. Then, after work was done I tried to pay my bill but it wasn’t ready, so I inquired about if they had military or first responder discounts. The woman at the front reception said they do offer those discounts, but I had to contact my estimator for him to include it, as if it’s discretionary for the estimator to do, which is a really weird company policy to have. So I contacted the estimator and he said they don’t offer discounts, I told him what the office said, that was literally the reason I had called him, and that he would have to check with the accounting team. The estimator never reached back out to me and then a few days later I got an email from a totally different person in accounts payable sending me my bill, whi

Our horror story. Hired Deer Park roofing back in December. Estimator Steve was supposed to quote us to fix 2 holes in our roof. He photographed both areas as part of his inspection then the work order only included correcting one of the two holes. Repair team came out and fixed hole #1, but said they’re have to come back to fix hole #2 since that wasn’t put in the work order. This was fine because they found another area while working that would need new flashing. We were initially told that we would need to set up yet another inspection to get the remaining hole fixed, but this was later cancelled because Steve said he already had the pictures from inspection #1 and it would be another $500 or so to get it fixed. Not sure why he wouldn’t have included that in the initial order, but fine. We had to remind them multiple times to send over the new work quote. When it came it was $2000+ dollars, not the $500 he told my husband it would be. We went ahead and scheduled so that we could get this fixed as it was now mid February and we still hadn’t had our initial work we wanted done completed. Workers came out, and as it turns out still couldn’t do the hole repair because they needed the electrical covered by Duke, which created another delay. A week or so after that, they finally closed up hole #2. They were supposed to let Duke know to come take down the large yellow wire insulation but no one ever did. Meanwhile we were sent our final invoice at the beginning of April. around that time developed a new leak from the roof. We reached out to Deer Park when we got the invoice to let them know about the leak and to ask if someone would be letting Duke know to remove the unsightly wire covers from the front of our house. I was told this would be passed along to Steve and the project manager. No one ever reached out until a couple weeks later when we were threatened with litigation for our payment since it had been a few weeks and was due- I explained that I was still waiti

There was debris all over the yard left by the roofers. Even after they came out a second time to clean. I had to call the next day to tell them the gutter guards weren’t finished when they said they were and had to have them come out a second time to finish.

I'm completely pleased with the work performed today by Doug and Jason of Deer Park Roofing. What was initially diagnosed as a repair requiring new elbows, a new downspout covering nearly two stories and a new pipe into the ground was resolved much more easily by an extensive clean out of leaves and debris in my gutter which were blocking the downspout every time it rained. FIVE STARS and thanks to Doug and Jason for a job VERY WELL DONE!!! I'm very pleased with the professionalism and response I've gotten from Deer Park Roofing! Highly Recommended. Ray Faller

We have a very steep roof four stories off the ground whose gutters were clogged. This is more of a problem for this house than others, as our house is brick with no insulation so when the gutter is clogged rain becomes a waterfall down the outside of the house causing the inside bricks to become wet with water that seeps right through, which was the case today. Austin and Brody G troubleshot the access problem with me and successfully unclogged it. They also then cleaned out a half inch of slime that was under the pine cones and needles that had blocked the gutter and even used a leaf blower to fully clean out the area. They then suggested a fix which should prevent recurrence. My experience with Steve who initially spoke with me to understand my issue and even asked for photos and videos and who helped set up their visit quickly was also excellent with frequent updates. We couldn’t recommend Deer Park Roofing more highly.
