This was honestly the worst service I’ve ever experienced, and the project manager sucked. Funny how Rick doesn’t even work here anymore.

Replaced my single piece steel gutters with cheap multi piece aluminum despite repeatedly confirming that they would be replaced with equivalent quality steel. Gutters didn't even need to be replaced.
Reply from the business
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, Josh. We’re sorry to hear you’re unhappy with your experience, and we appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns. After reviewing your project file, the insurance estimate specified aluminum gutters as the approved replacement material. Our standard practice is to install seamless, single-piece aluminum gutters (corner to corner), and we do not install multi-piece systems. If what was installed at your home does not meet that standard, we absolutely want to make it right. We’d be happy to send a team out at your convenience to inspect the installation. If we determine that the incorrect product was used or that anything was not completed as promised, we will correct it at no cost to you. Regarding pricing, this project was handled through an insurance claim, and all costs were based on the amounts approved by your insurance provider. We follow insurer-established pricing and scope guidelines to ensure transparency and consistency on every claim. Your satisfaction is very important to us, and we’d appreciate the chance to resolve this directly. Please contact our office at 651-236-4217 and ask for me personally — Danny Hecker, Owner — so I can make sure this is addressed and resolved promptly.

They were hired to do work on our association multiple times and each time we’ve had to hire a third party to fix or repair damage they’ve caused.

Hi Tom, we take reviews like this seriously. Based on our records, we have no record of damage caused by our team that required repair by a third party. We would appreciate the opportunity to review the details and address any concerns directly. Please contact us at 651-294-6106 and ask for Danny, the owner.

Dear Neng, We’re sorry your experience with Crown Exteriors didn’t meet your expectations. Your feedback is important to us, and we regret the delays and communication issues during your project. We strive to uphold our core values of integrity, transparency, and accountability, and it’s clear we fell short this time. We understand how frustrating this must have been, especially with your home involved. The delays were due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts, but we should have communicated these changes more effectively. We apologize for the inconvenience. Additionally, we apologize if it wasn't clear that there were alternate methods of payment available that would not have charged the standard credit card fee. We’d like to discuss your concerns further and work towards a resolution. Please reach out directly and ask for Rick, the owner, if you're open to giving us a chance to make things right. Thank you for your understanding, Crown Exteriors

Mr. Aguirre, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. It was truly a pleasure speaking with you and working through the situation together. I'm glad to hear you were satisfied with the roofing project—we take great pride in the quality of our work. That said, I'm very sorry to learn that we fell short in handling your siding claim and in our communication during a Rep transition. We always strive to deliver clear and consistent service, and it's clear we missed the mark in this case. Please know we take your concerns seriously and are using this as an opportunity to improve. Thanks again for your honesty and for giving us the chance to discuss this directly. If there's ever anything more we can do, don’t hesitate to reach out. - The Crown Exteriors Team

Dear Jason, We’re truly sorry to hear about your ongoing roof issues and the frustrations you’ve experienced. After reviewing your case, we understand that our repair attempts were not effective, especially given the shallow pitch of your roof. While we recommended a metal or rubber roof as the proper solution, we respect that a different approach was chosen, which may have contributed to the recurring issues. To make this right, we’d like to offer a full refund for the repair attempt. Please get in touch with us at CX@mncrownexteriors.com so we can process the refund or discuss other solutions. Your feedback is invaluable, and we’re committed to learning from this to serve our customers better in the future. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to address this. Sincerely,

Dear Anthony, We’re sorry to hear about your dissatisfaction with our service. Our aim is to always provide our customers with honest assessments and recommendations that ensure the best long-term results. After inspecting your gutter system, we recommended a full replacement because we believed a simple repair wouldn’t solve the issue of leaking corner seals due to rusting gutters. We understand this wasn’t what you were looking for, and we apologize if this caused any frustration. We’d appreciate the chance to discuss your concerns further and work towards a resolution that meets your expectations. We never want our customers to feel like their time was wasted, and we’d like to make it right. Please reach out directly and ask for Rick, the owner, if you're open to giving us a chance to make things right. Thank you for your understanding. Sincerely, Crown Exteriors

Adam, I checked both our customer relationship manager and financial software and there is no record of you being a customer of Crown Exteriors. If we would have taken a deposit it would be reflected in our financial system as a transaction. You must have left a review for the wrong company. Please reach out to me (Rick Harding - Owner) so that we can clarify the confusion. Our main number is (651)401-8093 and you can just ask for me. Thank you.

Two years ago I began looking at a home gutter replacement project, and discussed the project with 3 companies. My gutters were 20+ years old, leaked badly in several spots and weren't moving water as they should. In the end, I chose Crown Exteriors to complete the project. We discussed a split to keep cost down, doing one portion of the house first, which had the worst issues / leaks. The job turned out great, and I ended upgrading my gutters to 5" as well during our project discussions. The project moved quickly, they communicated well through each step, and i was very happy with the improvement. I went back this year to complete the rest of the house and received the same appreciated customer service and quality. I especially appreciated the follow up around a question post install, which resulted in them sending someone over to take a look right away. Overall, I'm very happy with the choice and my gutters are working as they should. I'd certainly consider them for any future home projects, and recommend them to others. Thanks again, Brian.

Brian, thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience! It means a lot that you chose Crown Exteriors for the first phase of your gutter project and came back to us when it was time to complete the rest of your home. We’re especially glad to hear that the communication, quality, and follow-through were consistent both times. Taking care of our customers after the installation is just as important to us, so we appreciate you calling that out. Thank you for your trust, your recommendation, and the opportunity to work on your home!

George, uncovering a 110-year-old mural during a roof and siding replacement is certainly not something you see every day. Matt rang my door telling me about roof repair which I usually turn away since my roof is newer. We had small talk which led me to inquiring about deck repair to our deck. I found out through him about a program to help with the costs that I’m currently looking into. Matt is great at what he does! Great guy!!
