Edited & added: 5. Your crew trespassed on my property without any notice, set up ladders, and left nails and metal debris behind afterward. When I confronted the foreman, he apologized and then asked if he could still use my yard — I said no due to liability concerns, and he eventually moved the ladder. This is my yard, not shared space with my neighbor. My neighbor’s yard is on the other side. Notably, your own reply mentions cleaning up “my property” — which confirms your crew was on my property. The Ring camera footage and photos I’m attaching show the ladder set up in my yard. And yes, non-customers can leave reviews. Neighbors are directly affected by how your crews behave on job sites. 6. I recently had my own roof replaced with a permit. A City of Issaquah inspector came to inspect the work, and I asked him directly — he confirmed that weekend construction is not permitted. Your crew was working on a Saturday morning and continued construction for the rest of the day. Shortly after I posted this review, the foreman came to my door and stood outside for approximately 5 minutes without any response from me. I have this recorded on my Ring camera. After that, they went right back and continued working. As for your claim that working in the rain follows “industry-approved procedures” — I never complained to the homeowner, but I do wonder if the homeowner was told their roof deck was being torn off in the rain, and whether they were okay with that. The photos speak for themselves. As for your claims about professionalism and high standards — entering someone’s property without notice, leaving debris behind, and showing up at a neighbor’s door after a review was posted is not what professionalism looks like. Actions speak louder than words. 7. This isn’t hate. Every single point in this review is based on what I witnessed. 100% fact. ————————————————————— Watching how a contractor actually behaves on a neighbor’s job site is one of the most direct ways to vet t

Hi Xiao, Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. We take feedback seriously, especially when it relates to professionalism, safety, and respect for our neighbors. We would like to note that you have never been a customer of Elite Gold Roofing, and the situations described are based solely on observations rather than direct experience with our services. Because of that, we are unable to verify many of the claims made in this review. That said, we hold our crews to high standards and do not condone inappropriate behavior, unsafe work practices, or leaving debris behind. If any specific concerns arise on or near one of our job sites, we encourage neighbors to contact us directly so we can investigate and address them immediately. Regarding the items mentioned: • Roofing work is often performed during light rain in the Pacific Northwest using industry-approved procedures and temporary weather protection when necessary. • Construction hours and permit requirements vary by city and project. We make every effort to comply with local regulations and permit requirements where applicable. • Job-site cleanup and safety are priorities for our team, and we routinely use magnetic sweeps and final inspections to remove nails and debris. And we did the clean up on your property since you share space with your neighbor and you checked everything so not understanding the hate here. We have proudly served homeowners throughout your area for many years and stand behind the quality of our work. We did 20 houses around you and we welcome anyone considering our company to review feedback from our actual customers and contact us directly with any questions. In over 69 reviews on Google that you did, 60 are 1-star complaints, so this tells more about you than your reviews themselves. You could talk to me anytime, but you prefer to spread some hate on the internet because of your sad life. I feel sorry for you, really. Hope things get better, and you use your time for

Paul and his team did a wonderful job of replacing my roof and gutters. He gave me updates every step of the way. which I really appreciated. Paul is a very honest and trustworthy guy. I would definitely recommend this company. Thank you, Paul. Updated review: So I have another property, that had a leak in the roof. I called Elite Gold Contractors because I had used them before. It wasn't as big of a job. I didn't get the same service as before. They came out and gave me a bid. We agreed on a start date. On that date no one showed up. I called Paul and we agreed on another dated. Again no one showed up. So I started calling around to other places. Then on my ring camera one day, I see someone parked in the driveway moving around there vehicle. They put a latter against the house and that's when I figured out who it must be. No call to confirm they were coming, in a plain vehicle, no company logos nothing. No call until a day after the work done to say they had even completed the job. When I spoke to Paul he said they had moved out of the area and wanted to up the price due to the amount of travel and the amount of gas to get to the job. I reminded him on the price he quoted and he knew these things when he quoted the price. He also said, he would put a drain spout in the area where the damage was; to prevent this from happening again which was never done. I didn't expect this kind of service. Especially after the first time experience. To sum things up, if a company moves out of the area they should let the customer know, they no longer do business in that area and move on. Very disappointed.

Updated Review: I no longer recommend Elite Gold Contractors. We had a leak, and they did replace the dryer flapper vent and fix the damaged drywall. The same leak came back. I then found the dryer vent pipe was disconnected and not long enough to reach the new dryer flapper vent by about 4". I conclude the warm, moist dryer vented into the pipe sleeve, condensed into water, pooled, and caused the leak. I assume the vent location changed slightly with the new roof installation, and the install team didn't realize they'd pulled the pipe apart creating the problem. If so, easy mistake to make, considering the pipe is wrapped in insulation. Unfortunately, when I discussed this with Elite Gold, they were not willing to accept any possible responsibility for this. Original Review: Had a good experience with Paul and the team. Paul was honest and helped me understand the quote and why I _didn't_ need work some other vendors suggested. Roof and new gutters came out great. Very fair price. As with all contracting, do your homework and inspect the work. I found a couple minor issues (connecting a vent hose was missed and the soffits were not cleaned as agree upon). Paul's response was immediate: "we'll get it fixed", and they did with zero fussiness. This is the reason to hire them - if something isn't right, they'll make it right. Would absolutely recommend doing business with them.

I am, however glad that they did refute some of the statements that they were said to have made to the landlord. 1) by complaining about me taking pictures "as you guys were working" you admit that you weren't cleaning up as you went. What contractor does that in an occupied space? Also, of course if you came out and your car had dirt and tar on it, you would start taking pictures so that the contractor doesn't do exactly what you just started doing - lying. As one of you were moving the truck, the other started picking up trash that should have already been picked up, but that was simply paper trash. Also, it refutes what you told the landlord, that you threw trash over the other side of the building and could prove it with aerial photos that I have yet to see. I can assume that you were one of the two gentlemen standing by the truck (out of uniform) when I walked out, laughing and joking. I know exactly what you were wearing. I asked if I was able to get out and if you truly thought it was dangerous, you would have said, "unfortunately we can't as it's a liability issue". If you are to be believed, when you arrive at a job site, and the client hasn't insured compliance with the parking restrictions, you're saying that you just say "ok, well they deserve to have their stuff trashed. not on us!"?? or do you do the professional thing and call them and say "hey, you guys have cars still out here and it's a liability. can you contact the owners and have them move them, because we are about to block this off and it's dangerous to persons and property to be behind our warning tape. Also, the clock is still going on our crew being here". 2) You asked how I could have gotten the nail in my tire when the car was parked. If you read through the review or listened to the landlord, you would have known that I worked all day (you let me out, obviously), came home late, and backed into my space. came out the next morning to see it was flat. I included pictures here of t

Paul at Elite Gold Roofing was incredibly professional, responsive, and considerate of our needs. We reached out to multiple roofers, but Paul offered the best option and was very flexible with color choices and scheduling, which made planning our roof replacement much easier. His team was skilled, professional, and completed the work as planned. They also did an excellent job cleaning up the entire area afterward. Overall, we’re very satisfied with our new roof and the peace of mind that comes with a 25-year warranty, including labor. Highly recommend Elite Gold Roofing!

I talked to several roofing companies before deciding to work with Elite Gold Roofing. Paul gave me a very reasonable quote. I particularly appreciate that he explained to me different roof options and told me that given the location and surroundings of my house, he didn't think I needed to go with more expensive options. (I had another company telling me that if I wanted to replace the gutter guards, I need to replace the gutters too, which I knew was not the case because they were the only company who said so.) Throughout the process, Paul was communicative and always responded to my texts and emails promptly. The crew arrived at 7:30 am and worked until 9 pm. They pretty much finished replacing my roof in one day. On the second day another person came to finish up three smaller lower roof areas. On the third day the gutter person replaced my gutter guards. They also added an extension to my downspout which Paul offered to do this for free. They did a nice job cleaning up afterwards. Below is a picture during the job and after roof completion (before gutter guards installation). I would recommend Elite Gold Roofing.

I cannot say enough good things about Elite Gold Roofing! We recently had a massive project where 7 neighboring households all decided to replace roofs, and Paul and his team handled it flawlessly. From the very beginning, Paul stood out from the competition. His communication was incredibly timely, clear, and professional. Their initial quote was highly detailed and transparent, offering an excellent price with group discount. What I appreciated most was their integrity—they truly stayed behind their quote. Unlike another company that slash prices just to win a deal and then fail to deliver. The entire replacement process was organized well. They worked incredibly hard and managed to complete my roof—including replacing 4 skylights with new ones—in just 2 days! Paul communicated timely for progress with photos and text messages. My house looked fantastic with the new roof. I am very satisfied with their exceptional workmanship and professionalism. I will be recommending Paul and Elite Gold Roofing to my friends and family without any reservation! Thank you for a job well done!

I cannot recommend Paul and his team highly enough. From the get-go, their communication was incredibly clear and prompt. I really appreciate the trust they showed throughout the entire process, which made the whole project smooth and stress-free. The quote was honest and transparent, and I truly feel I got the absolute best service for the money. The new roof looks absolutely beautiful and robust. To top it all off, the crew took care of the post-job clean-up very thoroughly, leaving everything spotless. Highly recommended!

We recently had our roof replaced by Elite Gold Roofing, and overall we had a great experience. Because rain was in the forecast, Paul was able to move our project up by a few days, which we really appreciated. The crew completed most of the reroof in one day and returned the next day to finish everything since we were also having new gutters installed. Paul was very responsive throughout the entire process and answered our questions promptly. The roofing crew was skilled, efficient, and professional. After the installation, we noticed a couple of minor issues, and they came back quickly to address them without any hassle. Overall, we're very satisfied with the quality of the work, the communication, and the professionalism of the team. We would recommend Elite Gold Roofing to anyone looking for a reliable roofing contractor.

I couldn’t be happier with the experience I had with Elite Gold Roofing. From the very beginning, the entire process was smooth, professional, and stress-free. Paul was absolutely amazing to work with. He was incredibly communicative, honest, and attentive throughout the entire project. He took the time to explain every step of the process, answered all of my questions, and kept me updated from start to finish. It gave me so much confidence knowing exactly what was happening every step of the way. The crew was punctual, hardworking, respectful, and highly skilled. I was genuinely impressed that they completed my entire roof replacement in just one day without sacrificing quality. Their attention to detail was outstanding, and when they finished, they left my property spotless. They took great care to clean everything, making sure there were no nails, debris, or mess left behind. It honestly looked even cleaner than before they arrived. It’s not easy to find a company that combines outstanding workmanship with excellent customer service, but Elite Gold truly exceeded all of my expectations. They are trustworthy, dependable, and take great pride in the quality of their work. I would recommend Elite Gold Roofing without hesitation to my family, friends, and anyone looking for a roofing company they can truly trust. I will absolutely use them again for any future roofing needs. Thank you, Paul, and the entire Elite Gold team, for such an exceptional experience. Five stars all the way!

Paul, the owner, was incredibly easy to communicate with and went above and beyond to accommodate all my requests. I would highly recommend to anyone. Had moss removed from my roof as well as my gutters cleaned. Quick quoting process and all of my questions were answered promptly. The price was competitive compared to others I had gotten. The work was done on time and the result looked great. Very professional and fast communication as well, which is rare now a days.

4 Common Causes of Roof Damage in Seattle Homes Seattle homes deal with plenty of rain and moisture throughout the year, which can gradually take a toll on a roofing system. Some roof problems develop slowly, while others can happen after a single storm. Here are five common causes of roof damage homeowners should keep an eye on: 1. Heavy Rain and Moisture Constant exposure to moisture can weaken roofing materials and contribute to leaks if damaged areas aren't addressed. 2. Strong Winds High winds can loosen, lift, or damage shingles, particularly when a roof is already showing signs of wear. 3. Moss and Organic Growth Moist conditions can encourage moss growth, which may affect shingles and contribute to premature deterioration when left unmanaged. 4. Clogged or Poorly Draining Gutters When water can't drain properly, it can back up around the roof edges and contribute to moisture-related damage. Regular maintenance and professional inspections can help catch these problems before they become more expensive repairs. At Elite Gold Roofing, we provide professional roof inspections, repairs, and replacement services for homeowners throughout the Seattle area.
