  Craig roofing was not contracted to do work on my house. He was working on my neighbors home. The site supervisor, Josh, was unprofessional and dangerous. He and I spoke when the crew was arriving at 7:30 am to do the work. I offered to move my van from the street for easier access for his crew and explained I am a home daycare provider and had clients arriving shortly. He expressed he would be using my adjacent driveway all day. I explained that we used our it and would need access to it. He then told the delivery from Banner Supply to back into my driveway (without my consent) with a 2 year old standing on the steps 3 ft from the driveway. The driver wasn’t guided by Josh properly and HIT MY HOUSE! The truck blocked our secondary emergency exit required as a home daycare. He could have made the choice to move his equipment and have the truck deliver on the property having the work done and didn’t. Neither the driver or Josh notified me. My ring camera caught it all. We had to file a hit and skip police report with the Akron Police Department. During the process of removing shingles and replacing the bad boards on the roof, their crew hit my kitchen window with flying shingles multiple times and boards as the prepared to climb their ladders. After his crew left, we began the clean up project. We removed several nails that would have damaged our vehicles tires and work truck. We cleaned up spinners of wood that could have harmed my clients children or my pets. A phone call to the owner, Jeff, was unproductive. He was rude and condescending. We didn’t have a contract with him so he didn’t care. He took no responsibility for his crew or damages done to my home. I definitely will not be contacting them for any of the work we are doing on our home.

  I called 3 roofers for an estimate on my home exterior project, Craig Roofing being one of them. Upon doing more research before making a final decision, I learned everything I was told by them was a lie. They have less than 2 years in business not the 15 years they claim to have. I was also told they have a local office which I found to be a residential home when I googled the address. I will not being using Craig Roofing due to their upfront dishonesty about their qualifications. This company is why people have a hard time trusting contractors.

  Hi Haley, We have no record of servicing you in our Google Leads System, customer forms, calendar, and have never met you, nor completed an inspection or estimate for you. To be clear, I work from a local home office. I don't have a large building payment and massive amounts of overhead. My real customers appreciate this when they receive a fair price for the service and products we offer, not having to pay for expensive wrapped trucks and building/office expenses. We keep our costs as low as possible so that when you do receive an estimate from us, you are paying for materials, install, and our very small operating margins. If you are referring to my website stating "over 15 years of combined experience," this is accurate. We have over 20 years of combined experience from ownership to project management to installers. This company is not the birthplace of roofing experience for anyone that works for us. Craig Roofing is 2 years old- this isn't a secret. Our positive reviews and trove of satisfied customers speaks for itself. We also offer references, proof of insurance, and our certifications. JC, Owner

  Initial call made and the owner Jeff answered. It was so refreshing to talk to a live person on the first call. He came out same day for an estimate, and the repair was done the same week. I couldn't be happier with the customer service, quality of work, and very reasonable cost. I will use this company for all my roofing needs in the future.

  Very nice and did a great job with replacing the fascia, soffit and spouting. Looks really good! The fellows that came we're very efficient and did a great job!

  Very satisfied with their professionalism and communication. We had them come for a leak at our chimney, and they determined that we'd actually need a mason to make repairs before they could replace the flashing. I appreciate the honesty and that they made temporary repairs with calk to stop the leaking until we can find a mason.

  Craig roofing is a very good company and they do excellent work at a reasonable price, Ive had some bad experiences over the past years with other companies that absolutely had no skill and would straight out lie to your face about scheduling and quality issues plus several other things. You can trust Craig Roofing and its nice to know that we still have that talent in the Akron and surrounding areas.

  I called Jeff at Craig Roofing for a project that needed to be done at my house. I was concerned the job might be too small, but Jeff put it on the schedule the very next day. I came home from work and it was finished as we discussed and looked great - couldn't have been a smoother process. Highly recommend!

  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Rain Chain Install Review… After calling multiple “locally owned and operated” gutter companies and being connected to 3rd party schedulers or leaving messages with no one calling me back. I had no luck in finding a gutter company to install a rain chain. After googling “gutter companies near me”, and going down the list. I landed on Craig Roofing & Gutters. I called and spoke to Jeff, the owner, and was surprised by multiple efforts: •I was not talking to a 3rd party scheduler •Although unfamiliar with rain chains, was interested and open to assessing and installing •Same week appointment •followed up When the day of install came: •was early on time •purchased specific drill bits for install •brought supplies needed •professional and helpful Installing a rain chain, takes a bit of engineering and “McGuiver” skills, I had all of the many moving pieces, but still needed some work arounds. Jeff was patient and knowledgeable in figuring out the best course of action. In under 2 hours, we got the rain chain up and running, and even some other odds and ends I needed assistance with. I would highly recommend this company if you are looking for attention to detail, great customer service, along with a knowledgeable and reliable owner , than Craig Roofing & Gutters is the choice for you! Hammer Time 🔨

  Jeff was prompt in returning calls, emergency service and thorough with completion of work. His crew was polite and neat. No better roofer did I find in the Tri county area.

  I’ve had a great experience with this company. The owner is incredibly trustworthy, fair, and easy to work with — the kind of person who does the right thing even when no one’s watching. Based on how he carries himself and treats people, I’d feel confident trusting him with any roofing job. Highly recommend.

  I needed a roofer to repair squirrel holes and fix the flashing on the chimney. I chose Craig Roofing from a Better Business Bureau list because they had an A+ rating. They earned this rating. Jeff Craig called me within hours of asking for a quote. First he went to the property before quoting. Everything happened as it should have, perfectly. Jeff communicated the entire way through, and sent several photos of the repaired roof. This is how a business should be run. Highly recommend.

  We had a wonderful experience working with Craig Roofing to replace our 30 year old Velux skylight. We had previously gotten a quote from them in early 2025, and ended up prioritizing other projects throughout the spring and summer. Once we circled back in December, Jeff, the owner, was able to honor our original quote and we even received an upgraded version of the skylight at no extra cost. Installation day was one of the recent warm days in January, and the start time of the project was pushed back from morning to late afternoon. Despite this, Jeff was communicative with us and was present on the job site through its completion. While the crew was here, they took extra time to adjust the skylight after we noticed it wasn't evenly aligned upon initial installation. They also patched and replaced two other spots on our roof that had damaged shingles and cleaned out our dryer vent. They went above and beyond, staying well past dusk, to make sure we were happy with everything. I would absolutely recommend Craig Roofing!
