I have been trying to have a complete roof redone for several years to avoid any leaks. I wanted cedar as I have had it for my first installation 40 years ago. Lockport roofing did a beautifull job but are no longer in business. Vance from Denali quoted a fair price and all the proper products. They only use grade A cedar applied in a way that accentuates the roof caps. They will also fix my soffits and chimney cap as well as match my small playhouse roof. Vance will bring my contract to my house and begin tomorrow. What more can you ask? I will comment on the finished job which I expect will be just lovely. Our neighbors will be watching and I hope to see more cedar in my neighbourhood. October 14 2023 Unfortunatly no product ever appeared on my property as promised. My almost 15 thousand dollar check given to him December11th 2002 was cashed the day after Vance wrote his contract as he required it to deliver the cedar shakes and roofing prodects that never did arrive and no crew ever arrived to do the asap install that he signed the contract for. After I arrived from vacation I was surprised to see no work done or product on my property. Vance was aware I needed to replace my roof in order to satisfy my WAWANEESA insurance before March or they would no longer offer me insurance...no exceptions. I told him I wanted my contract honoured yet he refused. Wawaneesa insurance in LaSalle refused to insure my home unless the contract I had sent to them was completed. All in all what a mess. The saving grace was my home has never had a leak and to this day remains high and dry. Be very carefull before making such a large financial outlay as he refused to return my money I paid December 11th 2022 for my cedar shake delivery and refused to install it before Wawaneesa required it done. It is my 75th birthday and I look back on the 16 thousand dollar job that was installed by a couple of native men in the 80s. It is still protecting my home Never having an insurance. cl

Promised to come provide and estimate 2 days in a row and can’t be bothered to call each day to arrange. Done with this company.

Rhett I’m the owner and operator of Denali Exteriors. My sincerest apologies. The last thing I want to do is forget someone as all my estimate requests are very important to me. My only down time to do estimates is when it rains or snows as I’m the owner, operator, and lead installer. We have so many excellent and happy customers that have submitted amazing reviews after actually having done business with us. Again I’m sorry we somehow forgot you.

Professional and extremely knowledgeable. I was very impressed with how quickly and thoroughly he was able to complete the job. The weather must have been challenging to work in, but it was completed safely and the end results looked fantastic to me. Highly recommend Denali Exteriors!

Vance did a very very good job on my eavestrough, facia, sofits and gutter guards. He is a stickler for the details that make the job look great. His pricing is very competitive combined with the quality of his work make it very easy to strongly recommend Danali Exteriors. Thanks again Vance

If you ever need new eavestrough or any of his other services he supplies, Denali Exteriors (Vance Unger) is the one to call and have the work done. He did our eavestrough but his service, workmanship, customer care, his employees just everything was if it is possible was even better than excellent. From when he first came to do the estimate to when he finished he showed confidence and truly cared to make sure that we were happy with all the work done and we had absolutely no concerns. He kept us informed about everything that knew we needed to know about. We had our roof done by someone else just the week prior which had already been arranged way before Vance came. Had I not already arranged for the roof to be replaced I would have had him do the roof as well. He even took the time to notice and let me know about a minor error by the roofers and told me about it whereas he could have just said "Not my job" but told me about it so that I could have it fixed properly which the roofer did in just a few minutes. This morning I went outside and noticed water dripping from the corner of the roof. It was not coming from the eaves but from behind. I called Vance, told him about but that it was not coming from the eaves so I don't know what the issue is but he is coming down to have a look anyway. Whatever work you need done that he does, do not call anyone else. He and all those he employs in our opinion is the absolute best. Thank you Vance and all your employees It is March 2/2025. I noticed 2 places on the evestrough where the joints were dripping. I texted him today and before i could put my phone away. I received a response from him with an apology no less for something that really was no fault of his and then came a time frame when he would likely come and do the repairs. If you don't choose Denali Exteriors for any or all of your exterior work then you loose. He is the best for workmanship, dependability, service work, quick response and I'm sure I could keep going
