  I called for a $99 appraisal, and I was told they would be in touch. I had to call back 2 weeks later to find out if there was an actual, appointment, or if I was still waiting for a call from the tech/roofer, and they told me the roofer/tech would call. He did that day, and he was supposed to show up the next day in the morning. In late afternoon, he called and said he was on his way, but I had postponed appointments until the afternoon, and asked to reschedule. We agreed I was to be seen the next day in the morning. By late afternoon, the situation was, no call, no show, nothing. I called the office the next day, and of course they were apologetic, but it seems this company does not want your money. The manager/owner was not in contact with me, even with a request to speak with him, the tech called back with a half-hearted apology, but besides the offer of a date the next day, there was no waiving of the "fee" offered, or any type of "guarantee to show". This company really does not want your money. I was polite and calm during my interactions, they were too, but you would be best to save your $99 dollars and go with someone else who actually shows up an wants to do the job.

When you initially contacted us for the inspection, we did explain that due to the unusually heavy winter weather this season, our inspection schedule was running behind. We understand how important clear timelines are, and we appreciate that you waited while we worked around the weather. After you called back, our technician reached out the same day and scheduled you for the following day. When he let you know he was on the way later that afternoon, you had other commitments and asked to reschedule, which we were happy to accommodate for the next morning. Unfortunately, we did miss that rescheduled appointment. That was our mistake, and we sincerely apologize for it. Our technician called to apologize and attempted to offer another appointment. When our owner returned to the office and learned of the situation, he personally attempted to call you as well and left a voicemail. A return voicemail was received a couple of days later at 10:30 in the evening, at which time you asked that we not contact you further. We have respected that request. We understand your disappointment, especially after a missed appointment. That is never the experience we aim to provide. While we did make multiple attempts to correct the situation and reschedule promptly, we respect your decision and wish you the best with your project moving forward.

  Hi Deborah, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and review with us. We are truly sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. We looked at your file, and we installed the eavestroughs on your home in 1995, which is 28 years ago, and the life expectancy is 20 years. We don’t feel this review reflects our standards as no concerns were brought to our attention until 2009 about water overflowing the eavestrough, at which point we cleaned the eavestroughs of accumulated leaves. We were not aware of any other issues and would have been happy to discuss this further. Customer satisfaction is our top priority.   I set an appointment for a roofing quote with Brad and he never showed up and never called to reschedule. I would totally understand if they gave me any reason, but nothing at all. This is not very professional, so they get 1 star in my opinion.

  Davidoff put a roof on 6 years ago with 30 year shingles . Leaking now and Davidoff wants to charge me $ 2300 to fix what they should have done originally.

  Hello David! So sorry that this issue is still misunderstood. As we have communicated over the phone, we were contracted by a builder to install a certain roof, with certain specifications on your home (8 years ago). All of the final touches in the area of the current leak were completed by multiple other trades, this was completed after our final install date, as roofing is one of the first exterior products that are installed on a new home. If you would like a further explanation we would gladly revisit your home (free of charge) to explain your technical issues in depth.   Update: 7 years later... in the summer of 2026 we had a down burst go through my area in the city. Both my neighbour's on each side had their shingles blown off the backs of their roofs. (One roof was new, the other old). My roof looks like the day it was installed by Davidoff Roofing 7 years ago. Its a good quality shingle and installed very well. You get what you pay for folks. I have peace of mind. Skylights are also still leak free. ------- All in all it was a good experience. Our roof looks great, the issue we had was immediately addressed and rectified. A job that I feel confident will last 50 years. Roof venting, insulation, proper bathroom venting, and two sky lights, new plywood on the back half of the house, then a 50 yr shingles (which come with a 25yr labour warranty). I felt confident dealing with this company. Felt i got what i paid for. They even came back to address concerns regarding my noisy bathroom fan AFTER the job was signed off and paid for. Thats customer service right there. I will be getting an estimate for siding, fascia, eves and gutter guards in the near future. Note: this job was done over a year ago. Issues regarding mould on my ceiling in the kitchen and back hallway have been rectified thanks to davidoff topping up a spot where my insulation was moved. My house has cost less to heat and cool this year compared to others. Really happy. Skylights still great.

  I was pleasantly surprised at the service, professionalism and install. Everything clearly laid out by the sales person and the guys who did the install were first class. They were really courteous and treated the house with care and respect, cleaning up and removing everything after every day of the install. The quote was a little more than some (but not all), but if you cost in the quality of the products and install, and longer warranty it's definitely worth it in my opinion. This is the only roof we have had installed, so I have no pint of comparison but I have no hesitation in recommending this company. First class from beginning to end.

  Davidoff Roofing replaced our entire roof, which had a number of missing shingles due to wind and some damaged plywood due to rain. We cannot say enough positive things about our experience. Brent prepared a thorough quote, giving us a range of options on extent of repair and shingle selection. He answered all of our questions and followed up numerous times during the repair process to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. The installers were also amazing and did a wonderful job. Removal, install and finishing was completed in 3 days. I’d recommend Davidoff Roofing to anyone wanting a high quality roof repair and we would work with them again without hesitation.
