I live in Rum Village and purchased my home in 2023. Shortly after purchasing the home, I discovered that a family of raccoons had gained access to my attic by damaging the fascia and soffit. I contacted your company, and an inspection was completed. At that time, I was provided an estimate and was strongly encouraged to upgrade to leaf-guard gutters. I was specifically advised that this upgrade would help prevent leaves and wildlife from gaining access to my roof and attic. Based on the information provided by your company, I trusted that recommendation and proceeded with the work. Unfortunately, approximately three years later, I am dealing with the same problem. Raccoons have once again gained access to my attic through essentially the same area where they previously entered. I am currently working with a wildlife company, and their assessment has raised serious concerns regarding the quality of the previous work. I was informed that the soffit was not properly sealed and that a metal board and portions of the roof are rotted and should have been replaced. These deficiencies are allowing the raccoons to regain access to my home. The wildlife company has also explained that they cannot properly resolve the wildlife issue until the structural entry points are repaired, because otherwise the raccoons and potentially other wildlife will simply have another way to get back inside. I contacted your main office and specifically requested to speak with Jonathan regarding this matter. I was told that he would return my call later that day or by the following business day. I have yet to receive a call. The lack of communication is extremely disappointing. I am a single parent currently dealing with raccoons living in my attic, which is an urgent issue for me. I should not have to repeatedly contact a company simply to receive a response regarding work that was performed on my home. Additionally, my contract states that the labor is covered by a five-year warranty. At

My bathroom remodel started early February, 2023 and was finished ok in April, but there were problems. I spoke with Jonathon the owner on February 6 that my wife and I would be gone February 14 through 16 2023, and that I would trust them …

Things started to go wrong with our kitchen remodel with the install of our two new size windows. We insisted we didn’t want waves in the wall caused by the new drywall and mudding where old window was taken out. It took three times to get …

What a joke of a company, tried getting an ingress window started drilling into the foundations before realizing they couldn’t install the window in the area where we told them it had to be or we didn’t want it. Pretty much whipped their …

When assessing the feasibility of installing egress windows, we begin by drilling a pilot hole to ensure proper fit. However, after our contractors (not sub-contractors) assessed the situation, it was evident that the window wouldn't fit due to interior and exterior constraints. Unfortunately, there's insufficient space for the egress window. Before we drilled the hole, we discovered the crack in the foundation and immediately informed the homeowner. We also went above and beyond and contacted Yoder Home Services for repairs, regardless of the cause. Despite initial reluctance from the homeowner, Jonathan reached out to address concerns and plan remediation. Efforts to schedule cost-free repairs have been unsuccessful thus far. Throughout this transaction our office manager attempted to reach out to the customer many times with no response while trying to communicate to find a resolution. We've committed to replacing the drywall and matching paint to restore the wall completely. The homeowner won't incur any expenses due to the inability to install the desired egress window. Whether the crack resulted from the pilot hole or not, Clayton Hoover And Sons is ensuring its resolution to leave the home in better condition. The discovery of the insufficient width for the egress window installation was promptly communicated within an hour and a half, along with the crack discovery. We apologize for any inconvenience and continue to pursue resolution with a reputable foundation repair company (Yoder Home Services), covering all associated costs, including drywall repair and painting, at no expense to the homeowner. Please feel free to call our office during office hours for any other concerns or questions.

I had the owner out to take window measurements for replacement. First issue was they only had only ordered 5 of the 6 windows measured. Then blamed covid on the length of time it took for windows to come in. 5 months later after calling back they claimed they switched the window order to a different company. 3 months later they claimed the windows either came in or were a week out. They never followed up on window install. They never installed windows even though I signed a contract with them for the price and install. Very disappointed.

These guys did an amazing roofing job on my house. They recently installed a Certainteed Landmark Pro roof and by far had the best deal. The next best price I received from another contractor was 10% more for an inferior shingle. Shoutout to Micah, the sales rep, for being in constant contact and answering all my questions (I tend to over analyze). Also shoutout to James for popping in my loose vinyl siding when he was up there. I also appreciated how fast they were; getting my entire project done in 4 hours. My only criticism, if any, was they didn't do magnetic sweep of my gravel driveway. Wife and I found probably a dozen nails. Even so, the competitive pricing, speed of the team, and quality of the craftsmanship far makes up for this. Overall I'm very happy and plan on using these guys for everything. Thank you again Clayton Hoover Team!

After a devastating storm we had major water damage due to a tree falling on our back living room addition. Clayton Hoover looked over my insurance estimate, we walked through the project together to find out what was important to us and what work we could do on our own to move money around to get what we wanted. There were clear understandings of what work we would be doing and what work they would be doing so we could fit the scope of the project within our insurance payout. All of the work they did was quality, they even sourced flooring to match the room next to the project room so it all flows much better now. They came when they said they would and we were all able to work together to get project done on time. The custom built ins that Jonathon designed and had made from an Amish cabinet-maker turned out absolutely amazing. The entire room looks 10x better and we will be working on future projects with Clayton Hoover & Sons. Before & after photos attached.

Great experience! After a windstorm caused damage, we found Clayton Hoover and Sons Roofing from the Certainteed shingle's website. We are completely satisfied with the product and workmanship. I would recommend Clayton Hoover and Sons Roofing and Certainteed to anyone looking for a new roof.

We had Clayton Hoover paint our soffits, replace our roof, repair the ceiling above our front bump out, and build an arbor over our front walk up. We are very pleased with all the work they did. They got everything done promptly and on schedule. Everyone we worked with was friendly and professional. Highly recommend.

Johnathan at Clayton Hoover was extremely helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend and go back. The company has a good history and ties to the community. I would expect this company to continue to do well and be around for several more years if they continue to treat customers well.

The crews did an excellent job for us. Pulled siding off upper side of home, layered snow & ice on the side, re-flashed, replaced two windows, did tear-off and re-roofed home. Worked in 92+ degree heat, ambient, 100+ on roof. Very detailed in their work and worked steady for 12 hours (with a couple breaks) Amazing job and wonderfully mannered guys. Going to have them do some additional work inside soon!!!
