  I was looking for a roofer, I called Merkley Roofing on July 30th 2014. Followed up on Aug 6, I was told some one would call back. Received a call and was told could not find my house. I passed the information but never heard from then again. So I called back on Aug 15th and my last call Sept 4th. The lady that takes the messages always says the same thing. We'll call you back. So after 6 weeks I have now decided that I can't trust a company that can not even return a simple phone call. I told them if they don't want to do the job, tell, so I won't loose my time waiting for them. There is plenty of roofer with good reference. It is unfortunate that Dave Merkley doesn't take his business seriously and can even return a simple phone, If they have so much work then they should advise the people calling. A company like this doesn't deserve my business. Imagine if a simple phone call is too much what kind of service would you get on your roof.

  So I go online this morning in search of a roofing company to come and fix some shingles the high winds damaged yesterday. I find many results and decide to call Dave first, since the website was well organized, BBB accredited and I got a good sense of professionalism about the company. Well, my good sense faded quickly when Dave called me back and said that they are very busy, since calls have been coming in all morning. OK. I understand that. It's the next thing he said that got me. He asked me how old my roof was. I told him it was 3 years old, to which he replied, well, I'm too busy, sorry. I never asked for him to come right away! Therefore this lead me to believe that he was after the bigger jobs, and rejected anything else. Since my roof is only 3 years old, there is no way that the whole roof would need to be redone, therefore I was rejected. Most likely if my roof was 10 years old or older, he would consider the job, since there would be a chance that he could convince me to get the whole roof redone. My opinion is that this company is money hungry and does not treat all customers the same way.

  Had Dave and his team recommended by a co-woker couldn't be happier. From start to end they communication was great, very helpful with helping me pick products and color, and came in at a fair price, they kept the yard a driveway clean. I would use then again and recommend them. Thanks

  Amazing experience! So glad I chose Dave Merkley Roofing. Extremely professional, friendly and efficient. Job was completed on time and under my budget with an outstanding finished product. Would recommend them to any homeowner looking for top quality at a very reasonable price.

  Wow - what a hard-working and professional crew! We had an old, crumbling, and dangerous chimney taken down, some decking replaced, and a complex roof stripped and shingled, and the site cleaned up, all in a day and a half. The new roof looks great and no worries about leaks or a wobbly chimney. Highly recommended.

  Following our recent high wind storm I called the company and Dave said they were extremely busy with a high volume of calls with damaged roofs. No promises but it could be over a week before they could get to me. Well I just wanted to take the time to inform you that your staff were here this morning which was a very pleasant surprise since you had so many calls to service. The three guys were terrific and got the job done without any delay and were very professional and pleasant to talk with. They were up onto the roof very quickly and without delay assessed the damage and repaired in it very short order. I think it's important to comment on a job well done in today's world. People sometimes are very quick to jump on the criticism bandwagon and equally as quick to forget compliments and appreciation when a job is well done. I know you said it could be next week before you got to my situation of ripped off tiles in the windstorm because of the high call volume but you got your staff here speedily this week. So you and your staff deserve a great round of thank you's and appreciation for getting the job done so quickly and efficiently. I would not hesitate in recommending you and your company to anybody in the future.

  Dave Merkley Roofing recently quoted (very detailed), then re-roofed our workshop building. The whole process from quoting, answering questions, timing, roofing and clean-up was all very professional, on time and on budget. Jackie is extremely customer care oriented and the roofing team was friendly and efficient. I was impressed, that Dave Merkley Roofing is an equal opportunity employer - KUDOS. Clean-up was carefully done with strong magnets and even picking up small pieces of backing plastic stripping and shingles. Overall five star rating. Will gladly recommend them and use their services again. Thank you.

  This is the second roof that we have done with this company. Very good job both times. Very professional crew, and service. Did not rush the job, and took the time with every detail. Very careful to clean up at the end of each day. I would highly recommend them anytime.
