  Two men showed up, worked for about 40 mins. When we checked on them, they were gone. They didn't tell us they were leaving, if they needed to come back or what they did. Not a way to run a business. Not professional at all.

  I needed a new roof and contacted 3 companies that had good reviews on Angie’s List. They all seemed to say about the same thing, recommending similar products. I went with Columbia Roofing as I had used them before for a small project and was pleased. For my roof, they were able to match the other competitor who had the lowest price, and they even beat it by $300. Melissa in the office was especially helpful in answering my questions the few times I called before signing the contract. The day before the project was scheduled, the materials were dropped off; the day they were to do the project, they showed up at the promised time. In one day, they completed the roof, did everything they said they would, and meticulously cleaned up the yard. Just as importantly, the roof looks great! I highly recommend Columbia Roofing. It was a no-hassle project, and the company made good on their promise to install a quality roof in a quick and professional manner.

  HI Garret, I’ve written so many letter to you, asking you to fix the shingles because they flapped so much whenever the wind blows. However, you never even responded to my letter. Last November, you said that you would come and fix them when it gets warmer. Almost 6 months have passed and you just didn’t show up. If you’re still not coming to our house to have the shingles fixed, I’ll send a written complaint to the Consumer Association.

  Our experience with their team was filled with dismally poor communication and inadequate management of our expectations. I actually took the time to put together a detailed document highlighting the main points of frustration which I sent on to the owner. In a similar fashion to his team, he said he would review it and provide an in-depth response. It has been two weeks and I have heard nothing from him - not even to check in and assure me that the matter is still being investigated. Columbia Roofing's inaction, and perhaps incompetence, led to the damage on my roof deteriorating to the point of causing a hole in my ceiling. After 41 emails and numerous phone calls - that were all directed straight to their voicemails, someone finally came to fix the roof and explained that they could have prevented this easily if there was better coordination on their team's side. As of today, I am still waiting for the before/after pictures promised to me to see the work done. I am thoroughly unimpressed with their lack of professionalism. EDIT AFTER SEEING RESPONSE: It looks like the person who responded to my review did not actually read what I wrote or look into my case at all. Sure CRI did respond sometimes to my email, but their responses lacked any substance and were often misleading or outright dishonest (I have written proof of them contradicting themselves). Again, the issue was not the backlog of service. I have explained the actual problem multiple times but they continue to miss the point in their responses. This is a company that lacks integrity and any actual follow through. Work with them at your own risk.

  CRI communicates daily via email and phone to the status of all our customer service work. CRI has had a four to five week backlog of service due to the recent rain and storms, this is communicated to ALL our customers in our communications. CRI responded within that time I am sorry that weather was a large factor in getting your roof repair done quicker. CRI did not cause or contribute to the existing roof leak or interior damage. HO was home at time of repair.

  This is definitely NOT the Columbia roofing that I dealt with to replace our roof 22 years ago. Back then they actually cared about their customers. Now lol it took five weeks to come to repair a roof leak and when they finally came they sent a SUPERVISOR who only looked and said yes you need repairs I noted them down and someone will get back to you!! Two problems when I spoke with Amy to confirm the appointment I asked if they would also be able to give us an estimate to replace the roof this gut said he knows nothing about it and only came to see what needs to be done. My wife called to complain and was told that they have the necessary info and would be sending the estimate that was two weeks ago and I have received neither an estimate on the repair or the estimate on a new roof. My wife called and left a message for the GM to call so she could speak with her, but alas no return call. 22 years ago I would swear by this company and had refereed many people but now I would definitely not recommend this company! The companies response make this review sound as their errors are our fault, We specifically asked AMY if and when they came out to repair the roof if they would also be able to give us an estimate for a new one to which she replied sure he will take picture =s and have the info. As far as an estimate for repairs THAT WAS NEVER RECEIVED, so I can not say if it were actually sent but we did finally get the estimate for the new roof but only after the review was done. Looking for a new and reliable roofing company.

  Mr. & Mrs. Zeller-CRI cares and respects all their customers past and present. CRI replaced your roof in 1997 which I am happy to hear that you have not had any issues and the roof is still in good shape. Our office manager confirmed that Mr. Zeller called into office on 6/7/18 and spoke to Amy (production manager) to report a leak in dining room. On 6/20/18 our service technician inspected roof and made repairs that day. On 9/10/18 Mr. Zeller called again and spoke to Amy (production manager) and said the repair CRI had done in June had fixed his leak but after the recent storms another leak had developed. Amy had explained due to the recent storms CRI had a 4 week backlog weather permitting as did many other roofing companies and we would add your name to our call back list. On 10/19/18 CRI inspected roof leak and an estimate for repairs were given via email on 10/22/18. Mrs. Zeller called in response to the repair estimate explaining that she requested an estimate for a total roof replacement not repairs. Had a roof replacement estimate been requested on 9/10/18 we would NOT have sent a service crew but an estimator. I am sorry for any miss communication, but at no time was a “roof replacement” estimate requested prior to 10/22/18. Please note that the technician noted roof was still in repairable condition. CRI will always give our customer an honest opinion if a roof is repairable or if a new roof is needed. CRI provided a roof replacement estimate to Mr. Zeller on 10/31/18 as requested by customer.

  I would like to personally thank Joe Cox, Benito Castellon, and Jose Marten who exemplify the adage that "not all heroes wear capes". In the beginning, I had consulted Columbia Roofing Inc., for consideration of a snow rail system as the snowcrete this winter completely overpowered my existing snowguards. The saying goes that "Man plans, God laughs" as a high wind event subsequently necessitated a complete roof replacement. I called Joe at 1700 on a Friday Afternoon and to my surprise, he was on site within 20 minutes and was able to assemble a crew to secure my roof and affect emergency tarping/temporary repairs within 12 hours. After completing the insurance process and obtaining HOA approval, I was able to schedule my roof replacement within a week. The replacement gutters and downspouts were installed the day after the roof. Joe, Benito, and Jose were there from project start to project finish. In working with Melissa as well, the process was seamless. The pricing and the workmanship was fantastic. In summary, no words can express the immense gratitude I have for Columbia Roofing, Inc. and I would recommend them without reservation for all of your roofing projects.

  We’ve used Columbia Roofing to replace our roof, install new/replacement skylights, replace double-hung windows, add a double-hung window, install a sun tunnel, and build a large bay window. They have been professional, efficient, and friendly! CRI pays attention to the large and small details and delivers a quality, beautiful product.   We have used Columbia Roofing over the years and are very happy with their competence and professionalism. I recommend them to my neighbors and everyone has been very happy with the results.
