  We got 2 new roofs, one for the house and detached garage, as well as new skylight. I expressed my concerns for the well being of my garden prior to the installation. I wanted to minimize the amount of asphalt dust that would land in my garden as the petroleum based material contains heavy metals. I was told they would put covers over my garden and take precautions, butthat didn't happen. I had to run out and grab one of their tarps to protect my garden myself while the crew tore off the old shingles. They placed the machine to collect the old shingles directly next to my garden. Shingles debris rained directly over my garden. I asked if they could move the machine to other side of the house, but I was given attitude by one of the workers. I had to text one of the sales guys to make them move it. They later blew off shingles debris off our deck directly into the garden with a leaf blower. The garden was no concern to the crew. Also, when they installed the new skylight, dry wall dust covered the kitchen. They didn't give us any heads up about potential mess from the installation. The new roofs looks fine, but the lack of professionalism annoyed me.

  We called Duluth Roofing Monday morning to have them come out and give us an estimate to re-roof our home and we were told by Georgio that we would be called by the person that does the estimate within 24-48 hours. By Thursday we still had not heard a thing so we called back and talked to Georgio again who himself is a very pleasant man and apologized to us. He said while we were talking to him that he texted the person who was supposed to call and set up a time to come out and that he'd probably be calling us in the next few minutes. We thanked him and hung up. Well, here it is Friday afternoon and we still haven't heard a thing! I guess if this is how they run their company I'm glad they didn't bother coming out!!! I see looking at past reviews this isn't the first time that this has happened. Just read the post by the owner. We never bothered to look at our email because we were told TWICE that we would definitely receive a phone call to set up a time for the estimator to come out! We were never once told that we would receive an email regarding setting up an appointment.

  We had our house roof and a small side garage roof replaced. Duluth Roofing was quick on returning an estimate, and was able to do the work the next week. A couple days before, they hauled in the materials and a porta-potty so they were ready to go at 7am the day of. I saw they supplied cases of water and pop for their workers, too. By the time I got home from work at 6:30, they were done and cleaned up everything, the lawn and driveway were spotless. Looks great, we're ready for few more decades!

  Duluth Roofing Company came to my house and gave a very comprehensive evaluation of my roof, complete with pictures from a drone and a recommendation on how to fix the issues that were found. A very professional, knowledgeable organization.

  Duluth Roofing Company (DRC) was recommended to us by a local (Duluth, MN) builder who said that the company is great and has experience with slate roofs. We have a slate roof with a very steep pitch, so we really wanted to hire a company that was up to the challenge. After soliciting bids from DRC and a few of their competitors, we decided to hire DRC, because they presented themselves as very professional, knowledgeable, and gave a price-competitive quote. Our choice was rewarded with a job very well done. In reality, the job done was more than what I had originally solicited them to fix. They were able to point out additional tweaks that were required on our house and carriage house, fix those the same day, and all at a very fair price. Working on our roof requires the use of a bucket lift, because of the steep pitch. Extensive landscaping complicates using a lift, because bushes, rock mulch, and decorative fencing serve to impede direct access. Despite all the challenges, our repairs were completed within one day, on a day that was constantly misting (typical fall weather in Duluth). Thank-you DRC for your great work. You are now our go-to company for all our roofing maintenance. 2 last items: As you can see from the time stamps on some of the photos, I should have written this review 2 months ago. My apologies for allowing my busy schedule to delay my praise. Lastly, the work was performed by the owner of the company. Yes, he does have several employees, but he is still actively engaged on site to ensure a job well done. Kudos!

  I have had experiences with about three other roofing companies in the past, but this was my first experience with Duluth Roofing. They came onsite within 24 hours of our request, inspected our leak concern, and provided us with three different repair options. They followed up with detailed quotes via PDF documents sent by email. We chose to remove the non-functional chimney and have them patch the hole, match the existing shingles, add valley metal, and caulk other areas of concern. Despite encountering some unexpected issues on my roof, they completed the work within six hours. They cleaned up the site so well that I virtually didn't know they were even there. Duluth Roofing offers a payment plan option through their website and accepts credit cards. If I have roofing needs in the future, I will definitely be calling them again. They are very professional and competitively priced.

  I required an urgent roof repair followed by a roof replacement on my family cabin. The project went incredibly well from start to finish. My contacts with the people in the organization were professional, timely and cheerful. The roof repair happened quickly and successfully. The roof replacement was done on time and on budget. It looks wonderful. I fully expect it will be water tight…. Cleanup and follow-up were excellent. I am very happy with the job done. I would not hesitate to recommend Duluth Roofing for your roofing needs. Jay

  Duluth Roofing replaced box vents for us and, on a different occasion, repaired a section of asphalt shingles that were damaged from a tree. Their communication makes dealing with this kind of thing a little less stressful--I appreciate the combination of calls and emails. On both occasions they were reliable and professional. Their work looks excellent, we've had no issues with any of the repairs they've done, and they explain the problem and their solution very well. I'm also impressed with how well they clean up the job site. I think they treat their customers how they would want to be treated. On both occasions, we were grateful they were able to work us in in a relatively short time, considering how busy they are. The fact that they're busy is a testament to the quality of work they do.
